It took some time but it is all worthwhile because it is for my health. Everyone in the office, from administrative staff to the therapists, was very friendly and helpful. All the therapists were knowledgeable and very patient. The massage that they did was crucial and helpful as part of the healing journey. I had experience in a couple of other places before I came to B&C, and B&C has been the best & would wholeheartedly recommend this facility.

I have worked with Tiffany and Ching for a back injury, and Amy and Boris for hip tendonitis. Previous therapists I saw before B&C would assigned an exercise and go off to be with another patient. Then yet another therapist would come along and assign another exercise. At B&C, you are with the same therapist for the entire session who spends 100% of their time working with you, focusing on your progress, and recording it in their database. They put time and thought into which stretches and exercises will work best for your needs. They truly care. My pain is gone and I now have a menu of exercises to keep in shape. Thank you to everyone at B&C!

It's an open concept and bright space with lots of patients and physical therapists. Mary-Claire took the time to diagnose my issues and tailored a PT program to get me right. The rest of the staff are also friendly and helpful, including AJ, Christian, Adrian, and Andrea. I didn't work with Andrius but he seemed knowledgeable and caring. My one note is that it can feel like the patients are put through an assembly line so you might have to speak up to get extra attention on your exercise form or discuss what's working or not in the program. Very easy to call in to make an appointment or change it. The office also helped me deal with an insurance snafu. There's parking in the back but all the spaces are reserved for specific businesses so you may have to do street parking even if it looks like there are open spaces.

My orthopedic doctor advised me to go to physical therapy for up to three months, after one month of being in a sling. I have had plenty of other injuries in the past and this one has definitely been the slowest to heal and quite limiting in terms of going through daily lifestyle tasks. Finding a facility for physical therapy was a bit challenging. Many in my area had no reviews, or even worse, negative reviews. The facility which my doctor recommended did not even return my call for a consultation. I decided to take a chance on Mariners, which is established in Orange County, but new to this location. Upon my first consultation, I felt very comfortable there. It is organized, clean and professional. Service is great. They process your insurance claims, which I am finding several places do not do. The therapists are very knowledgeable and just pleasant - positive. They share duties so you may interact with multiple therapists and aides in one session. Most importantly I am seeing progress with my mobility and flexibility with their treatments. They add and remove exercises each week, so it is not monotonous. In the past I have had PT that involves lots of manual massage (which I love) and I've had some sessions where the therapists spend two-three minutes with you then send you to a roller table the rest of the time. Mariners definitely has substantive treatment the whole hour or so you are there. The only thing I would prefer is more of a massage component as it is a bit painful to just jump into exercises. They do however, do stretches with you before the exercise component. I would also like to see a more formalized program of at-home exercises to do. In the past I have received these plans with diagrams and instructions. I had to ask about at-home exercises after several weeks of treatment since none were offered to that point. Aside from those small matters, I do have lost of confidence in Mariners and will continue to work with them.

My footpain is an old broken foot injury that flares up seasonally. I worked with Dr. Kimmi and Dr. Cheri on building strength and with shockwave therapy. I continued to work with Dr. Cheri and Dr. Kelli during my pregnancy for strength and prenatal chiropractic care, which helped immensely to address my aches, pains, and changing body. Needless to say, I am a huge Healthfit advocate to care for your body- the entire team of Drs. are fantastic. It's rare to find someone who genuinely put his patient's needs first. I also appreciate the hands-on treatment he provides. He spends time working directly on my muscles and mobility instead of relying mostly on machines. Before coming to NeuroSport, I could't fully extend my leg or turn onto my side in bed. Now I can do both without struggling. Everyone at NeuroSport is friendly and professional. If you're looking for a physical therapist who is skilled, honest, and truly cares, I highly recommend Grant Duncan and the entire NeuroSport team. TLDR: He has been able to help each of us after we all were separately convinced that we had seen "all of the best" PTs/therapists/healers in California, Minnesota and Vancouver. I found him while I was training for an Ironman a couple of years ago. I had experienced a number of injuries while training that were starting to slow me down. Not only did those injuries resolve, but in later appointments with him I was able to fix my chronic shoulder/neck and low back pain that I had been living with for the last 15 years after injuries/surgeries from playing high school football and baseball. I can't put a price on what this has done for my quality of life as someone who values taking care of my health and fitness. Since then I have sent my parents, girlfriend and one of my friends to him and we have all had the same experience. Parents: Dad (ankle) Mom (meniscus) - - both of them are now pain free after they had been living in pain for the past two decades after each of their injuries. One of my best friends experienced a near-death skydiving accident. Broke 4 cervical vertebrae and tore his acetabular labrum (hip labrum) and had seen 12+ specialists to try to get out of pain and regain his mobility he had lost after being in a neck brace for 4 months. He was told that all of those specialists were the best in their fields/techniques but he only saw either marginal improvement (if any) or temporary improvement/relieve with them. After one appointment with Dr. Loc he regained most of the functionality of his left hip and is excited to go back and address his neck pain with Dr. Loc. For the first time in half a decade he is feeling confident that there is actually a path out of pain for him. My girlfriend had low back pain throughout her life as long as she can remember. After a single appointment with Dr. Loc she has not experienced anywhere near the intensity/frequency of pain that she was experiencing prior. Even a day of sitting too long at her desk chair would have her at 6/10 pain and now the worst she experiences is a 1.5-2/10 after heavy lifting/long hikes. (follow him on Instagram and you'll see dozens of case studies and other examples of this happening for other people as well) Put simply: We all call him a wizard and he is the now the first person we are all recommending other people go and see when they're dealing with any sort of pain. It's a long drive for me to go and see him, but I'd make the trip if it were 10x longer.
