I wasn't sure with the idea of honey and tomato on a pizza but I am glad I tried it. It was a really good combination. The crust is nice and toasty. The Milanese was well cooked as well. The Jaguar passion fruit cocktails were really good. Our server warmed up to us after a while language barriers aside. We tried to speak Portuguese as much as we could. The seating and ambiance are clean and inviting. I am definitely planning to return.

When it came to the pizza we did half Portuguese and half pepperoni. It was one of the best pizzas I have ever had by far. We ordered a large and split it with two people and almost couldn't finish them. For dessert we ordered the banana jamma and it was perfect. They cook the banana on some type of wood and then you just scoop the inside out with some ice cream they put on top and it is the perfect bite. They also sprinkle cacao over it to give it a bit of crunch and bitterness. I would highly recommend this place.

So we came here after having tried another location for a bite of their delicious pizza. The…read moreservice was really good and everyone was really nice. We ordered two large pizzas. We did one half Portuguese half prosciutto e formaggi. The other one was parma dulce and melanzana & pesto. I still like the Portuguese one the best, but they all had something special about them. They have about 8 beers on tap that rotate. I wasn't a fan of the beers (a lot of IPAs and no dark beers) but there were some decent ones. Some come in smaller amount but the house draught comes in a hefty 1 L stein. They also serve several different types of pizzas in two sizes medium (4 slices) or large (6 slices). Pizzas were average but the appetizer of sausage smothered in cheese, grilled onions, green onions and little pickled peppers (not spicy) was delicious. Staff was friendly, bathrooms were decently clean and service was pretty smooth.

The caipirinhas were the best we had in Rio, and we liked them so much that we came back about four times just for drinks. We didn't try most of the food, though we did have French fries on our last night, so I can't really speak to the full menu. What stood out most was the atmosphere and the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful, although one server was a bit persistent about asking for tips. That said, the amounts were small enough (in USD terms) that it didn't feel like a big issue. The location is great, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and it worked perfectly for us since we were staying nearby. One interesting detail is that the drinks were larger during the day, served in plastic cups, and smaller at night, served in glasses. If you're in the area and just looking for a good spot to grab drinks, it's definitely worth a stop.

Service was friendly and English accommodating for those with visitors in town. We were seated right away without reservations but we were early for Brazil time, supper at 7pm; it definitely filled up later in the evening. Pizzas come in two sizes; small (6 pieces and two flavor choices) and medium (8 pieces and three flavor choices). Both sizes easily feed two or more people at R$70 a pizza and up. They serve you each slice and keep the pizzas on a separate table so it doesn't crowd yours. We tried the carbonara and artichoke which were both delicious. However I wouldn't go as far as claiming it's the best in Rio. I prefer Stravaganze Pizzaria across Lagoa, on the Ipanema side. They carry Carioca beer, which is next door, but again were running low due to Bloco season. Beer was limited to a Brahma chopp. They have a collection of wines by bottle and by glass you have to ask for the options of the day (maybe 4 choices). Good spot, good pizza and easy to catch a cab on the street as well, with other restaurants nearby.
