History
Established in 2020.
Opened in late 2020, Viamonte at Walnut Creek is the newest Life Plan Community from Sequoia Living, a Bay Area nonprofit founded in 1958 and dedicated to healthy aging, lifelong growth, and community. While newly built, Viamonte reflects more than six decades of experience creating welcoming communities for older adults.
Set within The Orchards, a vibrant mixed-use neighborhood just minutes from downtown Walnut Creek, Viamonte offers a distinctive blend of modern living, natural beauty, and connection. The community brings together the energy of nearby shopping and dining with the calm of adjacent parklands shaded by mature live oaks. It is also LEED Gold Certified, reflecting a commitment to sustainability and forward-thinking design.
From the beginning, Viamonte has offered residents a fresh approach to retirement living rooted in independence, wellness, and community, with the peace of mind of a continuum of care in one of the East Bay's most dynamic settings.
