Unfortunately with budget cuts the selection of classes is limited in certain departments or only offered once a year. Be sure to take advantage of the computer labs, writing center, math/science center, and tutors. They actually know what they're talking about and explain things pretty well. Personally I took time off from school and now ready to transfer have gotten into every class I need easily.

On the one hand its clear they have a need for more funding but on the other hand they also deserve a MASSIVE funding cut. The administration of Delta college is a bloated bureaucratic nightmare where the left hand has no clue what the right hand is doing. The admissions/ records office and especially the FA office is filled with rude, lazy staff that resort to their NPC response of "Oh we don't do that here". This is my first semester and already I've faced the potential of having to drop out do to zero support from the financial aid department. I've done everything required of me but getting them to lift a finger to take care of stuff on their end is like pulling teeth. I wondered if it was just me experiencing these issues but seeing their Yelp page confirms that its a systemic problem. Very disheartening. I write this review knowing nobody at the school in a position to make changes will read it so instead I write this as a warning to current and potential students. My best advice to potential students is document every correspondence with school employees, CC the director of the respective department you are contacting and follow up every few days.

After seeing the pictures here, I decided to cancel my reservation for the University Waterfront because this place seemed more secluded and they have the good brekkie, lol. The room I had was on the 1st floor, very convenient without having to wait for the elevator. It was clean and had no bed bugs that I could see, YAY for that alone! I was too afraid to try that ironing trick that's trending on TikTok and IG, so I didn't do it. If I can't see anything upon close inspection, I'll take it!! I woke up the next day feeling well rested and no bed bug bites, so double win there! Breakfast was good, but I think the pancake machine needs to be adjusted because the pancakes seemed a tad undercooked. They serve it daily from 6 to 9 am, so if you go towards the end, you likely will miss most of the good hot stuff. I didn't catch the bacon (if they had any), but I did get 1 sausage and left the other 2 behind. They still had 3 cheese egg omelets, but I didn't take one. Everything tasted great. The room was a comfortable size and the convenience of having the mini fridge and microwave always comes in handy. The bathtub was dated, but it serves its purpose. I like that they have Dove toiletries, including hand soap and lotion. I HATE those little bar soaps hotels usually have by the sink. I bring my own foaming hand soap but didn't have to this time. They also have a fitness center, laundry facilities and a swimming pool and jacuzzi. Parking is free, and there is plenty of it. Service was also great as Manuel took good care of me when I called in a few days ahead to see if I could check in earlier than the usual 3pm standard check in time. I didn't see him when I checked in, but I met him checking out. Cool guy, cool vibes, and I told him I would tell people to stay here, lol. The other 2 ladies I encountered the day I checked in were super nice as well. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express in Lodi if you're looking for a place to stay in the area. It's near shops and restaurants and didn't seem ghetto to me. It's like a level above Stockton area (or so I was told by a friend). I told Manuel I'd be back one day, so tune in for my next check in.. til then, don't take my Duchess title away, lol!

Blood on bed sheets I stayed here recently and I can't…read morerecommend for anyone to stay here. When I first arrived I was assigned a room with an A/C not working. After I reported the problem, I was assigned another room on the same floor. Everything seemed to be ok until the next morning when I noticed blood stains on the 2 sheets and the comforter. The blood stains where made by someone else and were not caught by the housekeeping dept. I reported the problem to the Front Desk. I gave enough detail information about the blood stains to the Front Desk attendant. She told me all the bedding would be changed. I also left a hand written note on the section of the bed where the stains were. When I came back in the after noon I noticed only one sheet had been changed leaving 2 other stained sheets. I went to talk to the (same) Front Desk female attendant she told me I needed to speak to the supervisor of the Housekeeping Dept. It turns out since my note was written in English, Housekeeping didn't know what the note said. What was irritating was that to only change one bed sheet, the other stained bedding had to have been noticed unless the person in Housekeeping was working in the dark with eyes closed to not have seen blood stains on the remaining bedding pieces. It all went back to the Front Desk clerk who did not follow through to ensure the supervisor of Housekeeping knew the extent of the problem since she did not speak English. I've written an email to Ivans to inform of what happened. However, I have not received an acknowledgement that my email was received. It would have been nice of the Front Desk clerk would've offered an apology for ruining my trip.

His show was about $40 which isn't bad given how expensive things are nowadays. Like most improv houses, there is a 2-item minimum and that can be either in the form of food or drink. I ordered a draft stella and their chips and guac. The drink was fine as expected but the food was pretty mediocre at best. I definitely do not recommend having dinner here unless you're really short on time. The show itself was fantastic. We were sitting in the upper balcony and seating is first-come, first-serve, and ended up right in the first row from above. No complaints here as we drank our drink and enjoyed the show. Parking can be tough but there are plenty of lots nearby that offer free parking for the first 90 minutes, so it doesn't add up to be too much.

The show started about 10 mins late. I got a seat on the top balcony and didn't have any issues viewing the speakers on stage or hearing them. What didn't work for me was the food. There was a two item minimum requirement. Though I didn't have an issue with the requirement in theory, what disappointed me was the quality of the food. The fried pickles were salt bombs, French fries were over salted as well, guac was missing salt completely while the tortilla chips were not full fried. The food distracted me from the going ons of the performance unfortunately. They need to take steps to improve.

The chile verde omelet was delicious, salsa is freshly made at the restaurant, and that make a big difference my fried chicken was delicious hash brown were so good everything was really fresh but... the pancakes were the best! I've been stalling on doing a review because I felt that the day that we went must've been an odd day off or when the regular cook wasn't there. When we arrived, there was only one other couple at the restaurants and only a couple came during the time that we were there. It was definitely a slow day or time. Since we were the only folks there ordering I asked for my hashbrowns to be crispy, and the Hubbs asked for no eggs and the server offered potatoes, which was very nice to offer the swap. Unfortunately, rather than just my hashbrowns being crispy, my eggs were well overdone as well as my pancakes. This left my pancakes, dry and flat rather than moist and fluffy and my eggs rubbery. I asked for salsa to help the overcooked eggs out, but they were still not good. The Hubbs enjoyed his breakfast, but said his gravy had no sausage flavor and were bland. He added pepper and ended up also sprinkling some hot sauce on them. Coffee is Farmers Brothers and tasted more like hot water with a hint of coffee flavor. I feel bad giving this review because the folks there were extremely nice and accommodating with our special requests. We learned that their specials were a hit and they're very busy so we'll have to give them another try. There's not much in the area and this place looks like it was a local favorite.
