The soda selection is quite limited (Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, a pink lemonade and unknown sodas. The situation wasn't helped by the fact that the machine's ice dispenser was broken on a hot evening. We chose to sit outside to enjoy our meal at one of the super long picnic tables. Each probably sits 12+ patrons comfortably. Great area for kids to run around nearby so as you would assume, lots of young families. It seems to be a great meeting place for families & groups. The biggest downside to our dining experience was the outside trash can. Patrons cleaned up after themselves & the trash can was overflowing. I chose to go inside to throw our trash away and to inform staff of the trash situation. (No need having all that trash near your tables & front door) The staff informed me "we don't touch that. That's the City of Kyle's responsibility. They pick up on Saturday nights." Unfortunate that my visit was 6pm on a Saturday night. I can only imagine how messy the entire area will be by 9pm. I hope that the owners and management can figure out a way to handle this issue since the majority of the trash I saw inside & outside of the trash can was from their patrons.

Immediately we were greeted and the vibe was chill and super welcoming! Not to mention great music! Classics! I felt a bit stirred with what happened at Patrón pizza, so I lightly shared what happened. The lady taking my order wished me a better rest of my day, and was happy we were there :) So After we ordered and got our food, the manager (I assume) walked over to us, and said he was sorry about our experience at the other place. And all in good humor made us smile and giggle :) we were given coupons, and he said to come back to Tony's, they'd be happy to serve us again! My kiddos and I were acknowledged, seen, and loved on. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and happy to answer the questions we had about the menu. I ordered the Chicken Florentine Pasta, which came with a choice of soup or salad. They didn't have honey mustard dressing , so I decided to try the soup instead--and I'm really glad I did. It was absolutely delicious. It had so much flavor with just the right amount of heat, and honestly, it was one of the best surprises of the meal. And honestly, if it had been, the only thing I had had for my dinner, I would've been completely satisfied. The rest of the table ordered the Pesto Perfecto with Canadian bacon, chicken tenders and fries, and a kids' pepperoni pizza. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The Alfredo sauce on my pasta tasted homemade, and the pasta portion was generous. There wasn't a lot of chicken in the dish, but I've noticed that seems to be pretty common lately when eating out. Even so, the pasta itself was flavorful and very satisfying. The bread that came with my meal wasn't my favorite--it was dense and chewy. But I tried a bite of my son's pepperoni pizza and would absolutely come back just for that. The crust was light and crispy, and it had a generous amount of cheese and pepperoni. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was great, and we'll definitely be back.

The Alfredo pasta is creamy; however, there is no flavor. The chicken was bland and covered in the tasteless sauce. The vodka pasta did not do any better and was tasteless as well. The shrimp had an overpowering fishy flavor that ruined the pasta. The scenery is calm and nice and has both male and female bathrooms. As for the service as I believe the waiter was new and learning. Because of the tiny mistakes she made. Never put in an appetizer order, gave us the wrong drink, didn't provide napkins the entire dinner. The restaurant was rated 4 stars on google however I would not recommend my friends and family to go there based on my experience.

Via 313 Pizza is known for bringing authentic Detroit-style square pizza to Kyle, and it's easy to understand why this spot has earned national recognition with accolades from Food & Wine, Pizza Today, and Food Network. I stopped in for dinner with my mom and had a short wait before being seated in the dining area. It was crowded with lots of patrons and the restaurant was comfortable. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall experience was relaxed. I started with the Arugula salad made with arugula and baby spinach with shallot, orange zest, pecans, and lemon Dijon vinaigrette. The combination was fresh, citrusy, and nicely balanced. Addition of goat cheese for an upcharge was an option. I did ask to add mozzarella, but unfortunately that request wasn't accommodated. I added some grated Parmesan cheese from the table and black pepper. For pizza, we split The Omnivore, loaded with natural-casing pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onion, and green pepper. I customized it by removing the onion and bell pepper from half and adding olives to that half. The pizza had the signature Detroit-style character I was hoping for, a substantial, crispy-edged crust with plenty of toppings and marinara on top and that satisfying contrast between crunchy edges and a softer center. One ordering detail was a little frustrating. I felt like there was a lot of nickel and diming with various upcharges. For example, I was charged for adding a topping even though ingredients were being removed from part of the pizza. Also adding cheese to my salad was an upcharge even though I feel the price point for the salad was sufficient to include cheese. It wasn't a major issue, but something worth clarifying when ordering if you're making customizations. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. The food came out with minimal wait, the staff was friendly, and the Detroit-style square pizza delivered the hearty, indulgent experience Via 313 is known for. read more

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Via 313 that I cannot recommend to anyone. I ordered a pizza for take-out at 3:50 pm, and I was told that it would be ready by 4:20 pm. However, my hopes were shattered when I ended up waiting for over an hour with absolutely no updates or communication from the staff. To make matters worse, not only did they fail to deliver my pizza within the promised time frame, but they also neglected to inform me of any delays or issues. It was as if my order had been completely forgotten or ignored. I started to lose hope, feeling frustrated and hungry. Finally, at 5:18 pm, I received an update. However, by this point, the delay had become unacceptable, and I had already decided to give up and leave the establishment without ever receiving the pizza I had ordered. read more

I've been coming here for both lunch specials and dinner, and it never disappoints. The lunch specials are amazing, great value and always fresh. The pizza is consistently tasty, crusty, and delicious, exactly what Detroit-style pizza should be. But what really makes this place stand out is the service. The staff is always friendly, but Samuel takes it to another level. He's the definition of a great server, always positive, attentive, and professional. Even when he's the only one handling the floor, he still brings top-notch service with a smile. Via 313 Pizza needs more people like Samuel. His energy and dedication make every visit even better. Overall, always a great experience every time I stop by! read more

We recently visited the new Via 313 location in Kyle, TX and we were not disappointed! The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was fun. We started with the meatballs with marinara, which were so tender and flavorful. The arugula salad with goat cheese was the perfect light starter. The Detroit style herbivore pizza was our favorite, with its crispy crust and gooey cheese. The bar style funkadelic chicken pizza was also delicious, and the Superman ice cream was the perfect way to end our meal. We will definitely be back! read more
