I just received a condolence card which was signed by every member of the staff for my cat Charlie who recently passed away. I'm so glad that this practice has opened . Unlike other vets I used to go too in Hoboken they truly care and always call me back immediately if I have any questions or concerns . They also have parking which is a plus and they routinely care for and cover the costs of homeless animals in need.

What is the cost of vaccines?

I'm not exactly sure if you have a cat or dog . Vaccines are different for both I'm assuming . My cat had a couple exams and two vaccines and I'm not sure what the cost was . It seemed very fair to me .… Read more

I met with the vet, Dr. Babaev, and they said that the cut was superficial and would be fine. They recommended a cone and topical medicine. The vet asked me if I wanted them to cut the hair on my dog's ears since it was matted and they said it may be uncomfortable for my dog. I agreed. They took her in and I waited in the waiting room. When the vet assistant brought my dog to me, the vet assistant told me several times that the vet apologizes for creating a cut next to the original cut I had made! Not only that, they also shaved down the hair on her other ear so close to the skin that she had open cuts and was bleeding! I cannot believe that my dog came out worse than when I brought her in! I have never had an experience like this at a veterinary office with any of my dogs. It has caused me emotional distress to see my dog injured and uncomfortable. They also charged me 1/2 the price for the trimming when it should have been free since they hurt her! I won't be coming back here. Absolutely unacceptable!

The second doctor at a different vet practice was much nicer, loved my dog, and never hurt my dog to the point where she yelped like the vet at Riverside did. We didn't need the X-rays they were pushing me to pay for at Riverside. (Riverside even had a different vet call to tell me how important it was for me to come back and be seen, even after I told them I wanted to check with another vet to make sure their prognosis was correct) It's kind of embarrassing for Riverside Animal Hospital. It felt like an obvious money grab from an unpleasant vet. And the vet was quite unpleasant I will not be returning to Riverside. I recommend you stay away, too.

I switched vets, nine months later, and my dog is happily running around the park playing and eating all the treats she can get. The thought of what if I followed their advice. I was directed to bring him to Dr. Davila at this office for a simple check up. Within seconds of the start of his appointment, he was separated into to a back room. After waiting for 2 hours with no updates, the vet returned to the waiting room with an empty carrier. I was told that he would be neutered the following morning (which wasn't a part of the original plan, but I was happy to hear). I asked what time to pick him up and was awkwardly told they would be in touch. I was then skeptical of what was going on, but trusted Gotham and Dr. Davila. But after calling the following day to check on him, everyone refused to answer questions for many hours. Eventually I received a brief text from the agency that he was adopted by Dr. Davila. While I am happy the cat was adopted (and would have been thrilled had I been told at the office), the situation was handled poorly. I was not given the courtesy of being told what was in progress until long after the paperwork was finalized, and obviously irrevocable. What could have been a celebratory moment was turned heartbreaking and confusing. Due to the secrecy, I can't help but think the decision was motivated by the wrong reasons, and I hope the cat is in good hands. I understand that foster cats are meant to be adopted. That's great. But this was strange, underhanded, and immoral. Stay clear if your pets are expensive or rare in any way.

My cat was in last week with Dr. Kiani for some behavioral things to address and exposed his anal glands when getting examined. Since then, I've noticed some dripping at home so I called the vet. They suggested I bring him in ASAP. Flash forward to today and my experience could not have been worse. Dr Colon made me feel stupid and disregarded. She told me I was confusing the anal gland problem with diarrhea. She did a rectal exam and my cat was FREAKING out and to have to watch that was awful as his mama. I started crying and she made me feel bad for that. I felt like she didn't care about me or my baby at all. We will unfortunately not be coming back to this vet. Besides the awful experience today, I always wait longer than an hour no matter the time and it's very expensive. Such a shame because the nurses are great, Dr. K is wonderful and the front desk is kind, but Dr. Colon ruined our experience. I highly suggest avoiding this place or at least Dr. Colon if you can.

She gave us some recommendations and told us that they would be able to provide the insurance with our cats' medical records with results from our wellness exam that day. So I went ahead and signed up for pet insurance. Yesterday, the pet insurance company sent emails to Bond Vet 91st Street requesting for each of my cats' medical records. I was copied on the emails and was surprised to see Bond Vet responding that they do not have any of our pets on file in their system. I thought it was a mistake, so I logged into my account and took a screenshot of the names of my cats that were very clearly listed on my profile, as well as their discharge summary. Even with that, no apologies or corrections were made. They simply continued to reply with rude one line responses stating that my cats are not listed in their system. How do you have the audacity to deny that my cats are Bond vet patients and refuse to send our pet insurance company our cat's medical records when I have receipts, payment invoice, discharge summaries and screenshots showing that my cats are clearly listed on my profile when I log on to my account on your website. This is ludicrous and I never want to deal with your rude staff or your overpriced and incompetence services ever again.
