This cafe was right next to the language school I was studying at and I went there at the start of my course almost daily to buy coffees for myself and several class members due to the convenience. I will never be going back. The owner, as other reviewers have mentioned, is extremely rude and seems to be perpetually having a bad day. He gives the impression that he hates his customers. Every day he would criticize me for something: taking the wrong lid, standing in the wrong place while waiting for the coffee, or something else along those lines, and literally shout at me about it.
After being a daily customer there for a couple of weeks (it was just so convenient) I was in there buying coffees for myself and a classmate. I counted out the change and found myself 10 cents short. I asked him if he accepted cards and he told me no. I said, ah ok, I'm 10 cents short. Rather than offering for me to pay him the next day, he told me, 'get out then! Go somewhere else, If you don't have the money, leave me alone!'
The final straw was when one of my classmates absentmindedly took a puff of her electronic cigarette while in there buying a coffee. He told her to stop and she immediately apologized and stopped doing it. The next day we went back and he started shouting at her about Her rudeness and disrespect and told us never to set foot in his cafe again. It was quite shocking given that we were regular loyal and paying customers and had always tried to be friendly to him and wished him a good day.
The coffee is fine, the food selection is limited and poor, and there are never any customers in here, for a reason. Please, go to cafe 93 just a minute away and avoid this unpleasant man! read more
