Hello! I would like to recognize one of Vickie's caregivers. Monisha (Mo) has been with one of my dementia residents for over a year. When she is a sitter, Mo brings the resident out of the room to engage in activities. Very attentive with so much compassion. Not only is my resident very social, but she is also very interactive when Mo brings her out of her room to enjoy others company. Meals, snacks and nibbles are always given when Mo is sitting. This is an incomplete, but honest review of Vickie's Helping Hand. I called Ms. Vickie today to discuss assistance for my elderly grandmother. Vickie, patiently and clearly stated the mission of her company and the commitment they have in upholding it for every client they serve. Vickie's understanding of my family's anxiety concerning our elderly grandparent was much appreciated. She validated our concerns and encouraged transparency in all ways. We haven't hired Helping Hands yet, but based on my conversation with Vickie today, we are definitely likely to do so very soon. read more

Vickie and her team are WONDERFUL. They helped care for my late grandmother in her final months. I'll never forget that day: her room was full of love, prayer, and song - an atmosphere fostered with their help! These ladies offered more than their knowledge of care, they were there for our family in an emotional sense. They prayed with us, comforted our fears, and held our hands as well as Ma's through our grief. I cannot emphasize enough how much relief my family felt the moment one of them would enter the home. I cannot recommend Vickie and her team enough. Nancy, Dianne, and others (I'm awful with names!) became so cherished to us so quickly. If we could give Vickies Helping Hands 10 stars we would. We followed a trusted referral to Vickie's when it was time for in home care for my mom and dad - at the same time. Vickie and her caregivers were sent by God to my family. They care and are top notch. With all the needs/schedule changes with me arranging so much from California and dealing with family on the ground they were nothing less than heroic and professional. The caregivers became family and knowing they were there as I had to fly back and forth from CA gave me peace. They go above and beyond and just ask Vickie, I am ON TOP of my parents care and picky as can be. When my mom had one last big event at my sisters wedding in June, Keisha was there with is making it all happen. She was also with us when my mom passed a few weeks ago until her last breath. I truly think one of the people my mama was waiting for was Kayla to show up the morning she past. They were besties. They were there when my dad had to make the transition to memory care - came with us to pick him up for the funeral and stay with him all night after. THAT kind of care. They were at the funeral and burial. Vickie, Keisha, Kayla, Neke... along with Vickie's supoort staff.... all of them. Family.
