All you can eat pizza and pasta…read more Here. I was up to the challenge but I was soundly defeated. The set-up is pretty cool. You sit down and wait for a waiter/waitress. Someone comes by and asks what you want. You could order off of the menu, but that would be a mistake. You should (and, will) order the all you can eat buffet. As anyone who's been to a churrascaria/rodízio will tell you, you let the food come to you. This is a good thing. Within seconds of telling the waitstaff to feed you, server after server starts to come by with all sorts of pizza, pasta and dessert pizza. The glorious thing is that they keep coming. The bad thing is that they keep coming. If you have an absence of impulse control like I do, this can be a very bad thing. I simply could not stop eating. Was it the best pizza and pasta I've had? No. Did I expect it? No. You get what you pay for and what you're paying for is fast(er) food with waiter service. Still, that didn't stop me from putting a significant dent into the food offerings... or, so I thought. Much like the hordes of The Walking Dead, the food just.kept.coming. There was no way to win. Thinking that I was making a good strategic move, I ordered a beer. The Brahma was exceptionally malty... to the point of being so oddly sweet that it turned my stomach a bit. I look to the carbonation in beer to help with digestion but I veered off course and it cost me more eating time. Granted, this didn't stop my from slaying the dessert pizzaS but the savory portion of my meal was over. After you've gorged to unhealthy levels, one of your party will roll to the counter and pay for your food. Yep, even though there's waiter service, the waiter's won't settle your bill. It's not a big deal but you should probably know that someone's gonna have to be the first to waddle. Once you've paid, however, you can sit around and try to digest a bit. I saw all types of folks here: families, teenagers, groups of friends, dates. It's a versatile space and if I were a teenager in Rio, I would have made this a regular part of my over-eating rotation. As an adult visitor, however, once was probably enough. I was grateful, though, to get another glimpse of an authentic, local way to spend a Sunday evening.
