I've spoken to the owner on the phone and then when I've had problems in the past with the workers and he has been so accommodating.. but this past Friday..i go to the truck which instead of being 15 min from where I'm at in de, it's now 45 min, i STILL go and STILL give this black Owned business my business and money...i inboxed on insta the owner just to verify their location and to tell him I'm on my way, he NEVER SAID well we don't have a few of the items, however i digress..i get there in 45 min, place my order.. the young lady working the truck seems as if she's having a problem with the card machine so i say to her, did the pmt go thru? NOT because my account was lacking BUT BECAUSE OF THE PROBLEM WITH THE MACHINE!!! she does something on her phone and then says ok... the pmt went thru ( just for context it was $37 the lowest amount that I've ever spent at this truck but God knew what was to come, so he just saved me)i go to wait in my car and appx 5 min later a woman knocks on my widow and says oh they want u your pmt didn't go thru... at this point I'm a little fed up...1 they didn't have everything in stock 2. Not properly greeted when i walked up as a matter of fact the young lady was fooling on her phone and barely looked up and 3 the faulty equiptment( pay machine) not working.. so i go up to the truck and she's holding onto this bag with 2 containers for dear life and i go onto my phone into my banking app and show her, yes the pmt is right there and then i ask, is that my food you're holding and she says yes so i say can i have my food please.. she hands me the food and yes i snatched it from her hands because at this point I'm just FED UP....i go sit in my car... eat 4 wings and sit for appx 5 min... after i drive off Within appx 10 min, a text comes thru. I can see it's from mitchs however I'M DRIVING.... then call number 1 where he's screaming... lady u ran away without paying go back and pay for your food. When I'm trying to tell him what happened he hangs up. Then he calls me back and screams some more... at this point i could not stop.. I'm on the highway i figured when i get back to newark, ill sort out whatever... then i get a call from another number i don't recognize listed as Donovan Reid and the young man identifies himself as the other worker on the truck, he's yelling and im trying to say wait a minute just listen and he's saying i don't give a damn lady we have your license plate u just snatched the food and ran...( which never happened) so i finally get home... call my hubby and we attempt to zelle both numbers the owner called me from.... it won't go thru... then i happen to go on fb this dude puts up a post about me running away without paying for food with my picture attached from my fb acct... then his son who is appx 11yo inboxes me on insta writing lady why did u steal food from my dad ? just go back and pay for it.. plus i had another inbox from a female but i never looked at it... Meanwhile back at the ranch, lol, i text the owner at both numbers and tell him the zelle would not go thru to which he responds they DON'T HAVE ZELLE, CASH APP OR APPLE PAY....SMH so now i contact the police dept in smyrna and request a police escort back because if he crashed out like this for $37, i was genuinely afraid to go back to the location by myself. So I'm escorted back by the police, after driving to the station 45 min from where I'm at in newark, and the officer pays the young man the money... and tells him to get his boss on the phone to which he advised him to remove ALL social media posts and to have his family STOP inboxing me.. after which he tells the officer, that they no longer want me back at the truck anymore.... AS IF!!!! but what i have to say to the owners is....i never was running away without paying, and u knew that...i hope and pray that the situation made your day because I WILL NEVER EVER, NOR WILL ANY OF MY NEIGHBORS, AND FRIENDS EVER UTILIZE YOUR TRUCK AGAIN. U lost A LOT of business and hopefully anyone that reads this post will rethink buying anything from you... if u could crash out on a loyal customer for $37 god only knows how u would treat someone else.... Ill keep y'all in my prayers...
