So glad I did bc the awesome associate John helped me and explained that the food I wanted is having issues in factory so its not being shipped to any pet store. Of course my luck, BUT they did have an alternate that I use once in awhile in the brand. The other place didnt. So altho I did pay more bc they are more money, it was worth it bc now I have food for my furry ol man. yayy.. So thanks John for preventing me from going crazy looking for it all over the place and explaining the problem. One star off bc alot more money. This location is a busy one and the associates don't ignore you. Definitely worth a check in, if you're in the Hamilton market place..

I'd be happy to pay the exorbitant $150 adoption fee if Res-Q-Pets had been reliable and thorough,…read morebut what makes Res-Q-Pets terrible is their disregard and ignorance of animal health. The kitten I adopted had extensive medical issues. Ear mites (I didn't know the symptoms when I first got my guy, but in retrospect it was obvious when I got him), digestive issues (diarrhea, vomiting), inbreeding. Despite a clause in the adoption contract that Res-Q-Pets would cover all medical costs related to health issues existing before adoption, they covered one vet visit then became non-responsive.

Although we haven't been able to enter the actual facility due to curbside restrictions at the moment, the service we have received is a true testament to how great this place is. Our dog was taken inside and cared for as we waited in the car with a follow up call with Dr. Samet the moment she was returned to us. Dr. Samet was such a pleasure to talk to and answered any questions I had. Big compliments to Paige at the front desk, too. She's an absolute delight and so friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable. I am one of those pet parents who does their research to make sure my golden is given the absolute best care, and I would highly recommend YAH if you're in the area and in search for a practice who cares about their patients and their families.

The staff was amazing and made the entire experience very welcoming. I felt they treated me and my dog as a real family not just a client or a paycheck for them. I felt the experience was really one on one and the doctor really cared about helping my dog. I didn't feel that I got ripped off when leaving or that my needs weren't met. The vet even scheduled a follow-up for my dog to check on her, which was amazing, my prior vet just gave me a hefty bill and would say call if anything gets worse and we can "try to squeeze her in". The vet, Dr. S., was really down to earth and easy to talk to. I didn't feel she was rude, negative, or cut me off when I spoke. I felt very respected as a dog mom and I felt she respected my dog the entire visit. I don't know if the other reviews just had some individual who were disgruntled but that wasn't my experience at all, and I was very skeptical and on edge about vet offices from my prior taking advantage of me, my money, and treating my family just like a pricetag instead of taking care of the reason we were there. I have every intention of continuing my relationship with Yardville Vet Hospital, I'm extremely grateful on finding them!

I went to Pet Supplies Plus for reasons that had very little to do with supplies and everything to…read moredo with a 90 pound philosophical contradiction of a dog, a Golden Retriever, Rottweiler, and Great Pyrenees mix who appears to have been assembled by committee that wasn't interested in each other's feedback. Five stars. The store itself appeared well stocked, though I did not linger among the aisles long enough to judge the economics of kibble. I had a mission. My dog loves water. He does not love bathtubs. As previously mentioned, he is a giant animal and can jump like a kangaroo. This is the sort of paradox that ruins an afternoon. So we tried the self service wash. Fourteen dollars for a single wash, or five for forty. A sensible system. We chose one, in case this turned into another lesson in futility. Instead, it turned into something as close to joy as bathing a reluctant animal can hope to do. The employees were disarmingly kind. They asked about our dog as if he were a minor celebrity, which given his genetic resume, may not be entirely wrong. They asked how many towels we wanted, which is the kind of question that suggests experience. Then they walked us back and explained everything without hurry or condescension. There are three wash bays. Large, enclosed tubs with doors, the sort of setup that quietly eliminates escape plans. Leashes are attached to the wall. The sprayer works like an old self serve car wash. You turn a dial and receive rinse, shampoo, conditioner, all arriving with reassuring competence. The water temperature is not adjustable, yet somehow perfectly comfortable. There is even a dryer hose, which my dog tolerated in the way one tolerates taxes. It still required two humans. Some laws of nature cannot be broken. But what is usually a soapy wrestling match became something orderly, almost civilized. We left with a clean dog and a sense that the problem had been solved, at least temporarily. We will be back. Next time, I won't hesitate; I'll buy the five wash card and accept that, in this small corner of Hamilton, the system works.
