That evening was a true celebration of the hard work, dedication, and artistic growth that each dancer has shown throughout the year. The New York theme brought a wonderful energy, and the entire night felt like a journey through a city of dreams and determination. Bella and I came ready for the night, and in support of her stunning outfit, I embraced my own dandyism -- a style and ethos that speaks to self-expression and quiet confidence. It was a nod to the ways we tell our stories and claim our place in the world, just as the dancers did so beautifully throughout their competitions and long hours of rehearsals. One of the most touching moments for me was when Bella's name was called as the recipient of the Kindest Recognition Award. As her father, knowing that she was honored for her kindness to her friends, dance-mates and her fellow dancers filled my heart with immeasurable joy. It is all we could ever ask for in life -- to see our children not only excel in their talents, but also be recognized for the goodness of their hearts. I was deeply moved to know that she was celebrated in such a meaningful way, in front of her friends, big sisters in dance and mentors. Zena, your vision and attention to every detail made this event so special. The venue was stunning and set the perfect stage for a night of joy and pride. Miss Heather, Miss Vero, and Miss Chiara, your awards and kind words meant so much to the dancers and families alike. To all of the teachers -- Heather De Santino, Veronica Alvarez, Chiara Gonzalez, Stavi, Storm, Sabrina Bishamber, Shara DeMaio, Ms. Christie, Eric Ubiera, and the entire DG team -- thank you for nurturing not only the technique and performance of our children, but their character and spirit. #DG Your guidance, patience, and devotion go beyond teaching choreography. You show our daughters how to be confident, compassionate, and resilient -- qualities that will stay with them long after the music fades. For that, we are truly grateful. With sincere thanks and warm regards, Patrick, Philomena and Isabella Doliny

Note: I booked a class with Class pass. Check the website to see if the class time has changed!…read moreMine was at 7 but the reservation said 7:30, so I am glad I looked. I had a great class with Alina teaching the Arabic basics to belly dance. I used to belly dance professionally with a troupe 10 years ago and I still learned so much about muscle control and isolations. You can definitely take as a beginner or any level because of the in-depth teaching. It looked like other styles were taught at this studio as well, Latin, Ballroom, and Ballet to make a few. Definitely refer to the website for the most up to date class schedule. A drop in-class is $20, it was 2 class pass credits for my first booking. The studio is at the corner end of a shopping plaza right when you turn into it. The mirror inside is facing the front and the side with the door and check in stand is facing the parking lot. You can see the number on the window to double check. There is plenty of parking.

So let me start by saying that my experience isn't a recent one... I've been meaning to review them…read morefor a long time. I had signed up for classes through an online deal while I wasn't travelling and attended very regularly for about two months. The studio was relatively small in size, conveniently located, clean and comfortable (I heard they were relocating, I have not been to the new location). I'm not new to dance, and chose to attend 3-5 nights a week mainly for Salsa and Bachata (I even paid for 2 private lessons and ended up only using 1, but it was such a good lesson!). I also attended a class or two in Rumba, Latin Hustle and Argentinian Tango. At any rate, as for the studio itself, what I can say is that Elite's true strength is in its teachers... they quickly assess what you can do and guide you from there. They pay attention to detail, even give feedback during the lesson to participants so that bad habits are not practiced or repeated. All of these experiences were what was severely lacking at my previous long-attended dance studio. Most other students/dancers were friendly and supportive. On the negative side, communication from the teachers wasn't always good, and there are "cliques" - unavoidable in many settings - but very noticeable to me as a newcomer, and having been to other studios previously. Another negative was that I arrived ready to dance on 2 separate occasions only to find out that the class that was posted for that time slot was cancelled. It also didn't sit well that in the next class I attended, others (in the clique) spoke about how they had heard about the cancellations through texts from one another. Annoying & disappointing as a new student to say the least (note: neither of these negatives caused me to discontinue going there... I just resumed travelling). Pros: - conveniently located - clean, well maintained - fair selection of dance classes and class times - pricing is reasonable - knowledgeable, experienced teachers CONS: - communication with ALL students regarding cancellations - could use more "group blending"... staff needs to avoid feeding into clique culture

After only 3 sessions, my husband and I feel like we already have a solid foundation in salsa dancing! Herven is super sweet, energetic and professional. I really look forward to the class. We listen to some great music, socialize and laugh all while learning new cool moves. I've seen singles and couples take the classes so it works either way. The prices are well worth the value. You even get videos texted to you to be able to practice at home or with your partner. I've been wanting to start taking salsa lessons for almost 3 years and could not find a class in the north Broward area equivalent to the ones in Miami. I can honestly say this one is it. In just 9 classes I can see the difference. What an amazing leg workout as well. If I could give this studio a 10 I would. I look forward to going weekly. Everyone I met have also been awesome. I can't wait until 6 months from now and I see myself rocking it on the dance floor like a professional thanks to this dance studio and their instructors..:)))

Pictures available (you be the judge) If you are looking for a…read moredance studio that has good customer service, responds quickly, accurately to inquiries and doesn't constantly cancel the classes because they don't have teachers; then this is not the place you want to attend. #1)For my 1st class 06/06 I asked for (salsa Cali/LA style) they gave me the wrong info even after I clearly asked, when I get there the class was bachata. #2) the classes for salsa were only available on Monday and Wednesday at 7pm #3) they kept canceling the classes (didn't have a permanent teacher) so they changed it to Monday Thursday. #4) since I couldn't fit my schedule and I had pay for the sessions in advance, she agreed to refund me the $130 but not the $35 sign up fee which I gladly agreed to, (this was on 07/29) I texted her 08/22 at 5:02pm asking about the refund because I hadn't seen it in my card statement and it's been almost a month since we agreed about the refund. She texts me at 11:19pm and said: "it was done a while ago" as she sends me a picture of half of the screen which conveniently enough cuts off the day and time of her request to refund me. When I asked for a better pic of the refund request and clarification of what she meant by "awhile ago" at 11:46pm she replies and SNAPS AT ME saying: "stop texting me I'm trying to rest". I was like WOW. That's so rude, SPECIALLY when she's the one that texted me literally 27 minutes ago at 11:19pm. Instead of snapping at a customer who is simply inquiring about their money which was supposed to be refunded over 3 weeks ago; just say you forgot and don't be rude! That's not professional to be treating people like that! Own up to your mistake! And learn some manners! And stop texting your clients so late at night and then complaining when they reply! GROW UP!
