I went to their web site at 8 AM Sunday and left a message online at 8:09 AM I received a phone call from them with an appointment at 3PM Sunday afternoon with no overtime or weekend surcharge. At about 2PM I got another call saying they could be at my house at 2:20 PM, if I was available. Ken arrived exactly when they said he would. He looked at the water heater and diagnosed the problems and then gave me my options, let me make the decision no high-pressure sales tactics. I decided to replace the water heater expecting it would be Monday before they could replace it. Ken said he could have a new water heater at my house in 30 minutes and replace it this afternoon. Amberlee drove up 30 minutes later and about an hour later I had a new water heater completely installed. While waiting for Amberlee Ken disconnected the old water heater and added a pressure valve to my main waterline. This was the best experience I have ever had dealing with any service company of any type. Ken was very nice and pleasant to deal with, very friendly, When Amberlee arrived, she was the exact same way, friendly, nice and great to talk to. I think Ken has developed a great culture of customer service in his company. The workmanship was great price was fair. This will be the only Plumbing company I will use from now on.

So two nephews of Kenneth Black arrived quicker than what we were told, used their camera and located the blockage. I tried to pay them and they said NO CHARGE!!! I said well I don't have any cash but please take a tip of my debit card. They said no, no tip. These two men were polite, courteous, knowledgeable and just super great employees. I would absolutely recommend this company!! FIVE STAR operation. Thank you Kenneth Black for providing this community with such an awesome plumbing company!

Mother's Day, no less. I contacted Troy and Sons through their website. Got an answer within a half-hour. Their tech was at my house the next day and had it fixed before lunch; I think it was a total of 15 hours between the time I emailed and the time my problem was fixed. What's more, they did all this working around my family having a scheduled medical procedure for that day; Troy and his staff were in constant communication with me and handled everything beautifully. Pricing was a dream. More than fair, as quoted, terrific. Pipe is working great. Other than the new part, I can't even tell that they were there; no mess at job site at all. Really impressed with these guys. They do good work, they communicate clearly, they charge very reasonably, they just give off that "good people" vibe, you know? After dealing with several chains and "big box" plumbers, it was wonderful to find this small business with that great personal and professional touch. I know who I'm calling with all my future plumbing needs. Give them a shot. I think you'll be glad you did.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would…read more I was charged $500 to fix a toilet leak, which I felt was excessive based on the prices I found for similar plumbing work in Atlanta. From my research, I found more reasonable prices in the $350-$400 range. I spoke directly with the owner, who agreed to give me a $50 discount, but that discount was never applied. I ended up wasting even more time calling back and forth just to follow up over $50. Very disappointing experience. I would recommend getting multiple quotes and making sure any promised discount is documented before agreeing to the work. I used them because it was a referral and didn't think to question their prices until afterwards. Mistake made on my part for trying someone new and local.

He didn't charge for a quick visit to see the shower, and then gave me in-depth information about what I needed and what I could do without changing. The 4 stars is only because once I tried to schedule to have the work done, I didn't get as quick a response and then he was a no-show for the actual appointment time. I had to contact him to find out what was happening and when he was coming as opposed to the other way around. In the end, though, he completed the work with no mess and no fuss, no "extra" expense added even though he checked the pressure in the house and made sure there wasn't more stuff causing the leaking. I found Clog Free Plumbing through my home warranty company and that was almost 13 years ago when I…read morebought my home. Eric has been my plumber ever since. Here are the list of things that Eric has done for me for close to 13 years: Removed my garbage disposal and replaced it with a new one, replaced my water heater (removed and hauled away the old one) replaced the parts inside 3 toilets ( I tried to do it myself and I'm not the plumber YouTube taught me to be), replaced faucets in my tub ( once again, stay away from DIY YouTube vids, clearly I'm not good at that); fixed the pipe (in the wall) that connects to your shower and also replaced shower head, something was wrong with my dishwasher and he fixed that which added several more years to its life and did the same thing to my washing machine. That's roughly about all the plumbing repairs he completed and to think, it all started about 13 years ago when I had a small flood in my laundry room. Eric's prices are very reasonable. I like the fact that he was able to get the parts I needed so I didn't have to shop around via driving around town or surf the Internet. That also includes the water heater which still works great by the way. A major big box retailer was not able to get the water heater in a shorter time or for a better price than what Eric quoted. Eric is my plumber for life. I know he only works in Georgia but I'm sorry guys, if I move out of state he has to move the entire company too. It's really hard to find good people that you trust to come into your home to do an amazing job.

I had a very disappointing experience with this plumber. He was sent by my home warranty company to…read moreaddress a specific repair, but instead of focusing on the issue, he spent most of the visit criticizing previous plumbing work and pointing out unrelated items he claimed needed repair. He repeatedly suggested the problem was caused by improper installation or rust, which gave me the impression he was more interested in finding reasons the warranty wouldn't cover the repair than helping resolve my claim. I never felt he was advocating for the customer. He also repeatedly brought up religion and asked whether I was a believer, which I found inappropriate during a service call. His demeanor came across as judgmental, dismissive, and more focused on selling additional work than completing the job he was sent to perform. I expected a professional who would diagnose the covered issue and work toward a solution. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
