Amazing ambiance and great people! Drinks are nice too. Good enough space to hold small parties too.

My favorite post of all! Really friendly people and the coldest beer in town! It's always a treat to come here with my husband!

We've been to Shakespeare's Pub & Grille a few times now and have loved it every time! They're one…read moreof the only bars in San Diego that show F1 races, so they usually get a pretty good turnout of fans. It's nice to find that kind of community, especially when you want to watch a race with people who are just as into it as you are. We came for the final race of the season a while back, and they opened early for it, which was so awesome! It really has that British pub vibe, and I love it. We tried their breakfast that day and really enjoyed it. Recently, we decided to come back for their Sunday roast because TikTok convinced me I needed to try one, and I'm so glad we did because it was phenomenal! The price is great for the amount of food you get, too. The roast was tender and juicy, and I'd never tried a Yorkshire pudding before. I loved the crispy yet chewy texture! The veggies were fresh, and the potatoes came mashed and crispy, both seasoned perfectly. The savory gravy tied everything together. We also got the fish and chips, which came in a good-sized portion with fresh fries. The onion rings were battered rather than breaded, which is my favorite, and these were thick, crispy, and came with a really good ranch dressing. Even the Caesar salad was surprisingly fresh for a pub! The service has also been great every time we've visited, even when the place is packed. Shakespeare's is such a good spot for food and drinks, but honestly, it's also one of my favorite places to catch an F1 race. Between the food, the atmosphere, and the community, it's definitely a spot I'd recommend checking out!

I hate leaving questionable reviews.. but also feel when we researched places we didn't get an accurate story. This is a true neighborhood pub.. the place you come so everybody knows your name. Which I love and can appreciate. But as an outsider it was kinda chaotic instead. A bartender came to clean a table for us. The largest grossest bugger hanging out of his nose, he had sweat marks so large there was no need to lift his arms to see them. He proceeded then to do shots at the bar with costumers. Which again... I totally can appreciate having a good time in a good neighborhood pub. The floors were so dirty around the booths. The menus dirty. Just over all couldn't stay and eat here. Did get some good laughs watching a few very inebriated customers, had some good drinks and went on our way. We personally wouldn't come back, but again if you live in the neighborhood and it's just that place you come to for your hang with friends, it's looks like it's a fun place.

But the hospitality is what made this place special to us from the beginning. For us, that started with Frank. He's since moved on to other CH Projects, but we still remember how welcome he made us feel. Our experience with him at Neighborhood was really the beginning of us falling in love with CH Projects as a whole. When I think about why we keep coming back, people like Frank are a huge part of that. And the food has stayed so consistently good. The Hood Burger, bone marrow, bolognese, burrata, pierogies, bloomin' onion... at this point, I'm practically listing the menu. In all the years we've been coming here, I honestly can't think of a bad dish we've had. It's one of our favorite places to work into a night out because we know we're going to eat well and enjoy being there. On our latest visit, Drew reminded me of exactly how we felt when we first came here and met Frank. He was so kind, patient, and hospitable, and he made our experience every bit as memorable. Years later, getting that same level of care means a lot. While we were waiting for our food, I also noticed some guests being unnecessarily rude to the staff, especially Drew. He kept his composure and stayed professional throughout it, even when people weren't giving him the same respect he was giving them. That made me appreciate him even more and want to take the time to give him the recognition he deserves. Drew, thank you for taking such good care of us. I hope the people you work with know how much of an impression you leave on guests. The food and atmosphere give us plenty of reasons to come back, and people like you and Frank are what make Neighborhood top tier. Five stars, without hesitation.

From the spooky, dark, skulls old school ambiance and decor, to the experience of not ordering from a menu, everything about it made it feel unique and curated making it feel like a true individualized experience. As mentioned, there are no menus. We sat at the bar, the bartender makes casual conversation with you regarding the types of drinks you enjoy. He curated something for both my husband and I based on what we shared we enjoyed. The drinks were delicious. The entry was very cool! It felt as if you were entering a hidden spot - which you do. When you enter the restaurant, you let the hostess know you're there for the Noble Experience. She let us know to head to the wall with the kegs (which is actually a door). You enter and there's a small waiting area where you're greeted by another hostess. This place is a 20/10. We can't wait to return on our next visit to SD.

I would definitely recommend parking around Corner Bakery or near 24 Hour Fitness for the closest way in. This was my very first time going to Raised by Wolves. I made a reservation on OpenTable, and if you are reading this right now, I highly recommend booking one. When we got there, the wait was two hours for people without a reservation. I booked for 9 PM on a Saturday night with my friends after dinner. We actually arrived at UTC earlier than expected, so we let the host know and they let us in about 20 minutes early. As for parking, they do not validate here. Parking is free for the first hour and then two dollars per hour after that, so just be aware that you may end up paying for parking when you visit this bar. It is set up like a speakeasy, which is really cool. You get to see where the actual bar is hidden. We ended up ordering a bunch of cocktails and the drinks were super great. I really loved the vibe overall. It was lively and chatty, and the staff was super friendly. The ambiance is very dark and classy. Keep in mind they do not serve food here. It is purely drinks only. Overall, I would definitely recommend stopping by.

You can essentially sit wherever, but the bar is the best seat in the house IMO. The scenery was cool and had the prohibition era feel to it, however the music was current and WAY TOO loud. There is nothing more annoying to have to shout to the person sitting over the next barstool for a conversation. So there's that. We ordered the Island Old Fashioned, which sounded interesting, but...alittle disappointed. I wanted to order another cocktail, but we had dinner reservations. The bartender(s) barely spoke and if they did, we wouldn't have been able to hear them, you know, because of the loud music. Maybe we'll come again for other cocktails when we visit San Diego again. Until then, RBW is a "check off the list" kind of thing.
