Rainier Multiple Use Trail

I wanted to visit the famous troll in Issaquah, Jakob Two Trees and read that to find the troll,…read moreyou go along the Rainier Multiple Use Trail next to the Issaquah Community Center. I first mapped out the Rainier Trail and didn't see the actual trailhead entrance, but was able to find it after seeing it from the Issaquah Community Center. Map here instead. I didn't know there was a trail near Issaquah's community center, which is near Front Street, but it was nice to learn about this trail because they're currently renovating an off-leash dog park, which is opening this spring/very soon and there is plenty of parking at the community center lot, where you can access Rainier Multiple Use Trail. We visited this trail on a Sunday late morning and there wasn't too many people walking on this trail. However, when we got back to the car, I did notice there were a significant amount more cars in the lot. We never had an issue waiting to take a photo of the troll though due to crowds, which was nice. The trail itself is a paved pathway, so appropriate for wheels, such as bikes and strollers. It's not a very long trail at all, and is flat, so is very easy to walk along. It's also a trail that doesn't loop, so you'll have to go in and out the same way unless you walk through the neighborhood. Overall, this is a good trail where you can see the troll, which I have a feeling is why most people visit this trail until the dog park opens. I'll be back for that.
