It's hard to find service providers that aren't out to grab as much of a veteran's benefits as they can. I had an issue that required some customer service, and it drug out far longer than necessary. However, when the problem reached the attention of the director, she went the extra mile to make it right, and I was satisfied with results. I've been a Veterans Service Officer for about 10 years, and I can count on one hand how many of these companies I would recommend to the veterans I work with--I'll be adding this one to that very short list.

On top of that, if you have been seen at the VA, he insists that you be seen by a VA psychiatrist first in case you need more care (bc he keeps reiterating "in case you need a higher level of care"). HOWEVER, you need NOT be enrolled in the VA Healthcare system to be seen at the Vet Center. There are many reasons why veterans opt to go to the Vet Center versus the VA. This shows a lack of insight, care, empathy, and knowledge of VA policy. This site has been reported to the district director. And if I could give it zero stars, I would. I don't know how anyone would trust this Center higher-up's decision-making skills or skills at this point.

Last weekend I had a huge yard sale for my son & DIL because they are moving & their HOA did not…read moreallow them to have a moving sale, so we had it at my house! They made over $1K just with little things!! But we still had a bit leftover. One of my neighbors told me about HelpVets.com so I went on their website & scheduled the pick up for the next day. By 8:15am the truck pulled up & took about 10 boxes & a lot of other things including clothes. The young man who picked everything up was very polite & friendly!! I was sooo happy that we didn't have to load up all this stuff to drop it off somewhere!! I immediately let all my close friends & neighbors know of this incredible service!! BUT the BEST part is that this helps "Vietnam Vets"!! My husband is a 20 yr vet, so veteranas are near & dear to our hearts!
