Favorite Italian place in Longview. The pizza is great for the price! The service is always awesome. Love the atmosphere of the restaurant, it can be casual or more fancy, it has a great mix. We've tried the cheese pizza and the margarita pizza, both great. I've tried the cheese raviolis and Alfredo with fettuccine, both good as well. I love their Alfredo. They also give you fresh bread and when it's warm is delicious. On weekdays you can also get some pastas in a lunch size for about half price! Really nice Italian restaurant in the downtown area. It has a nice ambiance and is a great place for date nights or even family gatherings. The food is quite good. They have interesting table side offerings that are fun to watch and they are quite tasty. Service is really good and good comes out in a reasonable time, depending on how full it is.... Some times, the wait is longer but it's pretty full when that happens. We've tried several dishes and have loved them all. Hubby loves their Hawaiian pizza a lot. Their bread knots are so good!!! I came into town for a work trip and was looking for a good place to eat. This restaurant came up and seemed like a solid option--definitely a step above something like Olive Garden, with a more upscale feel. Unfortunately, my experience took a negative turn almost immediately. An employee named Casey caught my attention--not in a good way. He was having a loud and inappropriate conversation with a woman who was clearly pregnant, sharing strong personal opinions about pregnant women that felt judgmental and completely out of line. It was uncomfortable to witness. I considered stepping in, but it wasn't my place. To her credit, the woman handled herself with composure and didn't escalate the situation, which I respected. What was most disappointing, though, was that no manager intervened. Situations like that should be addressed immediately, especially in a professional dining environment. Because of this experience, I won't be returning. I hope management takes situations like this more seriously in the future. read more

We ordered a giant pizza, half Florentine and half Margerite. The spinach was watery and made the crust soggy and the restaurant ran out of Basil. Instead of telling us, they sent the pizza to the table with no Basil. Carla asked the cook what happened, it was no accident, they knew the pizza wasn't right and sent it anyway. The flavors were good, but the decision to send incomplete pizza ruined it for me. We will be going to Annacona's instead. read more

Oh my goodness! This food was sooo delicious, I'm a big Italian food lover and this did not disappoint. It's hard to find eggplant rolatini on a menu, so I was super excited to order it here and it was amazing! I asked for vodka sauce on my pasta on the side and that was so good as well. There are only two Italian places I go to in the area...this is one of them. They are definitely a great place. I usually get the Crawfish Dama Bianca (not actually on the menu,) but they will make it. It is fabulous. I have also had their lasagna, as well as their marsala. This place is very hit or miss. My usual order is just a caesar salad with the fried chicken cutlet instead of grilled. Today I decided to venture out and order the appetizer ahi tuna which comes with a bed of mixed veggies. This looks like it was warmed up in a microwave IN the to go container. I know it's not true because it's metal, but that's what it looks like. Every time I've eaten ahi tuna anywhere it has been seared and is light colored around the edges and almost raw looking in the middle. To say this is well done is an understatement. I will go back to this establishment, but I will never make the mistake of ordering this again. I'm not even sure what they mean for it to be, but it misses the mark bigtime. read more

Patrons are greeted with beautiful, live piano music upon entering this gorgeous restaurant. The menu is extensive with lots and lots of options. We started with the calamari which was crispy and light with a delicious marinara. The bread is fluffy and tender and is served with an olive oil dipping sauce. I had the combo pasta which has scallops, chicken, and shrimp and pink sauce. I did not care for the pink sauce, but others in my party really enjoyed it. My son had the cheese pizza and I tasted that. It was very good! I also had a lemon drop martini that was the perfect balance of tart and sweet. Our service was excellent! read more

You know what really frustrates me about this restaurant? They show moments where they have the capacity to be great. Their stuffed mushrooms and chicken cacciatore are both fantastic, and really show the depth of their cooking. Both of them deserve 5 star ratings. Where they fall short is the simple dishes, like their fettuccine alfredo and their spaghetti with meatballs. The last time I got spaghetti with meatballs from them, the sauce had a very canned taste to it, and the meatballs had almost no flavor. In my opinion, they should take the basic dishes off the menu and just serve the stuffed mushrooms with fettuccine. That kind of dish would be the talk of the town. Also, they charge more to use a credit/debit card. That bothers me for any restaurant. This is not a gas station. It's an Italian restaurant. The great chef Marco Pierre White still says to this day, that "to be a good chef, all you've got to do is lots of little things well." It concerns me that in the finer details of making the food, Roma's is not paying attention. read more

My friend and I visited this beautiful restaurant for the first time last night and it was the best italian food that I have had in a very long time! Our waitress, India, took great care of us and was very attentive to our needs. The bread was fresh and hot, their small pizzas have very generous portions, and their healthier options were very yummy! Delicious Italian food. I asked the server if the lasagna was any good and the answer I got was "I don't eat what I can make so I don't know." You think that was helpful? I didn't but I ordered it anyway and it was delicious. Just a tad greasy but it was hit and a good portion. Hubby had the veal, eggplant noodle dish and there were no complaints across the table.
