Once we hit the ocean, we moved to the back and Captain Dan put the sails up. He even let my husband take over for a bit and he loved it. We could have taken a swim but we preferred to enjoy the peacefulness of sailing. If you prefer a more active trip, all you have to do is ask! There is a bathroom and room to change clothes if needed. You will not regret booking this trip! Bring drinks!

I planned my trip last minute and Agata was quick with emails helping me find a time that would work best. Once we arrived to Miami the weather looked like it was going to be bad. Agata stayed in touch with me throughout the day before updating me on the weather. When she realized that the weather will be nicer in the afternoon (we were going to sail in the morning) she asked the people from the afternoon if they'd be willing to sail on a different day. How nice is that?!? I was so impressed. Now sail day... Migeul was so kind and friendly and we enjoyed every minute on the sailboat. He's a great chef, sailor, and tour guide :) our food was fresh and delicious. Overall this trip couldn't be more perfect.

I was put off by Charlie before the sail began and every ounce of me told me to cancel and not go…read moreon the trip, however we were with friends and i didn't want to ruin it for them. I take full responsibility for not understanding that we were going on open ocean and it could get rough out there. I also thought we would see dolphins, whales, and birds and we didn't. Thank heavens i took anti nausea pills that captain charlie offered or i would have hurled. as it was I felt pretty queasy for most of the trip even though it was a sunny day and would have paid extra for him to turn around. I wasn't enamored of the captains gruff way and i'm older so this trip wasn't for me. The guy who said he will be back was 19. If you're not used to going in the open ocean I'd think twice. i signed up for something totally different so most of this terrible time i had was on me. When i got home i was knocked out and slept for 5 hours and didn't fully recover till the morning.

Had a wonderful experience sailing!…read more Captain Luis and Mabel were wonderful hosts. It is not a huge sail boat but it was perfect for my friends and I. We brought along some food and wine to have for the afternoon. We met at the Dinner Key Marina and promptly got escorted to the boat. It is very laid back and rustic. We all snugly fit in the covered area along with the captain and his wife. There was more room up front to hang out but we all chose to stay together to talk, etc. We started using the motor and once we were a little further out we switched to full sail. It was a perfect day for sailing and it was "smooth sailing" indeed! I was a little apprehensive about being tipped too much while sailing but the truth is that it was awesome and I felt completely safe! There was some spraying on the way back but not to worry, they had raincoats for us all to keep dry. By the time our three hour sail ended I was extremely relaxed and in a sail coma. That was absolutely wonderful. I cannot wait to do this again.
