Still a fun & great studio to take spin class at! Took a class here some years that was an intense workout. Good to know that that hasn't changed. Today's visit was just as challenging and fun! Tiffany was our instructor and she kept us going. She had great energy, pushed us when we needed it and kept the class fun. She along with other employee's were very helpful. So there's no need to be shy if you need help getting your bike adjusted or getting into your secured cubby (in case you forget the combination you have it). Love the thoughtfulness & consideration they put into the toiletries provided in their two restrooms. You have plenty of room along w/a stool in both of you need to change. One thing I noticed different was the addition of a smoothie bar. Not sure when it was added but definitely appreciated. Always great to have a a nutritious option available post workout. I'm hoping that they add more signage inside the garage for Vibe Ride. It can be a bit hard finding them if you've never been. Btw, their back entrance is tucked in where you can't see it. But it's located near Marlow's & Evolation Yoga.

I love this place...exactly what I was searching for!!!! Staff is amazing...classes are great...prices are reasonable and not overcrowded My only gripe is I wish they had classes during the day around lunch time.

I had the most amazing time experiencing a spin class at this establishment. I was invited to a charity ride on a Tuesday evening. The cost of the class is typically $20, however since it was a special event we only paid $10. The class was scheduled to started at 8:15pm, however- we did get a late start. They did ensure that we still had a full 45 minute class. In regards to the service, it actually started from the time I booked the class. They sent me an email confirmation along with a reminder the day prior to my class. The email with the reminder included great information such as an informational video, the parking garage, the special shoes etc. Upon my arrival I was greeted by the owner who engaged in a conversation with me about my experience with spin. She also gave me a pair of shoes and directed me to the hallway area to place my items in either a cube or a locker. As I waited for the class to start, the other patrons were generally friendly. A class was ending and it was clear by all of the sweat that they had a good workout. In entering the main studio with the bikes, the owner personally assisted me with achieving the perfect height of my seat and bars as well as showing me how to get into and out of the brackets for the shoes. When everyone was ready to go; the lights were dimmed and the fun commenced! The instructor was a male (I forgot his name). He was very upbeat, and motivational. He would jump off his bike and encourage you to go faster durrig the workout. In regards to this, my only suggestion is to have a quick run down of what the hand gestures and sayings mean. I am not sure that I was always on the correct resistance because i could not hear his commands over the music. A possible resolution is for the instructor to wear a Mic that can be heard over the music. The class lasted a total of 45 minutes and coming from a person that DREADS cardio- the time flew by! The music played was very current and accompanied by videos displayed on a crystal clear television. To top a great experience off, they sent me a follow up email. The email provided data about my specific workout. I burned almost 500 calories in 45 minutes and rode a total of 8 miles! I will say that I was also keeping track of my workout on my Fitbit- and it calculated 100 calories less than reported in the email. Another suggestion is to incorporate heart monitors into the process. Prior to checking out Vibe Ride, I would tell everyone that I HATE spin class. Thanks for changing my opinion and having me looking forward to my next ride!!

Unfortunately, since I moved and am now a broke graduate student, I haven't had the time to consistently keep up with a studio. I've tried several studios around ATL and since Rukus was opening up a new studio near where I worked, I figured I would stop by during their grand opening. **They are offering classes for free this weekend and if you download their app, you can get an additional 4 classes for free!** Although the studio is located in Midtown, there is a parking garage behind the studio. A worker from the studio texted me the code for free parking a couple of hours before my class (you get an hour and half for free- plenty of time to get in and out). The studio is very clean and bright inside. They don't have locker rooms here, but instead have individual bathrooms with showers inside! The bathrooms are fully stocked with deodorant, razors, and even toothbrushes for you to use! They also provide free shoes for you to use as well. The shoes do run a little small - I had to get a full size up. Unfortunately, the shoes I usually use to cycle didn't work here so I had to borrow one of their shoes. I use a different clip-in system than Rukus does and couldn't get my shoes to clip-in. My clip-ins are a little old though, so I think I'll try again when I switch them out . Plus, thinking back, I think I was trying to clip them in the wrong side of the pedal, oops. Also, a very cool thing about this studio is that they have a separate (smaller) rooms with a couple of bikes. Apparently, if you come to class late, you can enter this room and either take a class through Peleton or join in on the current class through a live-feed. I thought this was very cool as there's nothing worse than showing up late and setting up your bike during class. I can easily see myself coming back to Rukus as it's close to my workplace (and I have 4 more rides to use -yay), but there are a couple of things that I didn't like. I think my bike was malfunctioning because the screen would randomly flash during class and it took a while for the gear number to change after I moved the gear knob. Also, the gear number would randomly change even if I didn't touch the knob - not sure what was up with that. The music was very loud so it made listening to the instructor very difficult. I do enjoy loud music when I cycle, but if I can't really hear the instructor, it kind of takes away from the experience. The instructor didn't really explain how the different zones worked on the television screen. I noticed how the colors next to your name changed at certain times while I was biking, but I didn't know why until I got my stats e-mailed to me after class. There wasn't an option to book a certain bike number on the app either and the bike is assigned to you after you check-in. I'm not sure if it's just the app that doesn't let you choose the bike as I haven't tried to book a bike on the website yet. Overall, there are a couple of kinks that need to be worked out (especially the instructor's microphone), but I would definitely come back soon!

WOW- talk about a workout!!…read more A friend had been trying to get me to join her for a sweat cycle class for some time. I basically told her the concept of cycling in a hot room sounds like torture to me!! However, I finally gave in and joined her for a Saturday morning class. Let's first talk about the location. The business is located inside of The Forum Athletic Club. The athletic club is located near the beauty school Elaine Sterling Institute and the Atlanta Police Department at Lenox mall. This should help you with actually getting to this spot. They have ample parking in the garage that is free. When you walk into the gym you need to follow the signs for sweat cycle. You are immediately greeted by the front desk staff and signed in. I was given the opportunity to pick my bike location and given a part of cycle shoes. NOTE: cycle shoes are required. You can not ride in your tennis shoes. Since this was my first class the instructor assisted me with sitting my bike up correctly. She measured the seat to my hip height and the handle bar against my arm reach. She also helped me lock the shoes in and gave me instructions on how to use the bike resistance and the various stances that will be called pit furring the classes the instructor advised that she recently had a baby so she would be on and off the bike, and likely off more. I can understand and respect that. The class started with a warm up and then the fun started. When I tell you this was 45 minutes of detoxification and cardio at the same time!! You basically get out of this class what you put in. If you go in and push yourself you will burn a ton of calories. I highly recommend coming hydrated and drinking water throughout the class! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone that loves to cycle and wants to challenge themselves by doing it in a heated room! I look forward to my next class, maybe I will see you thee!

There are quite a few locations around Atlanta as OTF has become a very popular workout franchise. This specific location in Midtown has a parking deck for free parking.
