I have waited for sometime before writing this review. We used this vet office a few times for…read morevaccines, anal expressions just general stuff. Overall I was pleased with the staff and thought my dogs were treated well. I still had a regular vet that I preferred elsewhere but it had become increasingly harder to get in to see him. We'll when I needed him most he was out of his office and not available to do the euthanasia for our bassett hound which we had rescued from wayside waifs 17 years earlier She was a sweet sole and as with all my dogs I stay with them till the end. We'll this veterinarian had other plans that day. As I stated earlier this was a vet she had seen but it was not our regular vet but they did take us that day. A blood test was ran to check numbers and as suspected it was time. I let them take her I though to prepare her for the injection and instead they brought me my baby girl back to the room already deceased. The injection had been done out of my sight. This is not how this should have gone down. I was devastated but kept my cool. Payment was made for arrangements and I left. I still every time I drive by this vet think of that day and what was taken from my sweet girl and myself. The chance for me to give her a proper goodbye and hold her as she passed. I have never been back

I answered and then heard a woman in the background say, "Just hang up." Very mature. The animal shelter supervisor then called me back and apologized for our treatment at Raintree. He's the real MVP. At this point I wouldn't trust Raintree with a stuffed animal. The situation was already rectified when I left their facility with my cat. The bad apples working at Raintree I'm entirely certain they already know about. Raintree chooses to keep them on. Not my circus, not my monkeys. Do not ever call me again.

The Dr.'s Tom, and Todd, Father and Son have been a big part of our lives. And the Mrs' K's that run the office and keep Tom, and Todd on schedule and on track are just as friendly and outgoing as two ladies can possibly be. We have over the 20 years had several four legged family members treated by Tom, and Todd over the life of each family member, and we could not have found better or more caring treatment, even on days they are closed, they'll drop everything and come in for emergency treatment. They always remind me of "Doc" on "Gunsmoke" harnessing up their buggy in the middle of the night to bring aid and relief to a suffering animal. I called them first thing in the morning and they recommended to call a dental specialist but explained they would not be able to do surgery in case it needed immediate removal. After calling my original vet and the dental specialist, I made an appointment for surgery. I was recommended to go back to my regular vet to work on pain management until the surgery. Since I live in Grandview, and they had been so helpful over the phone, I was able to get a same day appointment that afternoon! From the moment I walked in, my little man was showered with love and attention. The ladies i worked with both in person or on the phone (Dr Hamilton, Ella, Mikayla, Megan) were FANTASTIC. I am a first time dog owner and they explained everything in detail and answered all my silly questions. If you're furry friends need help, you can absolutely put your faith in this clinic!! We're doing much better this afternoon thanks to you ladies!!

They gave me some steroids to help contain the growth and made me me an appointment to come back one week later I called the day before to make sure they received her blood work from her regular vet. They claim they didn't even have her on the schedule, but they would work her in. I get there for her procedure, they want me to sign something that tells me how much it's going to be. It's the same document I had before, except it was supposed to be half the price because I opted out of the bloodwork. My quote was originally $400 approximately, decreased down to $200 because of declining the bloodwork. However, they claim this was a mistake. And actually came back with a larger amount to pay. They were not going to honor the original quote that they gave me. The new quote was going to be anywhere from $370-$620. What a joke. I left. "Sorry" they say. That's the thing about saying sorry. Apparently these days it can get you out of anything.

Worst place I have ever been to. My dog had his ear hematoma drained there late last month, today…read morehe was getting the drainage tube removed and without warning Dr Gower ripped my dog's ear tube out causing my dog to scream because of the pain. He didn't even attempt to reassure my dog nor me that what he just did was fine, there was no discussion beforehand that this was what he was going to do to my dog. Pain meds were not offered either, just simply be on your way. He's an incredibly cold and unwelcoming person, and the lack of care and informed consent is appalling. They don't tend to offer pain meds nor antibiotics for after surgery either, at least none was offered when my dog initially had the tube put in. No care instructions were given at pick up either, we had to call back to make sure what to do. And when the edge of the tube in his ear started cutting into him only then did they finally give us something for him, but they didn't do anything to prevent it from continuing to cut into him. In fact the vet originally just brushed it off as being the drainage hole when it clearly wasn't. I had to take my dog to a different vet clinic shortly after the tube got ripped out to make sure he was going to actually be okay. And the vet there agreed it shouldn't have been handled like this. And unlike this clinic they constantly reassured my dog the entire time while they looked at his ear, making sure he was comfortable and cared for properly. Which because of how he was handled here, he was very nervous about people around his ear now when he never was before. They also gave us pain meds unlike here. This isn't even that much of an ask, this is standard care. Which thank you Vetco total care in Blue springs for actually caring about the animals they're trusted with. If you value your dogs comfort and health, don't go here. Even if they solve the initial problem they'll just end up making things worse and do nothing to fix it. If you have concerns they brush you off.

First time I stepped into this place was so I could see how much I would be charged for the boas…read moresurgery for my frenchie. Didn't realize it would be my greatest mistake taking my pet there. We were informed of two estimates one was with all the required things and the second one was extra add ons that we would like to either get him checked on or removed. We chose the one with all the required things. The day of the surgery we made sure it was just the one we wanted no added things. We left our pet there and then an hour later we get informed that our pet died during surgery. We asked for information about how everything happened since he was completely healthy. At first they said that he passed away once he was under anesthesia, but then they changed the story again saying that he actually passed away 2 minutes after his surgery was over. We also happened to get information that our frenchie went through the process of getting his saccules done without our consent. They supposedly said that they called us to get our consent but we never received a call. This doesn't mean that they could've proceeded with it since it was an optional procedure and it was something we didn't want to be done due to us being scared if it would cause something bad to our frenchie. We also weren't informed of how dangerous anesthesia is for flat faced animals. If we known then we would've for sure not done the surgery. We just wished that the doctors could've been just faced us instead of having the receptionist telling us the information twice and informed us more about how dangerous this surgery could've been for our frenchie.

Dr. Kennedy is a wonderful vet She's personable and caring…read moreand has a great attitude towards our cats and us. My only complaint is that they are so busy, but that's because we want her for ourselves. If you need vet services, Kennedy's Animal Clinic is the place to go.
