Dr. Grove is not only extremely knowledgeable, experienced and compassionate but she goes above and beyond to check-in on our little ones after she visits. Throughout the years, she's been consistently reliable in providing the highest quality of care in the convenience of our own home. She is the best veterinarian we've had the pleasure of having. And there's absolutely no one else we'd rather have taking care of our pups. We, and the pups, appreciate you and all you do more than you know Dr. Grove!! read more

We love Dr. Grove! She is very professional and easy with our cats. The price is reasonable for a house call with all the vacceines and tests. Absolutely recommend! read more

Susan really cares about my pets and is super patient if one goes hiding. Her coming to the house makes it so much easier to schedule checking them all out at the same apt. After one of them had to have major dental, she texted to check in on him even though she wasn't directly involved. I can't think of anyone else to care for them. read more

I've been using her service for the last three years with two different golden retrievers (Brady and now cooper) and she has always been accommodating and professional. I've lived at 3 different locations and this service has ALWAYS come, never late, and have everything in their vehicle to get the job done. Like many other pet owners, going to at brick and mortar vet can be inconvenient and more importantly stressful, both on you and your animal. I personally don't want my dogs being associated with going the vet as a negative thing, so that fact I can do it from the convenience from my own home is amazing. Now there is cons to this. It is a little more expensive than a traditional vet office. In my experience I've always been charged a travel fee. But it's reasonable given Californias high gas prices, and you know, it's just California! I 100% recommended this service to anyone that wants the best for their animal, having the comfort of your own home in mind so your animals anxiety stays at an all time minimum. read more

Dr. Susan Grove is wonderful. She offered me a telehealth visit for my dog last minute. I was skeptical doing this at first, but it worked out great! My dog is very afraid of the vet and I hate stressing him out especially with the new COVID protocols. I don't think I will ever take my dog to the regular vet again (unless there is some emergency). I will be using Susan either for the in home appointments or for telehealth. She is kind, caring, and knowledgeable. I think more vets should be set up this way. read more

Love Dr. Susan Grove and Vet2You. I have a Doodle who has car anxiety and by the time I get him to the vet he's so worked up the vet can't give him a good exam so I hired Dr. Grove to come to the house and it was an amazing difference. She's a great vet, she had meds in her car and it was so much easier and convenient and my dog wasn't stressed out. I highly recommend Vet2You and Dr. Susan Grove! read more

Susan is a fantastic veterinarian. She answered all of our questions and took care of our cats so well. She is the only veterinarian that has taken the time to answer all of our questions and explain them in a way that we were able to understand. We were able to get a complete work up done and now our cat does not have to go to a veterinary clinic this year. Which he does not like to do. Susan is by far the best veterinarian I have ever worked with. We are so thankful that we found her and for the work that she did. We were concerned about a lump that we found on our cat and she biopsied it at our home and returned the results in one day and she said that she understands that the waiting can cause a lot of anxiety for owners. Dr. Susan Grove is absolutely amazing! Last week everything seemed to be going wrong with my pets and she was there every step of the way. First: My puppy broke his leg Friday evening and even though Dr. Grove was on her way out, she stopped to talk with me on the phone and reassure me everything would be okay. In addition, she provided me meds immediately to help my puppy with the pain, and called the vet hospital to inform them of what had happened with my pup and that I was on my way there. The moment, I walked through the door the hospital knew who I was and was ready to help. After, the surgery she continued to follow-up and check in with me everyday about his progress. Second : Right after the chaos with my puppy,I found out my cats had flees and needed to be put in a kennel while the house was treated for a few hours. The night before the house treatment, I realized my cats vaccinations were not up to date, and thus the kennel wouldn't take them. I called Dr.Susan Grove at 9 o'clock at night, and without a second thought she came over and vaccinated them for me. Saving the day again. It was an insanely stressful week, but Dr.Grove was so unbelievably helpful and kind. She went above and beyond in every way possible to help my animals and to ease my stress, I don't know what I would do without her. read more

Love her! But mostly what I love is that I did not have to go through the trauma of hauling a screaming cat across town, waiting with screaming cat in a dog filled lobby then dealing with said screaming-now scratching cat afterward. She is awesome she was on time both my cats got dealt with at once in our home and I cant imagine ever going back to the old way. Thank you Dr Grove! Seriously spring for the extra fee to have her come to your house, its so worth it. read more

From the start the visit didn't go well, first thing (introduce yourself to the animal), Dr. Grove just grabbed my puppy while I was holding him (8 weeks old with some training/socialized) and guess what happened for the first time ever! He bit her. I was amazed, I really didn't know what to say, the rest of the short visit was awkward and misdirected, I didn't get a chance to ask questions. The Doctor simply blamed me for the issue with the bit, telling me to socialize him more and she wanted to know if I was nervous, um NO! how about not grabbing an unknown dog away from their owner without having a brief moment of connection so they feel comfortable. The rest of the visit was mostly done by muscle memory on the Doctors part, so getting to specifics on things we needed answered never got done. read more

Dr. Susan is amazing! Very smart and very kind. She truly cares about your pets. We had an emergency situation where we had to take our cat to the ER, and she contacted us multiple times to check in and make sure we were okay. We are so impressed with her. All of the ER doctors talked highly about her, and thought the medication protocol she recommended was great. 5 out of 5 star easy. I highly recommend her. Also, she was NO more exspensive than going to a clinic, so it is worth every penny to be able to do either a telemedicine visit or an at home visit with her! read more

Sunday evening, my great Dane who was suffering from osteosarcoma, began rapidly declining and I knew it was time to say goodbye. I desperately searched for a mobile veterinarian who could come to the house to perform euthanasia, as he wasn't mobile, and at 170 pounds would be impossible to get into the car myself to take somewhere. Dr. Grove called me back immediately, however it was only to inform me that she would not be able to assist me because she was watching the World Series. At 7pm in the evening on Sunday, I was aware it was going to be difficult to find someone to come to the house...however I never expected a vet to tell me the World Series was more important than my dog. I understand that you had people from NY over your house, however a much less heartless option would have been to say 'you were sorry, but you were unavailable" and leave it at that. I would never recommend Dr. Grove for any of your veterinary needs. If her compassion for a dying dog is that lacking, I have grave doubts about her ability to have compassion for any animal. read more

Maya is a 3 year old staffordshire/hound mix and a work in progress. Her misspent youth left her with a few trust issues so consequently she is hardly considered an easy patient. Therefore we feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Susan Grove. In addition to her 25 years of experience, Dr. Grove is kind and patient and proved herself trustworthy to Maya who now adores her. Dr. Grove regularly goes above and beyond our expectations in providing medical care and attention, minor or major, to our kid with 4 legs and a tail. It's been many years since we've found a veternarian as trustworthy and sincere as Dr. Grove. Her extensive knowledge along with a lifetime of loving and owning animals of her own gives her a valuable instinct and understanding that can't be taught. It is guaranteed that she will attend to your pet as if it were her own, and there's really nothing more one could ask for. read more

Called the doctor for an appointment and she was unwilling to see my dog because he is "shy." What kind of vet is afraid of a shy dog? Would 100% recommend a different vet if your dog is the slightest bit shy. She wasn't friendly in the delivery of it either, so I wouldn't be comfortable with her coming to my home. read more

After multiple (costly) vet tests, medications, suffering & a lot of tears, my mom & younger sisters came to the realization after weeks of watching their 13 year old cat, Kiwi, struggle to breath & survive. She developed an infection in her lungs, which came on pretty quickly & worsened by the day...leaving our sweet Kiwi unable to move, eat, or clean herself - she was in visible pain & discomfort. My family contacted Susan after deciding that they did not want Kiwi's last moments to be in a cold, unfamiliar, anxiety-inducing vet office. They had originally planned for her to visit on a Saturday morning - however at the last minute we all feared Kiwi wouldn't make it til then, so Susan kindly agreed to come Friday night - and the moment she stepped in my mother's home we immediately felt her warm heart. She placed Kiwi on a little pet bed she brought with her and cozied her up under a blanket, then sat down next to her on the couch, pet her softly & comforted her, while we all sat around them on the floor. Susan explained the process in a quick, but detailed & compassionate manner. She allowed time for silence when it was needed for tears & grieving. She comforted us all with her amazing words of wisdom and made us all feel less 'guilty' for the incredibly hard decision that we had to make. It was clear that she felt connected in a way to Kiwi as well, when she spoke about the love she felt in the room, acknowledging that Kiwi must have had a great life, being around us all in a loving, nurturing home for so many years. Susan has quite a unique gift & nurturing spirit. Though the pain of losing our beloved cat was intense...the sight of her desperately trying to fill her lungs with air was almost unbearable to witness. Kiwi's passing with Susan's assistance brought a profound peace over us all - we will be forever thankful for her services & will recommend her wholeheartedly! read more

Dr. Grove was fantastic with my cat (and with me). She understood and directly addressed my concerns, and was patient in explaining treatment options. She has a calming presence and instills trust quickly. My cat is indoor/outdoor and I've received my fair share of judgement/lectures from vets for allowing my cat to go outdoors. I really appreciated that Dr. Grove didn't give me a judgement, and just pragmatically talked through relevant concerns. It was clear we both just had the let's best interest at heart. I definitely recommend Dr. Grove. read more

We were having difficulties not only in finding a doctor who would make home visits, but also one who would return phone calls. Dr. Grove was wonderful in doing so. I don't think the patient, a large golden retriever of (ahem) sensitive nature, even noticed the shots being administered, the samples being collected or was even aware a doctor was examining him. And Dr. Grove did provide clear explanations for the rest of us in a clear, kind and pleasant way. Many thanks, Dr. Grove, for the service! read more

We spent 8 glorious years in southern California and had to relocate to the East Coast, while we were in California Dr. Grove was our Vet. Did I mention we have 9 Golden Retrieves, of which 7 are trained Therapy Dogs. Dr. Grove was always there for us and there were many cases where we had to have a vet stat, with all the unfamiliar things that arise with 9 dogs. To this day we still make phone calls to Dr. Grove with many questions and she promptly answers them with recommendations and cures, all of which we prefer to be of Holistic nature. I would highly recommend Dr. Grove and Vet2you for any and all of your Vet needs. We truly miss her and hope to move back to Southern California and be with our favorite Vet. daineal j. read more

Dr Grove is one of the most sincere and caring veterinarian I've ever come across. She has always treated my kiddo as her own, with the same love, care and attention. My dog was raised in a different state and as soon as we moved to San Diego he started having multiple health issues due to local allergens in addition to the orthopedic issues that started compounding. Dr Grove came up with a practical step-by-step approach for how address each of the health concerns, took the time to explain everything and proactively did regular follow-ups on his well being. During covid, when emergency rooms were shut down or barely open and my dog needed urgent medical attention, she would always try and make time in her busy schedule, at times going completely out of her way to treat him. Moreover with her being mobile, it brought medical care to my doorstep, avoiding putting my dog through the stress of travelling or going into a vet clinic. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great vet ! read more

Dr. Grove is the best Vet. I have worked with her for over a decade and my babies health reflects that. I have a 14 year old cat and a 9 year old dog. Both in impeccable health and that would absolutely be because of Dr. Grove. She is a mobile vet which got my anxious kitty and for (her anxious Mother) proven to be super helpful. In the beginning when I adopted her 11 years ago I went to other Vets. Most work like a factory not taking the time and attention Dr. Grove gives. I literally trust no one other than her. She cares for my pets like no other has. My pets conditions have ranged from allergies, weight issues (Cat underweight) (Dog overweight), teeth issues, infections from underlying allergies etc. She has literally resolved them all. Even if she refers me to another doctor (like a dentist or a hospital) it's only the best. You can tell the difference. There are not enough thanks yous I can give Dr. Groves expertise, and her bedside manner. My Pets are my children. So I take anyone that cares for them seriously. read more

Dr. Susan saw our cat today for the first time and it was a great experience. My cat hates going to the vet, and I was worried he would be stubborn in his element but Susan handled him nicely and he was pretty well behaved. Much better than taking him in his box, in the car, dogs, etc. One of the highlights was you get to actually deal with the vet the entire time and they are not so rushed and distracted. I feel like the vets are always overbooked, you don't have time to explain what's going on, and you usually deal with an assistant or employee. You pay a little more with the driving fee but the actual time spent with the vet and attentiveness is so much better it's a no brainier. Susan was great. read more

I have known Dr. Grove both personally and professionally for over 15 years. She has helped me with many of my pets who have in the last several years taken on more complex issues. Problems that have required them to be re-evaluated on a more consistent basis, changes in medications, and changes in treatments. Dr. Grove is always informative, sympathetic and continues to be aware of changes in current medicine. She has dealt with both my outgoing cat and my shy cat with respect to their personalities. My dog adores her and gets crazy excited to see her. She has been thorough in adapting to the current changes to make sure all involved are being safe and healthy. She is quick to do what she can and supportive if the pets need to be seen by specialist to get them headed in the right direction. I would encourage anyone who thinks they might benefit for home care for their pets to utilize her services. read more

i was so lucky to find Dr. Grove, i learned just how caring and compassionate , attentive, and knowledgable she was when she started taking care of my lovely 11 year old lab about 1 year ago, my dog was getting older and become weaker as she aged, When I called Dr Grove and she came over for the first time she was so attentive, and caring i knew she would be my lifelong vet, she made my last moments with my 12 year old yellow lab , very memorable, and made it easy to part with her in the process of euthanasia, at my home , it was exactly what was the best process for myself and my dog, and i will never forget it. At any time Dr. Grove was called she promptly , and quickly responded, How can you ask for a better more caring vet than that. I highly recommend her to anyone, I have since adopted another puppy, and Dr. Grove will be her Doctor too, because I know what excellent care she will receive, Her hours are flexible, and she always takes her time to get the proper care done without hurrying or rushing.thanks Dr. Grove. All these reviews are absolutely true. After meeting Dr. Grove, I am so grateful that there are still veterinarians that truly care, who want to make a positive impact in people's lives. One of my cats, Pixie, had to be euthanized 5 days ago. It was unexpected and I have been a wreck emotionally. She was extremely bonded with her brother cat, Boxer; so when he started acting lethargic, not eating, meowing weird, I figured he was depressed. I felt terribly guilty about not getting a vet to Pixie sooner, so I researched home vets since Boxer is an extremely skittish, scared cat. I found these reviews and emailed Dr. Grove late at night. 20 or so minutes later, Dr. Grove contacted me to meet the next day. The fee was very reasonable considering she is a mobile veterinarian. I felt at ease immediately-- by nature I am shy, suspicious, and normally feel I'm getting hosed financially. I didn't feel this way about Dr Grove. In 5 minutes examining him, she determined Boxer was critical and needed to go to emergency to fix an urinary obstruction. I was worried and panicked, but for some reason, i trusted her even though I only knew her for 5 min and communicated in a few emails. The hospital did determine he had an obstruction. While he has been in the hospital, Dr. Grove has contacted me frequently throughout the day to check on him. She also helped me tremendously by contacting the hospital, to advocate for Boxer and to help me understand the risk/treatment, so I could make an informed decision. I found dr. Grove to be incredibly compassionate, understanding, non-judgmental; she also does not just say things to make you feel better--she is honest and is able to step easily into a person's shoes. Dr. Grove was wonderful in so many ways. I'm still dealing with the hospital now, but it looks like boxer will be okay. I owe this to Dr. Grove, because without her, I would have made the wrong decision about Boxer's life. Dr. Grove will be the doctor for my animals, always. Robyn read more

Dr. Susan Grove has excellent clinical skills and provides compassionate care. The three things my cat hated the most were her carrier, car rides, and the vet. My cat was very shy around strangers but Dr. Grove put her at ease and she didn't mind treatment by Dr. Grove. Unfortunately the time eventually came to put my cat down as she was almost 17 years old and very sick. Dr. Grove did not pressure me either way to extend her life or put her down. Why why why did we not try this earlier? Having the Veterinarian make a housecall is genius. Our 15 year old cat was having some issues and rather than cramming him in his carrier and him freaking out and peeing all the way to the Vet-there she was, Dr. Susan Grove, in our living room with Mark, our cat, casually sitting in her lap! She was able to observe him in his own world, check him out, and get the necessary samples she needed to figure out what is wrong. Not only that, she was so quick to get the results back to us after she heard from the lab. It was so nice to speak directly to her and not have to go through a chain of people in an office evertime we communicated. Making appointments was quick and easy. If you need a vet, it is so worth the very reasonable travel fee to have Susan from Vet2You come to your home to see your pet. She's the best. read more

My dog Abby HATES going into the vet's office. The strange smells, unfamiliar stimuli and the pain associated with visiting the vet's office, caused my dog a great deal of anxiety and caused me to put off preventative check -ups more than once. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Susan Grove. When she comes to our home, she plays with my dog prior to doing any kind of exam or administering shots. Abby is relaxed and actually enjoys Dr. Grove's visit. During the last visit, Abby needed shots. Dr. Grove sat on the ground, and held Abby in a loving embrace while administering the necessary immunizations. Abby didn't flinch and remained in her arms for several minutes enjoying Dr. Grove's sincere attention and loving strokes. Dr. Grove's offers excellent, down to Earth care for pets and her prices are very reasonable.
