Some man…read morewho was not very welcoming to me or MJ, just grabbed the leash, disappeared into the back like he was running a top-secret CIA operation, then returned two minutes later to inform me she had failed. Failed what, exactly? Standing there looking adorable? His reasoning was she didn't approach their 'test dog.' Now, I don't know about you, but I was raised to believe it's actually polite NOT to run up to strangers uninvited. Maybe MJ just has better manners than the average dog? Sorry she didn't charge in for a meet-and-greet like a politician at a county fair. Now, MJ is a rescue, and she is cautious, but she is also the most loving, sock-stealing, cuddle-demanding dog you'll ever meet. Fortunately, we took our business to The Palms Dog Resort, where they actually met MJ, treated her with kindness, and now she loves going there. Some pills were unneeded. Asked for carprofen and was unknowingly given huge 100mg pills instead of 25mg pills. Called vet and Dr. Rhem said she would exchange them. Got to their office and they said once pills leave their office they won't take them back even if they are not the correct pills. This demonstrates they are just out to make lots of money off pet owners. Avoid this vet.

I recently had to put my Labradoodle Maverick to sleep and they made a really difficult situation as easy... as possible. Dr. Dixon was amazing with Maverick. She made sure he was comfortable on top of a fluffy blanket, sedated him so he wasn't in pain or anxious while I said my goodbyes. As she administered the meds, she whispered beautiful things to him as he drifted off to his final sleep. She allowed me to interact with them in a private room. She did not rush me at all or push for a sale. The Boston Terrier I picked was a surprise for my wife and daughter.
