Trevor and Blake took old astro turf that had wild grass and a wild vine growing through it, cleaned it up, put down weed prevention and made that old turf look like new! Then they went above and beyond cleaning up the river rock surrounding it removing each stone, removed the wild grass and then replaced each stone including adding cement to keep future grass out and the stones in place. Several months later , I looked out my shop window and they were reapplying grass killer because they didnt like seeing the wild grass trying to regrow. That was their own initiative. So if you want a job we'll done and then some, I recommend Highlander Lawns &Landscaping.

As I am a certified Project Manager in healthcare, communication and documentation is key to a successful project. Unlike others, Daniel did not budge from the request to communicate via email only so there are no misunderstandings on both sides. Very much appreciated his professionalism. Now the work. I had gravel and pavers installed on both sides of my home. The price was fair, the crew were on time, Daniel was present the entire time overseeing to completion. A job that I thought would take an entire day was done to perfection within hours. He recommended the product and I cannot say how pleased I am. Before going elsewhere, try Reyes out for an estimate and I am certain you will be satisfied with the results.

Not sure if they were transitioning into fall, but they did have pumpkins and fall decor. Some of the plants didn't look like they were in the best condition and we found prices to be steep! The gift store claimed a sale, but found out it only the past season seed packets that were on sale. Cool, cute gift items, but quite pricey. The fairy garden set up was very nice. Plants and pottery housed in that building were again expensive and nothing special. Not sure I would make the trek all the way out again, I've been to bigger and more beautiful nurseries. Although, we did enjoy the Dessert Spoon restaurant!

Gabriel's crew is wonderful and hard working. They did a great job on the hardscaping, though there are still issues with drainage on a patio. Gabriel left my parents and myself hanging. There was an entire corner of the lawn that they never returned to sod, several of the large expensive plants we bought got sick during warrantee and Gabriel did not extend the courtesy of getting back in touch with us to replace them, and the same thing happened with a large red oak, which is now dying. The watering system was not maintainer or properly set up, corners were cut and the lack of communication surrounding something that is EASILY remedied is the most frustrating part. I have written and called no less than ten times, but it appears he is too busy to finalize a $120,000+ project that he said he would over a year ago.

We hired Devin of Wallace Construction because he seemed like a really nice kid. He responded…read morequickly and said all the right things. After he started our landscaping project in July of 2022, we immediately had some concerns with the size of his staff (2 workers, both young and inexperienced) A 2-3 wk job turned into a 7wk job with multiple issues arising. Devin assured us at every turn that he would be there to make things right and follow through. On the day his work team was supposed to be preparing for our sod to be laid (a time sensitive segment of the project) they were a no show. This delayed sod pick up by a day and unfortunately some of our sod didn't make it. Our front yard looks terrible!! I also gave bonuses to the workers Devin got to replace the ones that didn't show to help encourage them to salvage the job. The irrigation subcontractor he hired that requested an additional $900 ended up MIA and never completely finished our irrigation system. We had to have "Andy's Sprinkler Co" come in, and we paid them another $1,000 to fix issues, and it's still not where it needs to be (not Andy's fault). Drip is connected to a zone with regular pressurized sprinkler heads which is a problem and the list goes on. His concrete subcontractors work needed to be re-done twice, and it's still now cracking and looks terrible!! Devin laid our artificial turf incorrectly so the grain of the grass is Mis-matched, it's so obvious. You can tell it's artificial because of how it's laid. He assured us he would fix it, now he is MIA and completely ghosting us. I've given him 7 months to make this right before leaving this review. Next I'll be going to the better business bureau and eventually I'll end up suing him for the additional money we will have to pay to have things made right. We are fair minded, patient, good people. We would never move forward on these choices if he'd made things right. We just need our $19,000 project completed with quality workmanship and honor. We have called him and there is no way for us to leave a msg and he doesn't return any of my husbands texts. We have given him every opportunity to make this right. I would avoid this company if you're considering them for a project. He is unreliable and doesn't finish the job.
