Let me tell ya about Q…read more... Obviously 5 stars means a great experience. OG is pretty good for consistency, but today was noticeably better. The decor is classic OG. We got a table quickly. Food came out fast, especially for a Saturday lunch hour. The difference is in the service. Our server today was Q. I made a joke he knows everything but later realized he probably wasn't old enough to get the joke. He played along graciously. Q had everything so that the appetizers were about finished, then comes the entree, etc. There was no awkward wait or downtime. Q kept an eye on all his customers and did his job WELL! I understand people don't tip since servers are getting paid more these days but this is likely the best service I've had in that OG within the last decade. I tipped him a little extra. As we were leaving, he caught me and asked if I meant to tip him that much. I understand it was high even by older standards. Whether it was because I do look a bit older or simple honesty, it was honesty. This was the cherry on top. "Diligent worker taking care of customer service and looking out for his customers with excellent manners and skills" sounds like someone who should be promoted but I kinda hope not.
