Became a big fan of Guinness after a trip to Ireland but the cans I was getting from the grocery store weren't cutting it for me. The location is a bit random and I've probably passed this place a hundred times without realizing it, but it's a great place to get good, cheap alcohol. The Guinness is poured correctly, the music is a vibe, and they have a live band weekly that is definitely a lot of fun. It can get rowdy, so if that's not your scene, maybe just grab one drink. Bartender is pretty cool too, but it's nice that he'll leave you alone if he can tell you're not into conversation.

Like if this place needs my review ... one can judge the place from its cover. At least in San Diego! If you aren't sure whether gaslamp came first or the Blarney, welcome to my think tank. To help you narrow down the search to a fine Irish pub that hosts The Fooks, this is the place.

Betsy the bartender is amazing... not only gorgeous but attentive and hard working. The prices are great and the drinks are strong. Would highly recomend!!

Great little hole in the wall bar that you'd never find unless you know the area or Google "bars near me" while at Target. Of course, my reason is the latter pleasantly surprised to find this place. AMI too. If you know, you know

    Shenanigans.

Ask the Community - Blarney Stone Pub

Can i bring out food? Can i reserve a table?

Hello, we definitely welcome outside food, we do not serve food. Depending on how big your party is and what other events we might have going on, we are occasionally open to setting aside tables for larger groups. I would just call ahead of time.

We had a house full of 12 people who came over for a BBQ and then went to see a great Irish band called The Fooks.

FOOD: yum SERVICE: great PRICE: fair AMBIANCE: chill but parking sucks I wouldn't think a corner bar on top of Bay Hill would be vibe but it seems so with the neighborhood folks. Area is great. Parking is minimal, park on the street or across in the shopping parking lot. They have Taco Tuesdays. They have trivia nights on Wednesdays. It's family and dog friendly. And on any day it's always packed with people. Taverns usually have amazing bar food. They have amazing bar food but also different! Brunch, sandwiches, burgers, pizza, tacos, plate dishes, etc etc! WORKING CLASS CAULIFLOWER ($14) - Crispy cauliflower tossed in sweet & spicy sauce, sesame seeds & green onions, side of white rice. This was a feature and a popular dish here so I had to try it. I loved how I could keep eating this without feeling sluggish after a big meal. The cauliflower were chopped in bite size pieces, fried with a batter, and glazed with a flavor similar to a mix of sweet and sour + orange chicken but not. Kind of also reminded me of Gobi Manchurian but again not. Overall, it was a delicious meal and something I'd def order again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND There's so much more on the menu to tackle and I can't wait to put this in the rotations. Until the next bite...

Shannon in particular went above and beyond for our table - constantly checking in without hovering, making spot‑on recommendations, and bringing this amazing upbeat energy that made the brunch feel special. She anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which is rare and really appreciated. The food and drinks were excellent, with a solid selection of beers and cocktails and a menu that hits all the comfort‑food favorites while still feeling a step above typical bar food. It's the kind of place that works just as well for a casual hang with friends as it does for a low‑key date night. I'll definitely be back soon and will be asking for Shannon again!

I also noticed they offer a complimentary entrée on the Thursday of your birthday week, which honestly made it the perfect excuse to go. There's a ton of seating options here. I ordered: * Steak & Shrimp: this came over mashed potatoes with a side of spinach. The steak was huge, cooked perfectly, and seasoned really well. Everything on the plate was delicious. We hung out by the fireplace, had some drinks, and just enjoyed the vibe. They also run great weekly specials. I believe Tuesdays are buy one burger, get one free, and Thursdays they have $7 smashburgers that looked massive when I walked by. Overall, this place has a really fun, welcoming energy. My friend from Scotland tried the Guinness and approved, which says a lot. It's surprisingly hard to find a good Guinness in the States, and they nailed it here. Definitely will be back.

I hate leaving questionable reviews.. but also feel when we researched places we didn't get an accurate story. This is a true neighborhood pub.. the place you come so everybody knows your name. Which I love and can appreciate. But as an outsider it was kinda chaotic instead. A bartender came to clean a table for us. The largest grossest bugger hanging out of his nose, he had sweat marks so large there was no need to lift his arms to see them. He proceeded then to do shots at the bar with costumers. Which again... I totally can appreciate having a good time in a good neighborhood pub. The floors were so dirty around the booths. The menus dirty. Just over all couldn't stay and eat here. Did get some good laughs watching a few very inebriated customers, had some good drinks and went on our way. We personally wouldn't come back, but again if you live in the neighborhood and it's just that place you come to for your hang with friends, it's looks like it's a fun place.
