I used to work in Fall River years ago and would get my car cleaned at Vic's. Always a great value and great service. I was traveling in the area this week in a rental and I had a gallon of marinade explode in the back floor board after I slammed on the brakes and the top blew off. Needless to say it was a bloody mess. I pulled into Vic's this morning and spoke to the owner, Joe. I explained the situation and Joe said what anyone in my situation wants to hear, "Don't worry we'll take care of it this morning and call you when it's done. It'll be just as it was." And, it is. Today had them wash my truck 22 dollars and that doesn't include rims and tires so I played the $5. I could not believe what they did, my raised white letter tires were gone there was this black grease on them and my chrome rims. Then they used a towel from the wheels to wipe the truck I have all this grease/oil smeared all over my brand new black truck. After having my car washed at other places I decided to go out of my way to have my car washed at Vics. While the prices were not the same as when I had my car washed there ten years ago, they are certainly worth it. When I go to other places they do not do wheels well, i have to vacuum myself and they don't towel dry. They even dried inside my door area! This was 22 and my car drove away spotlessly. I've brought my car to Vic's Car Wash for many years, and I was very disappointed this time. After caring for my son's dog who left nose prints on the inside left rear window, I realized that Vic's never cleaned the window. When I called to tell them, the person on the phone said they don't do the inside window, because people are concerned about theft of their belongings in the back seat. She also said you have to ask for the inside of the window to be cleaned. But don't they vacuum the back seat? What? Doesn't make sense to me! Very bad service, for $22 bucks now for the works you get a horrible job. Nothing like it was in the past, never had issues but the past 3 times it did it for me. I usually go there 3 to 4 times a month to wash my truck or my wife's car but they lost a customer of years and years of going there. U pay to have ur car washed, vacuumed and dried and not one thing was done correct, still my carpets not fully vacuumed, the car basically still having dirt marks and not fully dried. Also the worst part is when I had to tell the kid working... u only cleaned my windshield with the same rag u cleaned the whole car with. When the new management took over the place went down hill. Never again will we go again. Just today spent $ 22.00 plus $ 5.00 for the rims. Car not vacuum cleanly and the dash was as dusty as ever,door jams not wiped down super bad. The guy cleaning the rims missed several spokes and to top it all off I had to ask if I got the new car fragrance. What a joke Save your money they don't give a hoot about you. I assume Vic's Car Wash is under new ownership. I frequented the car wash for years, but returned on 1/13/17. Now, the pricing is $24.00 for a works wash, plus the wheels were not even cleaned. They were black with dirt. I asked about the wheels and was told if I wanted the wheels clean I had to pay an additional $5.50 FOR A "Wheel Deal"! I reluctantly paid the $5.50 and the attendant wiped them with a dirty rag. I seem like it was the same dirty rag they used to wipe dirt all over all if my windows. I also had my mats cleaned (supposedly), another $5.00. This place is an absolute joke. I should also add, they took the mats out, got in to drive my car forward with muddy feet. Now I has to clean the floor carpet on my new car. Mats came out muddy and soaked, dripping with water. Couldn't put them back in the car. read more

My car was Filthy rims dirty looked as if the water Never even touched them. I really couldnt see how good of a job they did its dark in there. I pulled out n drove down the ave. I noticed my dash was still dusty my speedometer area too! Water spots all over my car. The outside of my glass rear windows looks like they used dirty rag. I went home n cleaned up my car. Vic's was great in the past,but has gone down hill recently.Their hours are not reliable.Their stated hours indicate they close at5:00 PM on week days,but if business is poor they just close whenever they like.Today that was3:00 PM.The price for the regular wash has increased to $14.00.This is way over priced,compared to local competitors.I will not be returning to this establishment. read more

I've been getting my car washed for over 20 years all over the country while on active duty in the Marine Corps. I've been going to VICS every time I came home for leave from 2007 to 2012. The prices back then were so much cheaper and they gave a military discount. I love taken care of my car and making it always looks so clean and fresh and that was the job they did back then so I never had a problem tipping 10 bucks on top to the hard workers that made my car look so good. Well today I came back home from DC and after a long drive up I wanted to get that great car wash from Vic's, only to be Extremely Extremely Disappointed . Let's start with when I got there No one at all was there in line so I was happy to be the first figuring that they would pay attention to detail on the inside of my vacuum job as well as the wipe down of the interior. So after asking the guy to clean my Matts too and looking at there new prices how it came out to about 27 dollars for a full wash plus Matts I felt wow prices went up they must be doing more for their customers. So the car went through the wash I went to pay and there was an old lady who is losing her hair cashing me out who I had to argue with to get a military discount and she said she's never done military discounts before but she gave me one dollar off my total $27 to get my car washed, I was extremely upset because I've been coming there for a long time and they've always given me a military discount. So then I went to get my car outside I see that it was nice and cleaned on the outside and the guys were kind of working hard to wipe it all down so I decided to reach into my Pocket and grab five dollars to go put in the tip jar, as I walked out to the car I looked on the inside they never cleaned my interior at all and they never vacuumed either they put my clean mats on top of the dirty ground that they never vacuumed. Then while looking on the steering wheel towards the radio, I noticed all kinds a dust all the way down to the drivers stick and I had more dirt in the car then what I brought the car in with. I am so aggravated and extremely pissed off at this point because everything needs to be dusted and wiped down and cleaned and they didn't do any of it. I was extremely upset and disappointed in how this car wash that I used to love coming to ever since I was a little kid with my parents to coming every time I came home on leave from the military to what it has become now. If I could give a zero star rating for the attention to detail and to the embarrassment of myself paying $27 for a car wash that I didn't even get my car cleaned i would. I feel like not only do they owe me and other customers an apology for the disgrace of the work that they do there but also should lower their prices for the type of work that they do there as well. I wish I could give them zero stars but I guess I'll just give them one star because their equipment to clean the outside of my car works. So needless to say I will never be going back there ever again and I will definitely be telling all my friends not to go there as well. This place definitely needs to get their act together and there prices. This was the worst experience and time wasted by far. I will not be coming back at all. Been going here for years, brought my car in for a wash and expected to have the same service as always. Brought the car home parked it in the garage and when I came out in the morning I noticed scratches all over the passenger side doors, door handles all over the place. Whoever dried my car clearly was using a cloth that had been dirty and not replaced properly. When I contacted the owner he said this was impossible and they never use dirty clothes so my car must have gotten the scratches somewhere else he would not take responsibility. He wanted me to come in and watch them wash cars, sorry watching them wont help the fact they used a dirty rag to wipe down my car. Now I have to pay to get these scratches removed. I drove up today and had the car cleaned and also vacuumed on the inside. There is a sign disclaimed that rock salt and snow cannot be fully removed nor pet hair. So I realized that going in. The gentleman who brought my car in was polite enough as were the two other gentleman who handled the vacuuming and the washing of the interior windows/Interior of the windows. What concerned me was what kind of rush job they did for the price they were asking. I realize it's cold and my car will get nice and salty with a couple of days I guess I'll hire expectation when you pay that kind of money for an interior wash versus going to a drive up and do it yourself place. Went here today and I was the only car there I asked for everything even the tire shine. When I left the car was still wet so I couldn't notice that the tire shine wasn't on my wheels and as I get home I don't smell any fragrance at all. Last time I went they did the same thing, I paid for the tire shine and didn't get the fragrance or the tire shine. I went back after I spoke with Joe the owner on the phone and he said I will take care of it. I go back and after all time wasted and gas Joe says okay your alset. No coupon for a free wash or credit to come back etc after all the driving and time wasted. As a business you have to be in it for great customer service and apologize for horrible service and wasting the customers time and gas and you can't even get that out of the owner. I have been taking my cars there since 97 and the past couple of years the service has changed. Guess I'll drive further for better service, for 22 dollars I think everyone expects way better service and better customer service from the owner. If you can't run a business correctly don't run it into the ground. Mind you in 97 to get the works on your car it cost 12 at the most and your car was beautiful when done. read more

If I could give them a -1, I would. What a waste of $13. It cost $11 for the wash and and extra $2 for an underbody wash. I thought $11 would cover the underbody wash. It was such a scam how they nickle and dime you but the way the price posters read, it appears like the underbody was is included in the $11 cost. Okay so I paid the extra $2 for the underbody wash. The underbody wash could not have been more than 40 seconds or less because the complete time my car went through the wash was maybe 3 minutes. During this time, I did not see any water touch my wheels or tires--the contraction that held and moved my tires had a height that the water could not possibly reach. With no water reaching my wheels or tires, and the fact that I didn't pay the additional $2 for my wheels, my tires had virtually the same grime on them coming out as when they went in. I keep car rags in my trunk for when I wash my car so I removed as much of the grime from my tires as I could before the next car came through the "unpressurized wash". I drieds my door jams and inside the doors, and also the bottom of my front windows where the windshield washer blades were--they did not lift the blades to wipe the water which also included the dirt that didn't get washed off. This was absolutely the worst car wash I have ever gone to. I should have taken the advice from the other low rating people gave this car wash. I even sprayed wheel and tire cleaner on my wheels and the water did not touch my wheels or tires. After the "car wash, I went to Kwik and Kleen and power cleaned my tires and wheels, in addition to the dirty front bumper, and rear bumper myself for an additional $4.50. I will go back to Kwik and Kleen in a week to do an underbody wash that I feel confident that it actually happened. Do not waste your money going the this Vic's Car Wash location. A co-worker recommended Vic's but unfortunately, I went to a wrong location. Unless you have money to just give away, do not go to this Vic's location!!!!!!! read more
