Today, I had the sad task of bringing Mom's dog in to be put to sleep. This was a difficult decision for the family, but the right decision. The veterinary tech that helped me process the paperwork and prepped Poppins was outstanding. She held this little dog with so much love and care during the entire procedure. Thank you for being so remarkably kind. (I didn't hold Poppins myself because sometimes the dog has mixed feelings about me. She is definitely mom's dog.) The vet was also incredibly kind and gentle. He was familiar with our case, and gave Poppins excellent care. Thank you. I am sorry that this sad work is put upon the same good people that give so much to care for everyone's pets. This clinic has delivered excellent service at every visit over the years. We are so very grateful to have Strothertowne for Poppins. Thank you for being exceptional and kind.

She says "I don't know what to tell you , we are busy and that was a computer error so you can't come in." No apologies, nothing. Then proceeded to hang up in my face and when I called back , she hung up the call again , so I called from my business cell and , of course she answered. I asked for a manager and she was rude again, and says "ma'am it's Saturday there's no management and the only person that's a over me is the vet and they are too busy to talk to you so no." And when I said okay well , I'll find somewhere else to go she goes, " yep you do that. Good luck and hangs up again."

This week one of our rats took a turn for the worse and the whole team at the facility was so sweet and kind. They got us in before closing time to put little Nibbles down. They let me go back with her while they put her down and even made ink prints of her tiny feet for my 2 girls. We truly appreciate the upstanding care from everyone we encountered.

It looks like he ate today because his stomach is full and I'm thinking to myself. Why is his stomach full? He didn't eat yet. So I waited took him back again and they said everything looked good, but can we do a rectal exam and I said so a rectal exam and nothing so I took him back in February 2022 still with the same problem and they said could they do an erectile exam and I said OK go ahead was over a year and a half or less and still, they couldn't find any problem. The problem was getting worse at that point. So I took him back the next month and they said what can we do a rectal exam and I said you just did one last month how many times do you wanna look up there? They kept charging me and doing nothing and it's not about the money. It's about my dog all this time he was suffering and all this time they were taking him in the back saying they were doing rectal exams. Maybe they were maybe they weren't but I don't know. It seems like one or two would've been sufficient. So I left with him then I made an appointment for Raymore Vet veterinarian hospital. That was on a Tuesday and they said well let's try his diet first and I said OK so three days later on a Friday the 13th I took back to Raymore and I said he's not getting any better and she said I know you've already done three or four rectal exam, but would you mind if we do one so we can try todetermine what's going on? I told them OK go ahead. They came back out and told me he was full of cancer. That dog was laying on a cool surface that explains why he was having diarrhea and not being able to go because he had blockage in there. The diarrhea was caused from the cancer. There were other now off the top of my head I can't think of them because every time I talk about this I'm so furious. I basically paid to let my and die. If you have a problem, even a minor one my honest opinion I would never take an there again ever and I've never been back since then. They blocked me on their website because I told the story which it's the honest to God truth I'm not want to lie and I don't like people that do lie. I'm just telling my story so other people won't lose their the way I did it. It's just 100% honesty. And it goes to show you what kind of people they are they blocked me because of my honesty or is it because of their lack of knowledge and not helping an animal the way they should be capable of helping all of the times I took him there the couldn't come up with anything but within three Raymore Vet veterinarian had him diagnosed. People just beware if you love your them there.

Explained everything throughly when I brought him in and provided a cost estimate. Called me after xrays were taken to let me know that my cat actually had 8 other teeth that were rotting. Called me after they were done with the procedure to update me on how things went. When I came to pick him up, Dr Mervin showed me his xrays (before and after), explained post op instructions, provided medications. Very impressed!

He has always been so friendly and knowledgeable about our pets, taking great care of them during there life. We had to recently put our 13 year old mini aussi down and it was our daughters dog. Dr Voris has know our daughter since she was a child. He was so accommodating for us knowing how difficult is was going to be for her. We have had animals put down before but this one was special and he made as easy for us as possible. You don't find that kind of compassion very often but we did and he is one in a million!! I have been taking my precious Bella to Vetco in Lee's Summit the past few years. They have always…read morebeen so kind, caring and communicative with her care. I knew she was in the best hands and they would not offer a service, unless they knew it could help her. They also gave me the choice on what procedures, testing, treatments that I wanted to do for her, while giving me great education. It is very cost effective treatments, when some vets can take advantage and require very costly bills. Staff would always make her feel so loved and say how excited they were to see her. She needed emergency care after a very long procedure, removing her eye and all of her teeth, at 17 years old. They called the next day, as she was hospitalized elsewhere, checking in on her. Last week, Bella and I said our final goodbye with the staff at Vetco. They were so kind and compassionate, making it the smoothest and most peaceful that you could hope for. Thank you Vetco for taking care of my sweet Bella, and me.

Our vet was not comfortable doing the sutures due to it being under his tongue. We traveled over an hour to take him here and we do not regret it. All of the staff were kind and helpful. They are triage, so our dog was bumped back a ways before the stitches. The staff called to keep us updated the whole time! He is home now and resting. Very thankful for Blue Pearl!

I answered and then heard a woman in the background say, "Just hang up." Very mature. The animal shelter supervisor then called me back and apologized for our treatment at Raintree. He's the real MVP. At this point I wouldn't trust Raintree with a stuffed animal. The situation was already rectified when I left their facility with my cat. The bad apples working at Raintree I'm entirely certain they already know about. Raintree chooses to keep them on. Not my circus, not my monkeys. Do not ever call me again.
