I have been back on several occasions since, having picked up a singing bowl and a really cool heart-shaped stone that reveals its secret under ultra-violet light. I like it as a reminder as to what lies beneath the surface of things and that sometimes, changing light frequency can reveal the beauty that was previously hidden. But a review wouldn't be complete without mentioning the staff; helpful, attentive, and courteous. They didn't try to sell me on anything, but rather they listened to what I was saying and lead me to areas of the store that they thought would provide what I asked for. But in the end, I was the one who found the exact item(s) I wanted. Months later, I am as happy if not happier with the purchases I have made. I look forward to going back.

They have the shop set up in sections, candles, oils, incense, crystals, Tarot cards, children's section. It's clean organized and shoppable. They have readers on a daily basis. It resonated with me and he has a unique and honest way of delivering such messages. The ladies at the front are friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. We shopped for two hours and left with beautiful finds. My daughter bought a beautiful aqua phase ring. Thank you ladies and Ricardo for such a wonderful experience. We will be back again.

There are some lights in the waiting room. A sign says to enter quietly and wait to be attended to. I waited for 30 minutes and no one came to see me, I think only one lady works there. I heard them talking in a closed room. I peeked my head around the corner and didn't see any place to go to get to the crystals. I was looking around the lobby and saw a calendar/white board that had some notes on it and there was a message saying that open shopping is only during select hours depending on the day I wish there was some clearer information on when you can get these items. There's no where on the website or Yelp that states this and I tried to call multiple times during the day to get more information before I went and no one picked up. I don't know how their cleansing services and meditation work is but long story short, if you're going for sage, you may be too late

Whether you just like dead bugs and pretty rocks or you are metaphysical, from fossils and geodes to pendulums, palo santo and smudging spray, there is something for you. The shops open Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year except when the State Fair takes over the Education Building. I have been going to Vintagearth for about 3 years and Pete treats everyone like family and the vibe is genuine and fun. Whether you're clueless or well-learned, you'll still fit in and be welcomed! I was then pressured to pay $200 for a "curse removal." As a single mom barely making it, this felt insensitive and exploitative. Instead of feeling supported or spiritually guided, I felt targeted and pressured to spend money out of fear. I believe spiritual services should empower people, not scare them into paying for expensive add-ons. This experience did not feel ethical or supportive, and I would not recommend to anyone. I used to live in CT and would drive hours to get to my favorite gems and mineral shop. Since living in NC, it's quite dangerous that there are 3 of these shops all within a 40 minute drive. I love Minerology because there are quite a few pieces that are reasonably priced. I highly recommend visiting Minerology if you're into metaphysical stuff (crystals, necklaces, selenite plates) because they're much cheaper than going to an actual spiritual shop. The other amazing thing about Minerology is that they have a rewards program that quickly adds up in points. I want to say that it's a 10% rewards program, so for every $100 you spend, you earn $10 in rewards which is great. The staff at every location are very friendly and helpful. I've not had a single issue at any of the stores and truly love looking at all of the beautiful pieces. This location in particular is smaller than the other location I've been to (still have the third to visit). However, it's beautifully decorated inside and I love that there is a sliding ladder for employees to climb to get items that are high up. This store has a great collection of fossils, too.
