This place was amazing and I was so impressed with the entire staff especially Dr. Kim Knowels and Dr. Lydia Lovato. Even though its been only a three weeks out from my mini dachshund Dash having herniated disc surgery. He had lost the abilty to even stand or walk however now is recovering, looking great, and walking so much better each day. This entire faciality showed the best customer service and you could honestly tell how much they cared for all the animals. I am truly thankful.

I can't say enough good things about this practice. Marley was great setting up the appointment on a Sunday for the next day. The doctors are fantastic. I highly recommend them. This is Jethro Bodine after surgery. He's doing great.

My sweet girl Lucy herniated a disc in her back just after New Year. Very shocking and very scary. I can tell you with the utmost confidence that the doctors and staff here are consummate professionals. They obviously see a lot of dachshunds with back issues, so they knew what was going on immediately and how to treat her. Surgery was the best option and a week later, Lucy is doing incredibly well. From the moment I stepped in to the clinic I was treated respectfully and very gently. Experience, dedication and a true caring nature are what anyone would want when caring for their animals and veterinary Neurological center are, without question, on the top of their game. Many thanks to Dr Moore and associates!

nothing but love for this place and all the lovely people who work here. they were very kind and professional, and they took great care of my baby. I was so scared when all of the sudden my dog could barely walk on her own, but they kept me as calm as possible in this situation and their confidence that she would make a full recovery was really reassuring. it's been a while since her surgery and she is able to walk perfectly fine again, although she can no longer partake in her favorite pastime of parkour. she has picked up a new hobby of sunbathing, and likely has a really weird tan line from the reverse mohawk they had to give her for surgery!

    Rudy a satisfied customer!

We brought a non-ambulatory Rudy in as an emergency visit and fit into their already busy schedule. We were seen promptly and cared for with empathy and professionalism from ALL the staff. They did X-rays and MRI and provided results in real time as they were being conducted. He had a herniated disc. Dr. Moore operated on Saturday and they were always communicating with us. We brought him home Monday and followed all their protocols. Not only is he walking and active it is an effort to keep him restrained and calm. Dr. Balaban saw us from beginning to our "graduation" and she is a gem! Thank you for taking such good care of our furry family member. Much gratitude! #rudyvalentino

My Bassett has been having back issues, exhibiting reoccurring discomfort, and had to go to the 24 hour emergency vet, who took X-rays and voiced concerns about possible spinal issues. A follow up with my vet ended with a recommendation to take her to this place as he could see some issues but not enough to fully diagnose them, and VNC has an MRI machine. Getting an appointment was easy and soon I was seeing Dr. Plummer, expecting the worst. After an extremely thorough examination, including having me walk her ouside so he could watch (after cautioning me against walking her on the hot asphalt) and review of the X-rays he said that while she was exhibiting signs of pain at home he wasn't able to get her to show them in the office and wanted to hold off on an MRI for a bit as he didn't feel it would be beneficial and instead adjusted her meds, stating the pain could be arthritis which was normal for a dog of her age, and prescribed a low dose pain killer. He said to give it a week and then to reach out to him again over the phone to advise as to how she was doing and that we could decide on a further course of action at that time, including a MRI if it was necessary. MRI's and subsequent surgery's can cost thousands of dollars. Typically if you give a doctor a scalpel they are going to operate. It was refreshing to get an honest medical opinion which didn't take the most expensive route which would have been very easy to do considering how we feel about our pets. I appreciate the expertise and care which he took in going over my girl, and I left feeling reassured and confident that he knew what he was doing and wasn't just shuffling me through. The office front office staff were friendly and professional, and the waiting room was large so dogs in pain and afraid weren't tripping over each other which frequently occurs in veterinarian waiting areas and they have bottled water for the dogs and people. Total cost of the visit was under $250 which is pretty good for a specialist.

My shelti-pom needs back surgery near her tail area. My question is, after surgery while my baby is in your care, does anyone stay on the premises overnight to watch over the pups, or do you just leave them at the office recovery alone?

They do take Care Credit which was a great help. Although I cancelled my first appointment due to my uncertainty that it was indeed time, I was able to reschedule also through text. The doctor, Dr. Frost, gave me a call when she was on her way and was very compassion both over the phone as well as upon arrival and throughout the process. While having my 15 year old dog euthanized was a tough and heartbreaking decision to make, I felt comfort knowing that not only was my dog going through this process in the comfort of his own home, but also by a team who truly cared. I would highly recommend Angel Veterinary Services to others making the same difficult decision, especially for the comfort provided throughout the process.

We had a virtual urgent care call and they were concerned enough that we brought him into The Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic to check in on him. After an ultrasound, they found that he had a mass on his spleen and was internally bleeding, and had to go into immediate overnight emergency surgery. The surgery was successful, and after a 36 hour hospital stay, Barkley is back home and on the mend. While this was such a scary experience and few days, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about The Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic and their team. They are open 24/7/365, and provided around the clock care. Because of the length of his stay, we worked with and spoke to multiple of their veterinarians and assistants (thank you to Dr. Ferguson, Dr. Fleming, Dr. Goldberg, and Dr. Blackmon), and everyone was so kind, attentive, and caring through every step of the process, gave us calls throughout the night with updates and over the past few days to check in on Barkley's progress, and were so compassionate in all of the care they provided.
