I've had several of my animals seen here through the years, for their spays, neuters, vaccinations and a few other things. it involves waiting longer than at a more expensive vet, but you get very cheap services and no nonsense quality care for your pet. they do not do full services here so we go to my regular vet for regular checkups and other things that vetco doesn't do. overall I would recommend vetco as a cheap reliable place to get your animal spayed or neutered and vaccinated. but do not expect to have your feet washed special treatment they are there to get animals fixed and healthy not pamper your feelings. thank you vetco for servicing our animals and the people of abq. read more

I took my 2 dogs 2 months ago for vaccinations and heartworm tests, which they both passed. I was told they were out of Heartgard that day, and to come back. When I called again today, the talking head on the phone told me they have none, they have none coming, and they weren't going to order any more! I asked her what do I do and she said they don't give prescriptions out and all she could suggest was see if some other vet clinic would give me some by showing my receipt! They were happy to take my money for heartworm tests, though. They should have disclosed this that day and I would have gone elsewhere. That is totally unacceptable and ridiculous. If they can't give you Heartgard, they should not be doing heartworm testing. It's heartworm season and my dogs need to be on their meds. I'm not coming back to the VetCo in Los Lunas and I don't recommend anyone else to go there either. read more

DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE!! Extremely unprofessional and RUDE staff. I regret not reading reviews beforehand, but let me be the voice to deter you from giving these individuals your business. During my visit, there were approximately 50 other patients, and the clients displayed remarkable patience and politeness while organizing themselves into a line. However, the veterinarian the owner didn't stop yelling at each other + staff the entire time I was there (2hrs). Even behind the closed door of the examination room, I could hear screaming. Once in the room, both the vet and owner made rude comments about my cat, calling him big, mean, ugly, and to "watch out for this one, he's nasty". Their attitude towards the animals they were treating was one of disgust vs professional care. They were also unnecessarily rough with my cat, which I found concerning, especially considering the reviews indicating they treat many this way. Things took a turn for the worse when I mentioned not knowing if my stray had been tested for FIV. Instead of handling the situation professionally, they threw a tantrum, insisting I disrupted their process. I literally only had to pay for the exam and wait for results before getting back in line for the shots. Back in the room, they didn't adhere to basic hygiene practices; the owner handled syringes and medical tools without washing her hands or using new supplies, and at one point, she even HELD THE FILLED SYRINGES IN HER MOUTH before vaccinating my cat! It was only later in my visit that I discovered the owner lacks a veterinary or medical education besides owning the clinic. This was a huge red flag for me. The second receptionist who checked me out was just as rude/unprofessional as the owner and vet. She didn't greet me properly, was snappy, and took long to complete the transaction, all while rudely correcting her colleague loudly and unprofessionally. After all that, she called me later to say she didn't even charge me and I had to give her my payment info over the phone! Perhaps most concerning is, while I was checking out, I overheard the other receptionist and a client talking about declawing services, which I was horrified to learn Vetco provides!! Please, for the love of all things, do your research and DO NOT DE-CLAW CATS!! It is an entirely elective surgery that causes permanent physical disabilities and behavioral problems in cats, and not only is there peer reviewed research to back these claims, but the American Association of Feline Practitioners AND American Veterinary Medical Association VEHEMENTLY OPPOSE declawing and note that veterinarians are OBLIGATED to provide alternatives to patients. After finding out who the owner is, I am again not surprised and even more concerned for the welfare of the animals seen at this service. I ended up butting in on their conversation to tell the other patient to get second opinions, because no sane or ethical vet in 2024 would perform elective declawing. When I brought this up to the vets where I typically take my pet cats (Aztec Clinic, VALLEY VETCO on Montaño Rd) as well as colleagues who work in vet med, they were equally horrified and said they had no idea anywhere in NM was still performing declawing surgeries. I doubt vets in town would still be recommending Vetco on Menaul if they knew about the declaws. Staff also openly displayed TRANSPHOBIC BEHAVIOR to a nonbinary friend using spay/neuter services. Staff LAUGHED at them when corrected to use they/them pronouns. They even overheard the vet mockingly say "oh, IT's a they/them!", which is completely unacceptable treatment of ANYONE, let alone clients. Despite the affordability of their vaccine clinics, the questionable ethics, lack of expertise, and disrespectful behavior of the staff make this establishment one to avoid at all costs. Spread the word to ensure others are aware of these issues. I literally still tell my friends/neighbors about this experience because it was that bad. Whoever answers reviews also clearly likes to publicly note whether or not the reviewer is in their files as a customer, but some of us don't use our full names on the internet for safety reasons. Leaving my experience because I don't think anyone should be taking there dogs here. I only went back in September because the people I got my dog from recommended it for cheap shots. My 9 week old puppy at the time had an accident there waiting for shots. I'm glad he did because he was telling me how much he hated that place. As soon as that happened the woman in charge with brown hair extremely disrespectful kept going on and on that my dog has parvo. Stating "he can't come here he had parvo". Also stating "we don't vaccinate diarrhea puppies" as if I knew that!! This is my first dog ever and to hear that is terrifying not knowing he had 3 food changes in 2 weeks. That's a lot for a puppy and that will cause diarrhea our new vet has said. This place is the definition of what you pay for and no "cheap shots" is worth that behavior. I came to Vetco on 5/24/22 to get my dog neutered, hoping for a good experience because a procedure like that is very much an invasive one. starting off when I first got there, the service at the front desk to even get him checked in was 100% unprofessional, they gave me a hard time about a few things but one was they just couldn't find his chip in the computer that was registered & some how that was my fault. Finally they took him back & told me to get him around 5pm. My boyfriend went to get him & reassured me that even when he went to go pick up our dog, the service was also unpleasant. The worst part of this experience was the aftermath of the surgery. The first night you could tell our dog was shook up & not feeling well but the next day , he was peeing blood, shaking, puking and having extremely loose stool. They had originally gave us pain medication for him which didn't seem to be helping but not only that, but when he was profusely vomiting, he wasn't at all keeping the meds down. I called vetco immediately only for them to tell me to stop the pain medication & they were going to give me medicine called "methionine" which helps with urine stones, which they said he had. Another day goes by and the bloody urine gets worse along with everything else so I rushed him to THRIVE on montgomery. They were amazing & so helpful. Turns out he had a UTI from the surgery that was done at vetco & he never had urine stones & they prescribed that medication carelessly. I don't want an apology from Vetco, I just want to make future customers aware that they are irresponsible, careless & extremely unprofessional. I will never bring another animal there ever again & I think before anyone else does, they need to do some research of other places beforehand. read more

My first visit, I was desperate to find out what was wrong with my dog? I was charged $370 at Veterinary Medical Center in Rancho Cordova, with no lab results or medication? along with the same issue persisting with my puppy. This went on for months and a UTI is very painful. However, the Vetco Total Care is reccommended to the world of pet parents by me. This place 100 percent, care about you and your pet not what's in your pocket. I started crying tears of joy. For-real from relief! The love, devotion and concern with the expertise of explaining lookng you in the eyes. I WAS SO RELIEVED! This is Total Care everything you need at one stop. Petco is connected, which has medicine, dog food, etc. with the friendly, professional staff and I already have a friendship after one visit and Ashley you are Amazing as well as the Veterinary that saw Ginger. I love that Vetco provides things like shot clinics for affordable prices because animals need to have access to affordable healthcare. And the vets who work there are amazing! They are great with scheduling their time to work as fast as possible to get to your pet and care for them in a proper way. But the front desk staff is a hot mess! First of all, when we took in our bulldog previously, they had her puppy shot series under three separate phone numbers because the same woman wasn't paying attention and typed it in wrong three separate times so it was off by one digit each time (the older woman with gray hair and glasses). Luckily, I keep all of our records so we were able to figure it out. Next, we came in today with our other dogs and I checked in on the Yelp app for the $3 off vaccinations coupon. The young girl behind the desk gave me a lot of attitude about how they don't accept Yelp coupons unless you print them off first. Um... you can't print off a Yelp app coupon and that defeats the whole purpose of checking in. It took a long argument with her and her manager about how the Yelp app and check-ins work before they would allow it "just this once." My suggestion: go to Valley Vetco on Montano instead. Beware! My dog was scheduled for a spay, and when I arrived, I gave them the shot record provided by our vet. I was told the record was invalid, and I needed an official record with a rabies certification. I was absolutely not told this in advance. And the text message reminder only says shot record. I was told that I could have forged the document. I was at the vet three days ago, and I could easily have obtained the record had I know. I was then told I needed to get my vet to fax the records by 9:30 am prior to surgery. However, I was required to authorize a complete set of vaccinations in case the vet did not fax in time which I wasn't going to do because my dog is fully vaccinated. Frankly, the runaround I received was nothing in comparison to how I was treated. I received a terse and unfeeling "I'm sorry but." The staff took zero responsibility for their part in the miscommunication, and all blame was on me. As a health professional and an experienced vet tech, I would never ever come back here again. Like all of us, I expect to be treated fairly and with kindness and respect. Not to mention: I now have a dog who is still not spayed. read more

Really disappointed in this place since most of other veterinarians recommend it. I called to get information on a spay early in January and they told me to call back early February because all the spots had been filled. I called on 1 February and they said that the schedule for space had not been up yet to call again this week I called on 3 February, and they said to call back next week, I called back the next week on Monday and which they told me to call midweek when I called on Wednesday they said that all the spots had been filled and that I will need to call again mid February. Feeling frustrated I asked if there was a specific day that I needed a call because I kept getting different answers. The woman then proceeded to answer me with what felt like a negative tone. She asked what kind of dog I was looking to spay. I said I had a mixed breed dog, but more than likely a German Shepherd. She immediately said no that they are not accepting German Shepherd to be spayed That I would have to go to a regular vet when I asked why she said because those type of dogs are too complicated to deal with. Then she proceeded to have a different conversation with someone. Where I could hear she was complaining about me asking for spay information. Couple of moments later a different person began talking and said yeah we can't do those dogs here. Then quickly hanged up. I was looking forward to this place as it was the most affordable within my budget. "Vetco Publicly Shamed Customer and Was Told to Leave" 7/03/2022, my Labrador Retriever and I attended a scheduled appointment to get her tri-yearly rabies shot. Here's a list in order of unprofessional events that occurred: 1st out-dated Vetco check-in procedure instructed me via text message to text number 3 upon arrival in parking lot, and to wait in vehicle for Vetco staff to let me know to take pet into Petco for vaccination appointment. I arrived waited in my car with my dog with no contact from Vetco, I called Petco with no staff responding, I saw owners take pets into Petco for services. Secondly, I took my dog into Petco and discovered a broken line of sorts, mixed with walk-in clients, owners with appointments, disorganized, scattered around each other leaving customers to ask each other how to check-in. A couple with their puppy started talking with me and asked me if I was a walk-in customer like they were and if not to check in with staff, they pointed to where I was supposed to notify a vet tech of my appointment. The vet tech inappropriately assumed that I was cutting in line, she vocally told me to stop cutting in line despite that I stated customers in front of me told me to walk-over to her and check-in with her before I returned to the back of the line. The vet tech began to ignore me, then was verbally rude with an aggressive tone of voice and facial expression, she helped other people that had appointments before me which was standard, but then she assisted other pet owners that were walk-ins before me, she got my pet's weight and confirmed my appointment time, I noticed it was now 45nminutes passed my scheduled appointment time. I saw the vet tech walked over to another staff who was giving shots to a dog on a table, the tech started whispering in front of me to that staff member, she began pointing at me and instead of pulling me aside to speak with me privately, she verbally, publicly embarrassed me in front of other Vetco customers and looked me up and down exclaiming that she could not give my dog a lyme disease preventative vaccination, I stated that I was only scheduled for my dog to receive a tri-yearly rabies shot and no other treatment, She paused as if she understood, she started trying to sell me a heartgaurd preventative, I refused to buy heartgaurd preventative treatment from vetco and I told them that I would speak to my own veterinarian about resuming regime when appropriate, the tech verbally scolded me, she walked back to the other vetco staff member still attending to the dog on the table, interrupted her and she again looked me up and down and with an angry tone of voice and again embarrassed me publicly, she stated that my dog was not going to get lyme disease and rabies vaccinations from Vetco and to leave. All the customers in Petco store and all Vetco customers were watching this embarrassing show that the staff caused because they assumed that I had attempted to cut in line. I stated that I was a past vet tech familiar with practices so I offered up my complete and up-to-date veterinary, shot record history for my dog that I always bring to all veterinary, grooming appointments, I asked them to look at my dogs'rabies vaccination status to see and confirm that I was only attending the shot clinic to have my dog's tri-yearly rabies vaccination updated and I was not there for a lyme disease preventative, I had remarked that there was a difference between a rabies shot and a lyme disease preventative measure, I was unsure why Vetco staff kept saying that I was requesting a lyme disease preventative treatment when I was not. I assume that because the Vetco staff had created an unpleasant, uncomfortable public scene that to save them embarrassment they told me to leave saying that they were not going to honor my appointment and that I would need to see my own veterinarian for the rabies vaccination, it seemed easier for the Vetco staff to save face after abusing a customer to tell a scheduled customer to leave, rather to be accountable for their behavior and to follow-through with a standard rabies shot scheduled appointment for a healthy, well mannered 5 year old dog. I was mortified, humiliated, the crowed added more insult to injury, my dog and I had waited a long time and the only service I received from my first and last Vetco appointment was being publicly made a spectacle of. Before, I left the store I told Vetco staff that I was going to file a complaint against them for inappropriate behavior and abusive business practices that had been done to me, the Vetco staff laughed at me and sarcastically told me to go ahead. The Vetco experience was highly unprofessional, abusive and discriminatory. The same day, I took my dog to Tractor Supply's Vet Vip Pet Care Clinic and they gave her a 3 year rabies shot. read more

"Quality care" is a lie. And if I could leave, zero stars, I would.... My first dog went for a neuter Saturday. All seemed well until yesterday when my roommate noticed he had blood in his urine; in looking closer, I found clots. He was acting normal, eating normal; I called Vetco at open this morning. Upon speaking with the receptionist, she said it's "completely normal and there's nothing to worry about" but that I could bring him in during shot clinic hours "just in case if I was worried". I followed up with our usual vet, who stated this was absolutely NOT normal four days following the surgery and to get him in sooner than later. I caught his urine in a ladle and immediately looking at the sample, the vet tech says, "Ouch. That's REALLY bad." The actual vet looked at the sample- he is urinating crystals from unusual inflammation and irritation, likely due to improper handling of his tissue during surgery. The vet stated the sutures were "REALLY high" and look infected due to poor stitching. He has a UTI on top of all of this (which, reported by the vet, is not common- although not unheard of). So, going forward, we will have ten days on antibiotics and 2 weeks on a special diet to eliminate any potential irritants. And, as if this weren't enough, the second dog we took in two days folloeinis also now showing blood in his urine (we are outside the 24 hour period; it's not normal). He's on his way to the vet with his dad just to be safe. I can (maybe) oversee one mishap/wonky outcome. But TWO, in a 3 day span, shows an overall lack of care and attention to detail. And the fact that I was told bleeding after four days is "normal" and of no concern is icing on the cake. As a pet owner, I'm mortified of the experience these boys are having. As their "mom", I'm heartbroken- I entrusted someone with my babies, to do a GOOD job in honoring their promise of quality care. Needless to say, we've now spent double at our usual vet to get the boys squared away. So, their promise of "affordable care" is also botched. My advice to my fellow pet owners, if at all possible, avoid the Vetco clinics. Spend the money to get your babies the care they deserve (you'll end up spending it anyway); this organization is not trustworthy. It is appealing to spend half the money an established vet will likely charge- but at what cost? The discomfort and pain of your babies. Double the money spent rectifying what was botched by this careless clinic. The stress of carting everyone around to a second emergency appointment in the middle of the work week. If it's expensive, SAVE UP. These clinics are flat out not worth it, in any capacity. **UPDATE: We have been taking our dogs to Yucca Veterinary Clinic in Belen. Our pup had a spay this week. They took AMAZING care of her. Immediately getting her home, she threw up. They offered her nausea medication (for free). Her spay was CHEAPER, the medication was included, and they let me pick her up early- as opposed to waiting in that horrific "clinic" line. If you are in Valencia County, or can handle the trip to this vet (right off a freeway exit), it is absolutely worth your while. read more

No regard for disabled persons who had to make special arrangements to make the clinic. If there were a box for ZERO stars, I would mark it. Today I took our 4-year-old Maltese mix to a clinic for a Bordetella vaccine shot. My husband and I rescued Tucker six months ago, and he had spent over a year behind bars at a shelter. We know nothing of his history. He is a sweet, loving little guy but suffers anxiety and PTSD from whatever life had thrown at him. The first stumbling block was the scale. He was reluctant to get on. I showed the staff person his vet statement from the previous week which showed his exact weight, but that was not good enough. I suggested that she coax him onto the scale, and she said replied that she was not permitted to do so. "We" finally got a weight, exactly the same as I had shown her. Next, she wanted to know if he was on any meds and I replied, "Yes, Trazadone for anxiety." She looked at me as if I had said my dog was an axe murderer and went to confer with two of the other three women present. When she returned, she informed me that the vet could not administer the injection because Tucker was being medicated for anxiety. I tried to get across that without the medication, he would not tolerate the procedure -- that is why he will probably always be on this med to help him with his issues. She parroted her previous statement and I pushed back, at which time the woman who must have been the vet (but did not identify herself as such or introduce herself) was adamant that this was their policy because of the open environment of the clinic. If a licensed veterinarian cannot handle the injection of a 24-pound dog (with the help of no less than 3 assistants), there is something seriously wrong with this company. Our dog is not a Pit Bull, Rottweiler or Akita (with no disrespect intended towards those larger breeds) - he is simply a little dog who has had some very bad experiences that still make him cry and twitch in his sleep on a nightly basis and who takes medicine to help cope - just as we humans do with our own antidepressants. VetCo should be investigated for its poor handling of innocent animals. The BBB is not the entity for that process. It historically protects its members and cares little for complainants. read more

BLACKMAIL & HIDDEN Charges !! Scheduled my puppy for "New Puppy" vaccinations with Vetco. It's a two shot series. First appointment was smooth and they scheduled the second for 30 days later. On arrival, the Vet refused service unless we pay an additional $35 for a 7 month old puppy checkup. I told her I did not have the $35 (due to fixed income). She told me "oh well" and would not give the second vaccination. Now, my puppy has to start the series over elsewhere. Keep in mind, this checkup was never previously mentioned and was a hidden charge and blackmail.... Pay more or we won't perform the services as previously agreed. Thievery !!! We have always taken our farm livestock guardian dogs there for their rabies shots and initial microchipping with no problems. This experience was quite the opposite. We walked in and there no signs or prior communication telling us they were in the far back. We got our pup from a breeder who had already given her the first round of shots at home (very typical and how all of our other dogs were). They are not walk on a leash type of dogs and only on rare vet visits do they leave our farm. We had to carry her all the way to the back, looking all over the place until we found it. The techs looked at us very judgy telling us we needed to leash train her more, um why? We waited 20 minutes for two of them, who looked like tweekers to tell us they couldn't accept the at home shots (they always had in the past) and wanted us to pay $36 dollars and inject her with more unnecessary shots. (Shots that we can be bought for $12 and self-administer) We told them we weren't going to have her injected with extra doses she doesn't need and they told us they couldn't give her the rabies shot then. It was a bit obvious she had thrown up on the way (she had only been in the car twice, once to bring her home and this trip) and they told us we needed to make a vet appointment to have that checked out. One vet and 3 techs and they've never seen a pup throw up in a car when they have only been on a car ride twice?? They looked even more judgy when we declined to schedule a vet appointment through them. One of the techs stared at the tablet screen for 5 minutes looking for our information and finally my husband looked over his shoulder and pointed us out right away (he seemed like he was obviously on something). We at least negotiated her microchipping so the hassle of dealing with everything wasn't a couple bust, but it seems Vetco is just in it for the money and do not clearly communicate to their clients about several things prior to the visit. We will not go back there again! I'll pay the $50 vet visit to go to our primary vet who understands our dogs are working dogs and we do most of our care on our own. read more

Made an appointment to have my puppy neutered. Was told to arrive 7am - 7:30am. Was there at 7:15. Two car people jumped in front of me on line. Was told only five people allowed inside; to wait outside it wouldn't be long. Fifteen, twenty minutes later, still waiting. Husband and I felt uncomfortable with the whole milieu. This was absolutely the worst experience for myself and my dog.My rage is with Vetco Clinics at Petco, 5709 W 44th Ave for Sun 06/28 at 03:48 Pm. They treated my quarantine raised dog, our dog we got during the pandemic who has never been to a clinic, who couldn't enjoy meeting people or dog parks because he didn't have shots; like literal dog sh*t. Telling me that my dog should behave during shots, like wtf Karen? He's a puppy, anyone would freak out over shots, it f*ckin hurts! He's not dominating me or you, he's scared you dumb twats! He's never been handled like the way you guys did nor has he experienced pain like that. Not all dogs can be trained to endure pain stupid f*cks. They got all rude with me when I explained we want to get him socialized and this is why, but how can we without shots and when he's never had shots? You expect him to just deal with it when it's his first? I've seen many dogs flip out with out ' sedation ' so don't f*ckin tell me it's not normal for a dog to bounce around when scares or hurt. I had the worst experience with the vet giving vaccinations. I left without service. I wanted to get vaccinations for my big husky. I should have known from when I walked in that my dog wasn't right for this type of vaccination clinic. The intake person was lovely and assured me they could handle my dog. NOPE! I was unsure that my dog would do well in the tiny space allotted for vaccinations and wanted to hold him while he got the shots. The vet asked me if he bites.....I was honest and said he has never bit a vet, but he has put his mouth on a previous vet. NO SKIN BROKEN....I WAS VERY RUDELY TOLD THAT WAS A BITE. Ok I get that...vet wanted to muzzle and I said nope and left. No need to further stress out my dog when I could tell this vet wasn't the right fit. The notes emailed to me were inaccurate as the vet reported that I said my dog bites and refused to muzzle. True, in her perspective, but it was more that I know my dog and decided this vet was not a good fit. I am writing reviews anywhere I can because it was a bad experience and the vet was so unsympathetic and rude. You are better off finding a vet who will work with you. You won't find that here! I went to vetco in Salem N.H. I got the best package for my 2 dogs $393.00 went back for follow up shots they tried to charge me again for shots I paid for. Disorganized, Went back again for more shots they charged me for service I already paid for she said I had to pay till she talks to the office and straighten it out she denied looking at my receipt or to take my 3rd dog. TEXT 3 when you ARRIVE and stay in your car until we text you. If you can't make it, TEXT 4 NOW. I arrived at 11 am and texted 3, waited 10 minutes until they called me in. Once registered I was told to walk around the store with my dog and they will call me. I looked at the vet office, the vet was nowhere to be seen and the vet tech was just standing around. 15 minutes later the vet shows up and they see a dog. I ask how long till my turn, a half hour has already passed since I arrived. I was told I'm next. The vet took 15 minutes with that dog 10 minutes of which was just conversation with the owner and then just stood around doing nothing for five minutes after that dog left. The guy registering people is part way down an aisle 10 feet from his desk talking to another customer trying to get her signature. I'm standing with my 80lb dog between him and the vet both totally ignoring me. I ask the guy who registered me how much longer I have to wait and he says the vet is just getting the shot ready, which was a lie, he was standing in sight with his vet tech doing nothing for five minutes after his last patient left apparently waiting for the next patient, he didn't even know I was next. After the guy told me the vet was getting the shot ready the vet approached me and I said to him I've been waiting for 45 minutes to get a rabies shot and he had the nerve to say to me "You need an appointment!" ???? I walked out, I'm not giving my money to anyone who treats me like that and thinks they can lie to my face. Why did they call me in when they were no where near ready to see my dog? There were 5 or 6 dogs barking at each other waiting to be seen and/or groomed. It was a circus. I couldn't be there without an appointment so I can only imagine the vet was high on something, not being present for part of the time I waited and trying to tell me I didn't have an appointment? Insanity! They have no idea what they are doing, or just don't care. Based on their behavior, standing around impervious to the surroundings, having such trouble registering people I really felt like they were all stoned. read more

Had my dog scheduled for a spay this morning, I was there at 6:30 am as I was told there is a line for 7am drop off... cool no problem. We were the first in they took my dogs weight and made me remove the harness and collar from her and strung a thin nylon "leash" around her neck and proceeded to try and drag her out of the room choking her!!! She was terrified, they then told me they couldn't take her because she is too aggressive she didn't bite or snap at anyone; wish I could have string that nylon cord around the tech and drag him for a minute and see if he becomes scared or aggressive. I'm glad we were sent away, I can only imagine how they treat our babies when we aren't watching!!! Pay the extra and use a real vet not this assembly line surgery center. read more

It was a great way to have all your pets looked all at once. The pricing was fair & the Service was good. My main complaint is i go and take my dogs to a place to get vaccinated then they come home and they contract kennel cough. It's the only place they've been to get exposed. My dogs are 12 and 14 years old we've lasted all these years without getting anything and I thought going to Vetco would be a great way to get their shots up to date. I will never do it again. It's so sad having to hear your dogs cough and you can't do anything about it. read more
