Maura missed my call, and did not call back until the late evening that day. She did not take down my info, and did not provide her email. Instead, she asked me to use the email link on her website so that she could email me the intake forms. The link did not work, and I attempted to contact her about the issue, but had no response. On the morning of my appointment, I got a text from her asking for the email. if she can text me, I assume she has the technological capability to take down my email and send me my forms myself. she finally sent me the email, which was very informal. we had discussed payment previously, and was left with the impression that I could pay with a debit card. the acupuncture was fine. I have had multiple practitioners, and she's competent. but, she was very cold, adrupt, and unwelcoming. after the session, she told me to leave the money or check in the bowl, and I apologized for the misunderstanding. I went to find cash, which took about 10 minutes due to the location of the nearest ATM. afterwards, I gave her the cash, and she was upset with me for keeping her so late, and said I needed to read better.
