She is the only hairstylist who has never damaged my hair--and that says a lot, since I prefer to keep my hair light. I have really short hair (lost it when going through chemotherapy), and when it grew back in, it was EXTREMELY curly. I first went to Irene for the bumble straighten. It worked great on my hair and added about an inch to the length..doesnt seem like much, but it made a huge difference for me because of its short length. It was also very gentle and left my hair feeling nice and soft. The second time I returned to Irene, she dyed it. I left the color choice completely up to her, since I've seen her other work, I trusted her judgement.. I was SO happy with the results. She completely transformed my look. I am so much more confident with my new hair, I entirely stopped wearing my wigs. I will 100% be a returning client.

I had an important event Saturday night so I came in on Saturday to get my hair SIMPLY TONED to fix her work from last time. After merely spending about 15 minutes deciding on how I wanted my hair toned because it was too yellow/brassy the last time I got it done (despite using an expensive purple shampoo) she freaked out saying "she's done with this appointment" and refused to do my hair knowing that I had an important event that night, saying that she "doesn't have time for me and my shenanigans." A LITERAL LONG TIME CUSTOMER. She made her assistant work on me instead, refusing to do my hair, even after I apologized for whatever might've upset her and told her to just do whatever she wanted to just fix my hair. Mind you, while her assistant worked on me, she was just sitting there talking to another employee and eventually took a walk-in customer that needed a hair dye, cut and style. She definitely had time for my simple tone and was just being petty SIMPLY because I politely voiced that I didn't like how my hair turned out the last time I got it done and wanted to be toned differently this time. More times than not, I end up leaving with something that I didn't ask for, but I just accept it and deal with it, hoping that the next appointment it'll turn out better. The one time I voice my concern, she throws a tantrum. If it wasn't for my event Saturday night, I would've left without getting any service done. She hates to hear that someone isn't happy with her work and I've seen her behave this way with several other customers in the past news flash... that literally comes with the job.... You can't expect everyone to love what you give them every time, ESPECIALLY when you don't give them what they ask for and you must exert patience with all customers. Or, they can't do what you want and there-fore do what THEY want/can. Anna, is a gem and a delight. This young chick will go far in life if she keeps that wonderful, caring and welcoming personality. Not to say, also the talent of being capable of giving you what you ask for. I had a boring long flat cut. I wanted crazy rocker layers all over to bring my thin hair to life. A couple months ago, I paid $75 at a different near by place in Eastvale. The girl did nothing! I also just didnt like her attitude and that she had me waiting 45 minutes before my appointment, without saying a word to me. Seems to have been my constant experience since I've moved to Cali.
