    I dropped the car off at 8am, Bill asked if anything in particular needed to be looked at, and by 4pm the same day I picked my car up looking better than the day I bought it. Black cars have a tendency to show things off (scratches, swirls). I was ecstatic to see how clean and shiny my car looked inside sAny questions on how to clean my car up I'll refer to Bill from now on. **Revised due to instrument panel area having unnoticed splatter marks and having to drive back a few days later for them to be cleaned. **

    Once again, I am utterly pleased with the result after picking my car up from Paiva's. Bill and his team exceed expectations! I got the "First Class" package which is exterior/interior detailing as well as the engine bay add on. My car looks better than when I purchased it. Look no further than Paiva's for your auto detailing. Better yet, if you go away on a trip, you can drop your vehicle off to him and get shuttled by Thrifty to the airport and come back to your car all fresh and new.

    I had the misfortune of transporting piles of freshly picked pumpkins one weekend in October and along with that a spilled soy sauce bottle in my Mazda 5. Needless to say my car reeked like no tomorrow and it seemed critters have all but seeped into every inch of my car orifice. In my search for a decent car detail, I came across Paivas. At first It didn't look like much as it was off the main road near TF Green airport and in the middle of a big parking lot it shared with the Thifty rental company, but after searching around for reviews and comparing different places, this place was the answer to my woes. After talking with Bill the owner, he was able to put me in early Wednesday and as an added plus, he even gave me a ride to work all the way from Warwick to Johnston. Dropped off the car right before they opened and ordered the full vehicle reconditioning. As soon as work got out I arrived back at the shop to an almost brand new car just the way it looked when I first bought it. The car had the new car smell and everything was glossy and polished. I couldn't believe it. A job well done and I was put at ease by Bill as he explained his dedication and attention to detail with his work. He also stated that he has honest, responsible workers which he ensures that any valuables found in the car will be handled with care and returned to the owner. Highly recommended and I may make this a yearly part of my maintenance in keeping my car looking like new.

They stated they couldn't do much to the rear without ruining the defroster; the whole point of going to a professional is that they could do this. So, seeing out the rear is still difficult. Also, the windows now have a fog. My other main concern was a weird scent in the carpets. I waited a few weeks to post this so the invasive spray they use could dissipate, to tell how good of a job they actually did. The weird smell is still there as if they didn't wash anything at all. If anyone cleans something well a perfume should never be needed. The truck wasn't dirty otherwise but they didn't clean the cup holder that I had spilled something in the day before. Lastly, it was never conveyed to me that they didn't have a waiting room or that it's drop off only; I had the displeasure of sitting in a Dunkin' Donuts for over 4 hours.

The different types of coatings can be overwhelming to understand but Ray took the time to explain the process to me and what my options were. We set an appointment several weeks out and I set about waiting. Naturally a few swirls and even a scratch appeared while waiting but when the day finally came, Ray assured me he would be able to take care of everything. I expected to be without my car for a week but to my surprise, he said it would be done in just two days. As promised, the car was done in two days and of course, it looked amazing. To the untrained eye it probably wouldn't have looked much different if he'd just washed and waxed it though since it's a brand new car. To me, it looked so much better! The paint was deeper and reflected clearer. The finish looked flawless from every angle: not a swirl in sight. He had also cleaned the interior, coated the glass, and the wheels (including barrels). If that was all he did I would have been thrilled but.... I then received an in-depth explanation of the steps that were taken, the products used, how to care for it, the additional services (both complimentary and paid) that would be done to maintain the coating, and was given additional product for wash and finish. In addition to quality work I received high quality service! Price was exactly as we agreed and was more than fair for the work performed. Final note about ceramic coating - this is not your father's carnauba wax. Water seems to be completely afraid of the paint and it runs off in sheets. Picture below tries to capture it but it has to be seen to be believed!I

    ABSOLUTELY horrible customer service! PLEASE let me explain. I went into the shop thinking I was…read moregoing to get better than normal customer service, I was wrong! I bout about $150 worth of products, 3 wooly mammoth towels and a car wash sud sprayer. The sprayer didn't work that well at all and the salesman, tall skinny dark haired kid, told me the towels were the best one they have as far as absorbency. Well I washed my truck and then dried it, and the towels not only weren't absorbent, but they left lint over the entire truck. So I had to go back over my truck again with different towels. I then went back to the shop, same day about 4hrs later, and I talked to a smaller kid, light hair and glasses. I explained to him my issue with the towels and he replied that I had to wait for a call back from the owners because they were in Florida. They did refund the unopened towel and brushes. So I wait about a week and a half and call Jenny (401) 415-0778. She initially stated that she would have no problem issuing a refund at the store but she wanted me to email their customer service number first because the stuff was opened. I said no problem and emailed them. The response I got back was basically an cookie cutter response and it didn't make any sense at all. I then called Jenny back 3 days later and she said that she wanted to wait for their corporate to make a decision on what to do. So my questions is, how this someone supposed to know how well a product works if you can't try it out???? In this day and age, someone is able to bring back something that's opened without question and get a refund. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!!!
