My experience with the professors has been generally good but that is where the positive ends…read moresadly. On the one hand its clear they have a need for more funding but on the other hand they also deserve a MASSIVE funding cut. The administration of Delta college is a bloated bureaucratic nightmare where the left hand has no clue what the right hand is doing. The admissions/ records office and especially the FA office is filled with rude, lazy staff that resort to their NPC response of "Oh we don't do that here". This is my first semester and already I've faced the potential of having to drop out do to zero support from the financial aid department. I've done everything required of me but getting them to lift a finger to take care of stuff on their end is like pulling teeth. I wondered if it was just me experiencing these issues but seeing their Yelp page confirms that its a systemic problem. Very disheartening. I write this review knowing nobody at the school in a position to make changes will read it so instead I write this as a warning to current and potential students. My best advice to potential students is document every correspondence with school employees, CC the director of the respective department you are contacting and follow up every few days.

Starting classes here soon, just got out of HS. Already, I am frustrated with this school - I…read morethought the ride would be smooth, of course, except for a couple of bumps. But I sent like five emails, two forms, and opened the Live Chat more than 20+ times, and was denied any form of professional help, in fact, I was gaslit into feeling bad for the counselors. No response from them by the way, and this was way back in February. It's July. I wish I went to another college, honestly. I do not feel welcome. Counseling service and staff is NOT good - so Staff at SJ Delta, stop leaving fake reviews here... And I was told that I could have a Zoom call with a counselor for class registration, but when I took this to General Counseling, they said I could only go in person. Why the switch-up? Was told some of the teachers are good, so W teachers. But the counseling is absolutely horrid.

OMG ... looks like I did end up getting "Stuck in Lodi Again!" I thought I was on my way outta here…read moreand I get a message from my work I gotta stay a little longer. So, I check into the Holiday Inn Express here in Lodi. I usually always stay with IHG Holiday Inn Express cause I'm a platinum member with all my travel I do. I got a room no prob and checked in a little early even. My rewards points were posted to my account just fine. I don't know how long I'll be "stuck in Lodi again" ... hee hee just gotta sing that song! But this is a good place to be stuck. The room was clean and the WIFI worked just fine so I can do my work. Coffee is available 24/7 either in the lobby of there's a little coffee thing in the room. Each room comes with a little microwave and fridge to keep stuff like leftovers from meals. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of hot water pressure, for those really long hot showers, my little water tank at home can't give me! Breakfast is the same stuff and it's good and hot as it is at all Holiday Inn locations.

I was trying to decide between staying here or back at the University Plaza Waterfront (I have…read morestayed there once before) near the Stockton Arena. After seeing the pictures here, I decided to cancel my reservation for the University Waterfront because this place seemed more secluded and they have the good brekkie, lol. The room I had was on the 1st floor, very convenient without having to wait for the elevator. It was clean and had no bed bugs that I could see, YAY for that alone! I was too afraid to try that ironing trick that's trending on TikTok and IG, so I didn't do it. If I can't see anything upon close inspection, I'll take it!! I woke up the next day feeling well rested and no bed bug bites, so double win there! Breakfast was good, but I think the pancake machine needs to be adjusted because the pancakes seemed a tad undercooked. They serve it daily from 6 to 9 am, so if you go towards the end, you likely will miss most of the good hot stuff. I didn't catch the bacon (if they had any), but I did get 1 sausage and left the other 2 behind. They still had 3 cheese egg omelets, but I didn't take one. Everything tasted great. The room was a comfortable size and the convenience of having the mini fridge and microwave always comes in handy. The bathtub was dated, but it serves its purpose. I like that they have Dove toiletries, including hand soap and lotion. I HATE those little bar soaps hotels usually have by the sink. I bring my own foaming hand soap but didn't have to this time. They also have a fitness center, laundry facilities and a swimming pool and jacuzzi. Parking is free, and there is plenty of it. Service was also great as Manuel took good care of me when I called in a few days ahead to see if I could check in earlier than the usual 3pm standard check in time. I didn't see him when I checked in, but I met him checking out. Cool guy, cool vibes, and I told him I would tell people to stay here, lol. The other 2 ladies I encountered the day I checked in were super nice as well. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express in Lodi if you're looking for a place to stay in the area. It's near shops and restaurants and didn't seem ghetto to me. It's like a level above Stockton area (or so I was told by a friend). I told Manuel I'd be back one day, so tune in for my next check in.. til then, don't take my Duchess title away, lol!

A few coworkers and I come to Lone Tree Golf & Event Center quite often for birthday celebrations,…read moreand we always enjoy the food and service! This visit, we started with the appetizers and ordered the gyoza, imperial dumplings, and chicken lettuce cups. They were all great choices and made for a delicious start to the meal. For my entrée, I got the Champion's Burger. It was juicy, flavorful, and cooked well. I requested raw and grilled, and no tomato. Although my burger still came with tomato, it wasn't a big deal and I had no complaints. The burger itself was juicy and full of flavor, and definitely hit the spot. Overall, it was another enjoyable meal with good food, great company, and friendly service. Looking forward to coming back again for future celebrations

They are working through a big renovation project and the course is just not how you (and I) remember it. They've taken several holes out of service and replaced them with 90-100 yard par 3's. This has shortened the overall course by at least 400-500 yards. As part of this work, Hole #12 boasts the only perfectly rectangular green I have ever seen. The scorecard posted on their website doesn't show the temporary holes and my 18Birdies app was totally confused. The Lone Tree website doesn't say how much longer the work will be going, but it's going to be awhile.

My order: Ice tea with lemon. Denver omelette, country potatoes and a biscuit and gravy…read more ICE TEA: 1/10. No tea flavor at all and I think the lemon gave the water a bad taste, I stopped drinking it. They gladly replaced it with a delicious Pepsi(8/10). They also asked how I think they could fix the tea and will try using more tea bags next time. Just for their courtesy and cooperation, I will up their score by a point for their tea, from a zero to a one. DENVER OMELETTE: 9/10. Good flavor, good ingredients, was a bit small. Overall, a delicious omelette. COUNTRY POTATOES: 8/10. Good flavor. I enjoyed the seasoning they placed on the potatoes, though it was getting a bit strong the more I ate, still delicious though! BISCUIT AND GRAVY: 7/10. Biscuit was soft and tasted buttery. Gravy was creamy and hot, but could use a bit more flavor. I still enjoyed it, however. BLT and Ice tea for my daughter and my breakfast came to $48.45 including tax. A bit high, in my opinion. Ambience was nice and quiet, things to look at, country vibe. Very nice staff. 50/50 chance I will stop by again.
