I met with the vet, Dr. Babaev, and they said that the cut was superficial and would be fine. They recommended a cone and topical medicine. The vet asked me if I wanted them to cut the hair on my dog's ears since it was matted and they said it may be uncomfortable for my dog. I agreed. They took her in and I waited in the waiting room. When the vet assistant brought my dog to me, the vet assistant told me several times that the vet apologizes for creating a cut next to the original cut I had made! Not only that, they also shaved down the hair on her other ear so close to the skin that she had open cuts and was bleeding! I cannot believe that my dog came out worse than when I brought her in! I have never had an experience like this at a veterinary office with any of my dogs. It has caused me emotional distress to see my dog injured and uncomfortable. They also charged me 1/2 the price for the trimming when it should have been free since they hurt her! I won't be coming back here. Absolutely unacceptable!

The second doctor at a different vet practice was much nicer, loved my dog, and never hurt my dog to the point where she yelped like the vet at Riverside did. We didn't need the X-rays they were pushing me to pay for at Riverside. (Riverside even had a different vet call to tell me how important it was for me to come back and be seen, even after I told them I wanted to check with another vet to make sure their prognosis was correct) It's kind of embarrassing for Riverside Animal Hospital. It felt like an obvious money grab from an unpleasant vet. And the vet was quite unpleasant I will not be returning to Riverside. I recommend you stay away, too.

I switched vets, nine months later, and my dog is happily running around the park playing and eating all the treats she can get. The thought of what if I followed their advice. Remember the saying, "You hire who you are." This explains the unprofessional front desk. Worst practice! Christine

I have never left a review before but I was traumatized by my bizarre experience here:…read more I was fostering an abused and abandoned sphynx cat through Little Wanderers (with the confirmed possibility to adopt). I was directed to bring him to Dr. Davila at this office for a simple check up. Within seconds of the start of his appointment, he was separated into to a back room. After waiting for 2 hours with no updates, the vet returned to the waiting room with an empty carrier. I was told that he would be neutered the following morning (which wasn't a part of the original plan, but I was happy to hear). I asked what time to pick him up and was awkwardly told they would be in touch. I was then skeptical of what was going on, but trusted Gotham and Dr. Davila. But after calling the following day to check on him, everyone refused to answer questions for many hours. Eventually I received a brief text from the agency that he was adopted by Dr. Davila. While I am happy the cat was adopted (and would have been thrilled had I been told at the office), the situation was handled poorly. I was not given the courtesy of being told what was in progress until long after the paperwork was finalized, and obviously irrevocable. What could have been a celebratory moment was turned heartbreaking and confusing. Due to the secrecy, I can't help but think the decision was motivated by the wrong reasons, and I hope the cat is in good hands. I understand that foster cats are meant to be adopted. That's great. But this was strange, underhanded, and immoral. Stay clear if your pets are expensive or rare in any way.

I was happy to see that the entry price was nearly $1000 cheaper than Manhattan. I booked the appointment. I even came back for the required bloodwork before the dental appointment as it was even cheaper than in New York City for that as well. Happily, the dentistry went well and it was $1000 for dentistry where the minimum in Manhattan was $1800. Dr. was caring, staff was nice Recommend and will return

It was hectic with multiple dogs around and my cat started getting fever. Week before that I asked them to repeat the blood for my visit and they refused even though lab work doesn't require Dr only tech, but they said because they injured his leg before that he couldn't step on it they can't take him. So I came back for the Dr risking the health of my pet for a week. We left without a visit even though they knew about urgency of FIP condition, the need of blood test, transfusion or fluids, and no one even gave us a call. Now I'm assuming they just afraid to be sued and kept making me wait on purpose. I would not recommend this place, the receptionist is rude, the techs are incompetent, and the Dr is young, but I was surprised he never even called back. No compassion here, poor animals.

She gave us some recommendations and told us that they would be able to provide the insurance with our cats' medical records with results from our wellness exam that day. So I went ahead and signed up for pet insurance. Yesterday, the pet insurance company sent emails to Bond Vet 91st Street requesting for each of my cats' medical records. I was copied on the emails and was surprised to see Bond Vet responding that they do not have any of our pets on file in their system. I thought it was a mistake, so I logged into my account and took a screenshot of the names of my cats that were very clearly listed on my profile, as well as their discharge summary. Even with that, no apologies or corrections were made. They simply continued to reply with rude one line responses stating that my cats are not listed in their system. How do you have the audacity to deny that my cats are Bond vet patients and refuse to send our pet insurance company our cat's medical records when I have receipts, payment invoice, discharge summaries and screenshots showing that my cats are clearly listed on my profile when I log on to my account on your website. This is ludicrous and I never want to deal with your rude staff or your overpriced and incompetence services ever again.

When I asked to speak to the vet - the vet tells me I am being difficult (because they want to take my dog to the back and treat him there ) still with no shame charging $400 for treating his cut nail and putting a bandage on it. I guess they forgot that doctors and nurses are supposed to be KIND at the time of need. This is the 2nd issue I had with them - last time I was sent to VEG in Hoboken because they could not do anything. Not going back to this place. Plenty of vets out there - go to a place that treats you right. The tech with the red hair belongs somewhere else not working with people and their pets.

The care our little guy gets is always top notch!. When we arrive at our appointment times we always get in super quick, do our thing and got out. EAH is reasonably priced, but def not on the low end. That's a good thing because having been to a couple of vets before coming here, I tell u, u def get what you pay for. For the peace of mind knowing our little guy is in the care of EAH is priceless. I def recommend EAH, Dr. Kim and all the staff here.
