We got a two-tiered white cake with pudding filling in the top and frosting filling in the bottom for my husband and I's small wedding. It was a 30 guest cake. Perfect for us. I wish I did pudding in the bottom too though because it was really good in the top. My experience was like a replica of what Maricris A. experienced. I, too, was ignored and the lady who was helped who came after me was also way more apologetic than the teenager who completely bypassed me. What should have taken a few minutes took about 20, which is 15 more minutes than I'm willing to spend for pastelitos-especially in an area that is heavily populated with options. Sad experience, since Vicky's is one of my favorites- but I'll keep giving my funds to the one on Pines or the original spot on 67th. Best bakery in town! My kids love going here and I often pick up items for my husband to bring to work. My personal favorite is the media noche. No one makes it quite like Vicky Bakery! Parking is horrible, but it's not their fault. The developers have sadly built that plaza up beyond its means, and honestly, if I can't find parking nearby, I just leave. I come in all the time and to be honest I don't know why. The croquetas taste of freezer (I've tried all of them), their empanadas are never cooked all the way (most of the time they're even cold inside), their tequenos are stiff and watery inside and there's always a huge line. I always think that maybe I caught them on a bad day, but this happens every time, even in the mornings when I assume things should be fresh. I don't know if this location is the issue or if it's the chain in general but I give up. I literally buy an assortment of things because I know I will be disappointed somehow. Great place! The whole decor of restaurant its all about positive thought and a lot of faith quotes! The place is really clean! From the fos on the windows, to the walls, and as far as i could see on the kitchen. We had croquetas, a meat patty, tequeños and a media noche sandwich which it was grilled to perfection and the taste of the meat was outstanding! Definitely they are marinating the meats. Everything feel fresh! We also had fresh squeeze orange juice which it was amazing! As good as it gets! The girls were busy, it was a friday morning around 10am and the place was popping! Being born and raised in Miami I have been to plenty Cuban bakeries and several Vicky Bakery I must say out of all the ones I've been to this is one of the cleanest and freshest bakeries around. From the pastelitos, empanadas to the freshly squeezed orange juice and cant forget El Cafecito. Miramar location decor and staff rocks keep it up guys. read more

I have breakfast there very regularly and the staff are awesome. They understand that customers going to work at 6:40 a.m. are on a hurry to bit the traffic. Italian by birth , gringo by location and a fan of the Cuban food at this place. Cueso pastelito with the Media Noche sandwich was flavorful and tender. The pork was shredded but could have gone a little lighter on the mustard/mayo . The sweet soft bread was fresh. From time of order to when i received coffee it took a good 10-15 min to get a cortadito. I had to ask for it. All the other Vicky locations are usually very quick. If i had a bigger order i can understand waiting, but not that long for one order of coffee. read more

So disappointed! This place keeps getting worse and worse in quality. We live around the area and are limited on the number of bakeries so we frequent this location about 2-3 times a month. Today our breakfast special came with 2 measly slices of chorizo, 2!!! It always comes with 3 minimum. And the tostada was limited on butter and the overall quality was bad. Terrible service. Very disorganized. Kept coming here because my son enjoys it but enough is enough. Every time my order is messed up somehow. Today once again same thing. I've been to a few Vicky Bakery between Hialeah , Miami Gardens and Miramar . I can honestly say that none compare the the one in Miramar . The service is amazing , the are friendly and welcoming , the quality of the pastries and food is awesome and fresh . I go there just about everyday . I can't get enough . Vicky Bakery! The Cuban pastry shop that this Miramar area was needing for years!!!!! Let's face it, every little area in South FL needs a little slice of Cuban pastry heaven. Vicky bakery was established in 1972 and do Cuban pastries right my Yelp friends. When in doubt for Cuban pastries, look for a Vicky Bakery in your area; they have several location in South FL ( not to be confused with Vickey bakery- not so good). I don't know if it's the cafe con leche (Cuban expresso with milk) talking, but I really don't understand why this location has a 2 1/2 star rating, it really is a five...... and I am picky about my Cuban food. The store is currently located in the front end of shopping center on Miramar Pkwy & Flamingo, next to Orange Theory. This place was pretty packed on a Sunday morning. Have no fear, when u walk in grab a number, and it will be called. They serve breakfast, sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, Cuban coffee, soft drinks, and freshly squeezed O. J. on top of all the amazing pastries on display. In addition, you can order cake and party sized Cuban pastries. They have several employees behind the counter attending to customers at the same time, which made the wait shorter. I found my server extremely pleasant and efficient. This was my first time visiting a Vicky's and my experience was horrible. Okay, the actual bakery is beautiful, I love the ambience... But I go to Cuban bakeries for good food... And that's exactly what I did NOT receive. I ordered a simple tostada cubana, croquetas (jamones) and a café con leche. The croquetas were chewy, cold (I've had not so warm croquetas before that were at least crispy) and lacked flavor, the tostadas were just wrong (I don't know if it was the type of mantequilla that was used or the bread... Probably both) and even my cafe con leche left a lot to be desired. I'm never going back. I would've been better off making the drive to the Arianna Bakery at 186. read more

Finally a Vicky bakery close to home, for some reason I think this location is more expensive than any of the others. I'm use to going to the miami lakes location and was thrilled when this one opened because it's so much closer to my house, needless to say I still make the drive to the Miami lakes location. This location is cute and everything is clean but the wait is sometimes too long and the ladies seem to take their time while helping customers. The Miami lakes location runs so much smoother, the people that work there look crazy walking back and forth trying to get everyone's order and help keep the flow of everyone who's coming in and out. In my opinion this location needs a couple of workers from other Vicky bakery locations to make it run smoother and better. This place is great. Any Cuban in Miami knows Vicky Bakery. Lately I've seen these guys popping up all over the place. The location in Miramar is no exception. The food is good, the price is right and the staff is friendly. I paid $12 and got two Cuban coffees (coladas), three Cuban toasts with butter, a ham and cheese croissant and a cake pop. You can't beat that kind of pricing. Every time that I get food in here, it tastes great and it's well-prepared. And the decor in here is really nice. The tequenos are not cooked thoroughly and the cafe con Leche has never been good since I've gone here not to mention they over price everything. This place ALWAYS gets my order wrong. When I say always I literally mean always. More than 8 times it has been incorrect, and I'm not the only one. I've had friends agree, and tell me the same thing happens with them when they order. They're careless when preparing Uber eats orders. I always call when it's wrong, and all they do is have Uber eats refund what is missing. I rather get charged extra to get my order correct than $5 refunded. Don't get your hopes up when you're craving Vicky bakery, and order on Uber eats. Something will always be missing. read more

Where to start...I've been coming here for about a year and every time I come the service gets worse, I don't know why I keep doing this to my self. I know I am a picky eater and have a special order but when I order I break it down and specify everything to the T. But when I get my receipt there are no notes on everything I asked for so I was basically taking to myself? Second thing when the lady making the coffee calls me up to the counter she asks me how I would like it because all it says is "special" taking me back to my first point, when I got my coffee it was the opposite of what I wanted. I wanted it cold I got it steaming hot... third of all when the lady calls out my name to pick up my food she has it in her hand under her mouth talking to her co worker about a "bitchy" customer for a whole minute while I am starting at her...Safe to say this is my last time coming to this location. This place is just like the other Vicky's. They try to get you in with their decor and supposed service. I came In to try this location after the Miami lakes location being to far away for orders. There is no manager presence; no line system. I waited 10 min trying to get helped while it was a free for all of people saying they were first to get helped. Haven't you ever been to publix at the deli line and seen the ticket system? You should think about that. Spending a $100 in little bites and not be helped is not a good look. read more
