Her…read moreenlarged heart seemed to be improving but suddenly went into crisis/experiencing great distress last week. Other offices I called just said no, you'll have to call around. When I called here, the person who answered said if I could be there in 45 minutes they could see her. I didn't have to say a word, the minute I walked in the door we were immediately taken to a room. We waited awhile and Riley collapsed. As soon as they heard my loud cry they came quickly and found a faint heartbeat. She was taken immediately and revived with cpr. I was updated throughout the next 1/2 hour as Dr K did all he could to save her. His demeanor was so kind as he explained how she had not received proper grading of diagnosis and counterindictative treatment. He described how she simply took her last breath. I was given as long as I needed with her to say my goodbyes then allowed to help prepare her to go to the crematory. No rush in choosing urn despite it being past closing time. I felt the condolences were very sincere and have since received a card from staff. I don't expect anything will change when I pick up ashes. For all these reasons and their reasonable fees I am a supporter and have found a new vet in Dr K for my next fur child.

Dr. Kent has been knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely committed to managing our bulldog's ongoing health condition. Unfortunately, the clinic's policies and customer service have made it increasingly difficult to continue care there. Their prescription policy recently changed, and they now charge a $10 fee for every prescription filled through any mail‑order or online pharmacy. Because our bulldog refuses the chewable version they carry in‑office, we've had no choice but to use outside pharmacies and pay this fee each time. When we expressed our concerns about the added cost, we were unexpectedly placed on a "no longer serviceable" list. The front desk informed us they could no longer speak with us, and as a result, we are unable to get our bulldog's prescriptions filled or transferred -- leaving him without his life‑sustaining medication. Communication with the front desk has been an ongoing issue. Phone calls often go unanswered, we are frequently placed on hold for long periods, and when we request a callback, it rarely happens. This is not the first time we've had problems with the administrative staff. Previously, they insisted on obtaining a social security number before allowing an appointment, and when we questioned that requirement, the office manager responded rudely. While we understand that policies are policies, the way concerns are handled matters. Overall, the customer service we've experienced has been consistently disappointing, despite the quality of care Dr. Kent provides.

This is the second I have tried…read more Walking in there is a large fish tank, high ceilings and although the furnishings are old, the facility is well maintained and does not smell of animals. The front desk staff was welcoming upon entry and the wait time was not too long. Scheduling the appointment online was an easy process and there were many available openings. We saw Dr. Nickell. I chose her because I thought she would be the most familiar with Frenchies, as she has a boxer. It was apparent that Dr. Nickell had reviewed the uploaded records prior to meeting with us so that was a plus. We went in for a annual wellness exam and updated heartworm and flea preventative prescriptions. I did not like that I did not see any portion of an exam being conducted. Dr. Nickell felt my dog' abdomen, but then took him to the back for his weight and a heartworm test. I did not see her assess his ears, eyes or teeth and she did not comment on anything besides his weight for prescriptions. He had been on a lower dosage, but would have to be moved up as his weight increased a couple pounds. He needed a heartworm test prior to the new prescription. It was $80, which is on the higher end for a heartworm test. I was told I could wait in the waiting room and someone world come out to tell me the results, but no one did. I asked reception on my own. Overall, Dr. Nickell was not very personable and I did not like that I paid for a wellness exam that I did not see and was not discussed.

The guy who sold it is now cruising around in his shiny new McLaren, while the rest of us get to enjoy "premium" flea and tick meds with one price in Riverside and a suspiciously cheaper one in Tiffany Springs. Because nothing builds customer trust like location-based price gouging. Prices keep climbing well above market rate, proving they're not in the business of pet care anymore -- just maximum profit extraction. Dr. Sparks should be ashamed. Congrats on helping your predecessor upgrade to supercar status while the clients get the bill. Time to find a vet that hasn't forgotten what integrity looks like. Never again.
