An Excelsior Elevator

An Excelsior Elevator

Very happy we were recommended to this company from another building owner…read more We had problems with our only elevator at one of our buildings for years it always seem to be out of order. At a benefit dinner I meet this business owner that highly recommended this company. I can't wait to see him again and thank him. Excelsior repaired the elevator for less than I already wasted in service cost from our old company and their annual service contract is extremely less than I been paying for years. Very professional and knowledgeable.

Excelsior Elevator was supposed to start an Elevator Renovation Project in my building & on…read moreJanuary 5th ,and complete it by yesterday, but did neither. Residents of a seven story residential building have been without elevator service for many months. There was supposed to be a working elevator today. Instead, Excelsior was banging away today throughout the day. I called Excelsior earlier today. Excelsior refused to provide me with any information. This is a residential building in which elderly and disabled individuals have been stranded without elevator service since early January, with no end in sight . I learned from the City of Long Beach Building Department that Excelsior hadn't applied for permits until the last minute, by which time it was too late for the City of Long Beach to review and approve permits in time for the project to begin on January 5th. Excelsior had the contract more than SIX MONTHS prior to January 5th, but couldn't be bothered to apply for permits. Excelsior is well aware that two RESIDENTIAL buildings are affected. Excelsior could have had its workers work longer shift, or work on weekends in order to ensure that its project would be completed on time, but didn't. After all ,it's not as if the owner of Excelsior has been & is without elevator service due to his own negligence. I would advise strongly against hiring a company which does not complete an elevator renovation project by the promised end date, and which can't be bothered to apply for permits until the last minute.
