Do not use this vet if you have rabbits! I chose to take my dwarf rabbit here for her vaccinations, and got an awful service from the vet I saw, firstly she was very rough in handling my rabbit, she was squeezing her very tight, without supporting her bum, making my rabbit grunt in fear/ discomfort, but that wasn't the worst part, my rabbit was booked in to have a myxomatosis vaccination, and when the vet injected her, she used two completely different liquids, which I thought was odd, however I left the vet as normal with an appointment to have my rabbits VHD vaccination in two weeks time, but when I got home, it kept playing on my mind about the two injections so I rang the vets back and asked to know what specifically had been given to my rabbit, after a long phonecall with the receptionists looking through records and speaking to the senior vet, I was told that my rabbit had in fact been given her myxomatosis and vhd vaccinations at the same time! Which should never be given together, they need to be a minimum of 14 days apart (even the receptionist explained that when I enquired). So, not only was my rabbit handled roughly, she was given two vaccinations st the same time which she was not suppose to be given, and was booked in for another vhd jab two weeks later, which would have caused an overdose! So if I had not have watched the vet and rang back later because I was worried, my rabbit would (and still could) die from the vets incompetence! I would never recommend this surgery. read more
