From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The check-in process was quick and easy, the facility is spotless, and the exam rooms are thoughtfully designed--clean, cozy, and welcoming. I love the little touches that make pets feel comfortable, like peanut butter or cheese spread lick pads and calming music. The staff is amazing--warm, professional, and truly caring. It is NOT a one way holistic street as she would like pet owners to believe. Furthermore, people who combine GOOD QUALITY and PRESCRIPTION dog foods are NOT comparable to people who "leave their dogs tied to a tree", as she proclaims in her online video. In her video she demos how SHE determines, in a bizarre ritual taught to her by her money making idol, the right meds, foods, supplements for your pets by holding the food/med up against the animal while she holds the arm of a surrogate. If she can push the surrogate's arm down while she holds the food/med up against your animal, then the animal cannot tolerate that food/med. She works on using kinesiology and (in my opinion) intuition. That said, all those methods WORK. She has managed to come up with a plan, food and diet change, to heal my pup from Perianal Fistulae (nasty illness common in GSDs). Now, I pretty much forced her (ok she was cooperative) to team up with a Chinese Herbal Medicine Vet from Connecticut (Dr. Stephanie Torlone) and come up with a plan to help him. This was back in February and both of them did a fab job ! They really got along well and came up with several herbs to work with that would help Albi out. As for personality wise, Dr. Doolittle is a tough cookie. She expects the best out of everything and everyone, so if you can't handle that, you'll be sorely disappointed. However, I love her for this. Price wise - this is expensive, but please note: I am a full time worker and full time student - I barely make ends meet, and when Albi got sick, I had even more trouble. But I KNEW Doolittle could help us out without using harsh immunosuppresants. I also knew based on my research of PFs, that this was the only sure way to get rid of them. Doolittle was worth every penny, still is. Every once in a while, you'll find some things are marked up, but if you do your research right, you can get some supplements/treats/treatments for cheaper elsewhere. However, the price for her services are worth it - she uses every ounce of energy in her to get the right combination of treatments for each patient, and she deserves some compensation for that.

Again she was THERE TO GET HER NAILS TRIMMED, THAT IS ALL. Nothing about this appointment in any way was related to her getting a vaccine. We were given a fake apology, and told there is nothing they will be doing about it, and there is nothing we can do about it. SO, as I said before, if you want your pet to be in good, accountable, reliable hands, do NOT BRING YOUR PET TO FERGUSON ANIMAL HOSPITAL. IN RESPONSE TO FERGUSON'S STATEMENT BELOW: People were already spoken to about this matter. The hospital manager, I believe her name is Laura, as well as the Head Vet Craig Hopkins. The outcome? The person who administered the vaccine was talked to, and thats was the only action they planned on taking. Absolutely crazy to think that a vet can mess up that badly and the only consequence is a talking to. No wonder why I hear horror stories about this place, there's no consequences for negligence and wrongdoing on any level!

Her team provided excellent care each time, for a wide array of medical problems, and more importantly, they brought us peace of mind when we were otherwise flipping out as dog parents do. She was there to help us when one of our bichons went into organ failure and had to be put down. She was compassionate and just as attentive to us as she was to our dog. My Yorkie was supposed to go to Petco for his "spa day" a few weeks ago but we had a big snow storm…read moreand I had to cancel the appointment. Our area then experienced a second snow storm and it took me a couple of weeks until I finally got my dog to Petco. I dropped him off, went home, and in a few hours Petco called and said he was ready to be picked up. He looked like a movie star! (lol) Something that is really excellent about Petco ... the cash register attendant rings up your order and you pay the bill. Then, the groomer brings your dog to you and tells you how the visit went. I was able to tip the groomer in cash rather than charge it to my bill. Since Petco is in a big plaza with other stores, there is plenty of parking near Petco. The store is well stocked with everything you would need for a pet. I love the place!

My family had been with CCV for years for our 6 dogs, but no more! With that being said, Dr.Farrington, Please check your staff! They are always so very rude, argumentative, and seem to talk down to your customers, in person and on the phone. We have heard it first hand while sitting in your waiting room. We had to take our dog to an emergency room because when we called Compassionate Care to see if Dr. F was able to see our sick dog, we were told they had no appointments available. We felt it was urgent, and good thing we did, so like any decent and responsible owner, we brought her to an ER where she was admitted for respiratory failure. When the records were emailed to the emergency room Vet, she came in the room and read aloud the notes that were sent from your office claiming that we were "lying" about calling CCV for an emergency visit. Are you kidding me? This is what your staff does? Calls your customers liars? Even the er very was taken back by the professionalism of your staff, she mentioned that If it had been her, she would consider going elsewhere. First and foremost, We are the people who pay for you to take care of our precious animals, if you can't help us, then we are forced to go to emergency room. Then your office charges people in advance for upcoming appointments? When you ask why, the attitude comes out. (Your office claims because people are not showing up for appointments), Well, you obviously know who did not show up, so why not just charge that person who did not show? Not the person who is always on time. Yet when we do show up for the appointed time, We are forced to sit and wait in the waiting room, and then be brought into the examination room, only to wait more. Then, when you do come in, you completely rush us and when we ask you questions, you then tell us " This is not a good time, and your questions will have to wait till the next visit", Seriously? Sad and broken hearted, my precious pup passed away that night, but not that you would even know, because we never received any type of follow up phone call from your office since then. So, with that being said, This is what you have to deal with here, at a place that considers themselves "Compassionate care"Personally, I think they should really change their name. My rottweiler Lars, had injured himself earlier this spring...and we weren't rehabbing him…read morecorrectly ourselves. He reinjured his shoulder and that is what lead us to Healing Paws. Dr. Corey spent a lot of time assessing Lars and talking with me about what was going on. The staff at Healing Paws are friendly, knowledgeable, and Lars loves them. We are on our second week of rehab and they are giving us exercises to rebuild Lars at home and this is what we need. Lars is a performance dog that competes in obedience and agility shows...I truly believe that Healing Paws will get him back into peak condition!
