Love the vibe at Vicky's! The staff was so friendly. Such a huge selection of fabrics for your sewing and quilting needs. And they have an advent calendar you can purchase to open a "treat" for 25 days!!! Highly recommend coming if you are a crafter!

Friendly service and excellent selection of fabric, plus so much more! I've really enjoyed the sewing lessons Vicky's Fabrics offers. The teachers are extremely patient and knowledgeable!

    Stunning examples and kits available.

This shop is extraordinary. The service is impeccable, the selection is astonishing (especially the unique batik fabrics), and the variety of fabrics, kits and inspiration is unmatched. Maile has built on the legacy of Auntie Vicky to create a truly special place where one can connect, create and experience aloha in every sense of the word. Do not miss this fantastic fabrics and notions shop. It's the real deal.

My fav fabric shop on the island! It's a darling but packed space with loads of variety. You will find beautiful batik options but also a good variety of tropical florals, and Japanese motif and others like seasonal offerings for holidays. Her shop has a lovely show window with incredible quilts and projects to get your inspiration going!

Loads of quilt patterns, kits, and a good amount of already stitched souvenirs for purchase, too.

The two women also recommended an upcoming festival in the area that we attended based on their recommendation and for something to do while we vacationed on Kauai! There are beautiful fabrics in this store, tea towels, napkins, tablecloths, placemats and so much more to take back to the mainland for friends and family!!! Thank you for the service! It was our 1st time to Kauai! Dawne

In fact, I filled half a suitcase with fabric for two quilts on our honeymoon and then called and they shipped more! Well, it had been two years since my last visit and I wonder if they are under new ownership or have fallen on hard times because it is not what it used to be. First, it was really hard to find the hours because each source was a little different. There isn't a recording on their number and the website was down. We eventually chose to drive by on the weekend to learn they would be open until 2 on Monday. We worked it into our plans to go there specifically and I regret doing it, sadly. The shelves are barren. There were just a few options for Hawaiian fabrics. I didn't check the prices because there wasn't anything I wanted to buy. The employees did not speak to us, and my husband remarked that you almost feel like they're annoyed you're in their store. I'm not someone who wants princess treatment, and I've never met a stranger, but something was just off. I also needlepoint and had seen a post somewhere that they carry canvases. There were two pinned to a board, sort of traditional Hawaiian designs but very simple. So I would buy my canvases off island if you're wanting to stitch on theme from paradise. I just really hope that they're doing okay and would also be delighted if the shop returns to its former glory one day as it was always a little slice of heaven to me.

I especially adored the kids lunch boxes they had and definitely would've gotten one for my niece if she wasn't years away from needing one. There's a pretty big range for the price. For some, I was surprised they were more inexpensive than they looked. Others, my jaw dropped at the price tag. I ended up finding one shirt I really liked while browsing. Unfortunately, the size I needed wasn't available. It's definitely worth a stop and one of the better clothing shops in the area.

She proceeded to ignore me and my husband, until my husband went outside to wait for me allowing me time to enjoy shopping, as he was getting angry at the way I was being ignored. I had several items and put everything back as I was not going to support a business that did not welcome and treat local people with the same friendliness, welcome and Aloha she was showing tourists. Went across the street to Beachside Boutique and Salt & Sea that had no problems welcoming all shoppers and spent my money supporting local businesses that made me feel welcome and valued.
