The technician came out, promptly diagnosed the problem as a faulty fan, and was able to replace the fan with the parts on his truck. The whole process was very efficient and professional. Fortunately, the first suggested that I contact Expert Appliance Services.

By the time the serviceman left the appliance was not in working condition. Customer service representative is combative...didn't take accountability and hung up the phone with no resolution. Read their responses to other negative reviews (O accountability or solutions and are combative). They charge more money for a repair than the actual appliance is worth. It seems their business model is based off scamming customers for the assessment fees, breaking the appliance and then charging 2x as much as the appliance is worth. Save yourself the hassle go with a different company or just buy new. Never dealt with such rude people...I was actually shocked. Looking at all these reviews it's noted others share the same experience. Absolutely unacceptable. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and making a report to their licensing agency. Just because they hang up the phone and refuse customer service does not mean the conversation is over.

While she was here, Aubrey also provided useful advice about a small appliance that I had been having trouble with. I hope I don't have other appliance failures in the future, but if I do I know who I'm calling!

She is driven on helping others with integrity and education rather than many other businesses that just want to maximize profits for themselves. I really respect that about The Repair Ma'am. He said the part I need would take 2 days to arrive, 7 days later I call the company back because no one called me and asked what the hold up is. They said Josh would be out tommorrow between 10-1pm. Taking time out of my work schedule that I don't really have, I said ok. 1pm rolls around and still no Josh. I call once again, and Josh will now be here between 2-4pm. I ask why they didn't he/they call if he was delayed? Just appologies and several more hours of waiting.... Now at 4:15 and still a no show and no call, no one can get ahold of him. I missed an entire day of work and still have a dishwasher that is not working even though I was charged up front for the repair. Extraordinarily bad customer service... I would not use them if you value your time and want a good customer experience.... Absolutely horrendous. Update, Josh finally came out a day late and put the part in to repair the dishwasher, it still doesn't work and has the same issue that I called them about in the first place even though I was reassured that this was the part that was needed. New HVAC filter, reset breaker. Thermostat batteries are fine. Still not kicking on. Sent Yelp message to RES because they have always been quick to respond. And they did this time as well and the woman who gave me a call was nice and tried to help. Pretty disappointed that they can't quickly swing by today. From what I've read, it's likely a dirty flame sensor or the ignitor switch (neither of which is a long job - I just don't have the tools). HVAC less than 5 years old, so parts are under warranty with RES; however, I had to call someone else. Bottom line: Someone else is coming today, but I could end up paying for parts. Kind of feels like my current needs weren't lucrative enough for RES to make a concerted effort to swing by.
