The scrambled eggs with toast the cola champagne and the arepitas i find that the drink, the sweet corn bread and the arepitas we're easy and delicious to eat. However, when it came to the scrambled eggs with toast and the fried cheese, I couldn't do it. You see, they use a lot of salt with this food right here and as a person that used to have really high blood pressure, I couldn't eat it.It made me extremely sick and dizzy.Unfortunately, I have to say with all honesty. If you have high blood pressure, don't eat this food, cause it will literally make you sick. The service was excellent. The ambience was perfect. The only thing is, the food needs to have less salt.Better luck next time.

My grandmother cooked the same food.My meal was boiled potatoes, white rice, small bowl kidney bean in juice, quarter piece chicken leg,2pc plantain .What i didn't like i was not told the mango drink wasn't included in the meal.It was just presented as it was part of the special. However with today budget due to inflation, I didn't want to pay $22.00 for a lunch just nothing special. Their menu are a little pricey. The place is not high-end but clean.I think they should lessen the menu, and up the flavor.I will give it a 3star because of that.

Recently moved to the area and stopped in for brunch with family based on the great reviews. We…read morewere the first customers through the door, but the experience left us disappointed. The hostess seemed unsure of what to do when we arrived but eventually seated us and brought silverware. Our waitress was friendly and got us water promptly. We asked for paper menus instead of using the QR code and were given one. Despite being the first table, we waited 30 minutes for our food. The first plate came out with another that wasn't even for our table, and we had to wait a bit longer for the rest. I had the special--stuffed French toast--which came out cold. My husband had a burger and fries and said they were just okay. On a positive note, the decor was nice and unique, and we appreciated that they offer a military discount. Service was decent and the food had potential, but based on this visit and my family's separate experience (which is in another review), we're unsure if we'll be back.

Tried out this location after seeing great reviews online. We went in expectation of trying out…read moretheir brunch menu and arrived right as the business opened. We were the first customers to be seated and still waited 30 minutes for our meals. The ambience and the customer service here is great. The seating is comfortable and the decor is colorful + inviting. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, which is one of my favorite breakfast meals. Let's start with the positive- the home fries slap! They are seasoned perfectly and are tender. The Eggs Benedict portion of my meal needed some assistance. The eggs were over ham and a biscuit. Both items were good. I cut into my first egg yolk and it did not run at all. Plus, there seemed to be a film around the egg yolk (see pics). Not how you want to experience the egg in this meal. The hollandaise sauce was running and had the color and consistency of chicken broth (see pics). Also, not how you want to experience a good Eggs Benedict. I did share my displeasure with my meal with my waitress. She was accommodating in removing the plate from my table. She came back to share that the manager said that my meal will be comp'd. It would've been nice to have actually spoken with the manager. This place has great potential. It may just have been a bad day. I am not sure if I'll go back to try it again. Just being honest.

The decor takes you right to island vibes. The music, the small trinkets that remind you of Puerto Rico are all here. The aromas in the air will have you drawn in. Our trip we had the roasted pork, and cube steak. My roasted pork was very flavorful. The rice reminded me of my grandmother's rice. The beans are amazing to say the least. I want the recipe! Tostones were fresh and hot! Made to order. The sweet plantain was the same. This last trip was today. Sundays are super busy! It was nice to see all the tables full and watching the family move in unison to get the customers taken care of. I ordered my food to go so I sat at the bar and waited for my food. Jessica the owner greeted me and was super attentive. Even when the hustle and bustle started she still checked on me. Today we ordered the pork chop dinner with rice and sweet plantain. I had the pork chunks with rice and beans along with tostones. We also had an alcapurrias that was delicious and flavorful. If you're looking for a true Puerto Rican restaurant that gives you all the feels along with great food and hospitality.....This is it!

The food was good--the chicken was cooked very well and seasoned nicely, and the mac and cheese was a standout. My husband enjoyed every minute of his meal. It wasn't exactly what I expected at first, but it actually grew on me the more I ate. Unfortunately, I won't be returning due to the customer service. I have Jamaican friends, so I understand that communication styles can differ--but kindness and courtesy are universal. When I asked for extra jerk sauce, the woman at the counter responded in a way that felt condescending, saying I should know jerk chicken is grilled and doesn't come with sauce. She did offer to put gravy on the rice, which I appreciated, but the delivery of her response could have been more courteous. I simply clarified that many places I've been to (in Augusta) do serve it with a sauce. That could have been a moment to politely explain their style instead of making me feel dismissed. Another customer was speaking highly of the gravy on the brown stew chicken, so I asked if I could purchase a side of it. I was told no. I even offered to pay extra, and again was told no--without any effort to accommodate or offer another option. There were no pleasantries, no warmth, and no sense that my business mattered. That lack of customer care completely took away from the experience.
