He was on time and provided a quote based off of our final selection. Two guest bedrooms and the master were to be converted from carpet to laminate wood flooring at our house in Princeton, TX. I was after getting a small project accomplished...a 9 x 11 master closet changed from carpet to wood look tile. My carpet is 18 years old and bunched up. But they apparently don't want my business because they asked me to send pics of what I had in mind because they wouldn't let me look at the selection for very long. They seemed as if they were too busy and put out to help a new customer since they were working on removing and returning the sampled inventory. This was a Monday and she said they'd be out to measure on Tuesday or the latest Wednesday and that was 4 weeks ago. I think it's they just don't want to do small jobs and weren't honest about it. But I always do small jobs to test the waters and evaluate their work first like I did with my granite countertops, before scheduling a much larger job. If they did great, I'd have gotten the rest of the carpet out of here. I cannot attest to their work because they don't want my business. Customer service has really taken a dive since Covid. Shame too, we like to use local small businesses.

Considered all of the different products and processes each company offered, talked with representatives to gauge their knowledge and in the end I picked LS Concrete Coatings. They were far from the least expensive but when I am looking at this type of substantial investment into something that likely will be with me for life I care more about how the quality plays into the value. LS was the only company that sent someone out to look at the job before giving a price (avoids surprises). They answered every question in detail, including there experience with performing repairs, (most companies could not speak to how repairs are done). While not the cheapest, I do believe LS is the best value. This was further supported when the job started, they communicated every step of the way (rare in the construction trades), were on time and watching them work, it was clear they new their craft. Only a couple of days post install but so far I could not be happier.
