The inside of the venue is gorgeous and updated. You would expect the scenery in or outdoors when you pull up. Our wedding was held on June 3rd, 2021 and from the moment of planning till June the service received was impeccable. The amount of food included is beyond enough and the best part is the food tastes and quality were superb. There were very few items that were dislike, which very minor due to the large variety of food provided and included in the price. Our wedding guest continue to rave about the cocktail hour food, thinking that was dinner however were shocked when dinner was served. The dessert stations was an absolute hit at the wedding and pairs well with the open pair. To top it off chicken sandwiches were provided to everyone as they left, which also pairs well with open bar. The service from Ashley Stegall from the very first day to the wedding day was outstanding! She was very patient with answering this brides multiple questions, and giving her honest opinion on ideas, she also helped with coordinating the actual wedding day. Anna was also very helpful the day of the wedding and ensuring the bridal party and especially the bride and groom didn't go without or needed for anything. The service was unexpected but greatly appreciated. Our guest was in awed of the service, venue, food and overall experience at the Waterfall! They didn't disappoint!

They gave us cold appetizers probably from the wedding before. There waterfalls were dirty and not running. The coordinator was dressed rather inappropriately and didn't even tell wedding party where to go or have the bride and groom face everyone for the rose ceremony.. pasta was gross. They were forgetting to bring people food.. they kept cutting off the deejay when people were getting into dancing.. the steak was so gross whatever sauce was on it .. it was nasty..couldn't even eat it.. the cake wasn't even served it was sent home with people. If you can't handle two weddings at the same time just stick to one. Not to mention not in the best area... Also they had people waiting where you could see the bride taking pictures!!!!!! sad bc it used to be good now the only difference from them and other people is they have the most food for cocktail hour but I rather have better outcome than more food. Also they kept coming into the bridal suite and one point were surprised to see us in there and when I came back in I couldn't find my earrings and was going to change into them and they were there before pictures... and who knows what else...be where don't leave stuff in there...Won't be recommending here like I used to

Only minor quibble is that communications with the office staff in advance of the event should be significantly improved.

Mike, the owner, was outstanding in accommodating our group of 180 people and went beyond the call of duty at the end of the evening when we were locked out of the truck we were planning to store the wedding gear in. We would highly recommend the Carriage House as a wedding venue set in the grounds of Rockwood Park, the aesthetics match the service.

WOW!! From start to finish, Cristina and her Brûlée team were more than just a catering service…read more They truly helped us throw the best party of our lives. Not only was the food prepared and served as if we were in an upscale restaurant in Philadelphia, but they were efficient, friendly, and professional in keeping to our strict timeline. We have been to many weddings in which the dinner service was late or took so long there was very little time for dancing, but the Brûlée team and service was exceptional on all accounts. We had many of our family members tell us how friendly the staff was. The flow of the night went off without a hitch and we cannot thank the Brûlée team enough. We wanted an entrée that would appeal to the crowd, but also emphasize our amateur foodie style...and they delivered. We even changed our mind half way through the process and Chef had us over for a second tasting to ensure they nailed our culinary wishes. In the end, Brûlée created a meal we would most definitely eat out in the city - and made a point to eat on our wedding night! The attention to detail, from our Surf & Surf cocktail hour and a half, to our Turf & Turf dinner, they truly captured the essence of what we were looking for at our wedding. To name a few of the off-menu requests we were so impressed with; the CT-style hot, buttered lobster rolls, a beautiful seafood paella station, a Greek inspired cheese and charcuterie station, and an epic raw bar with what everyone told us was "the best tuna tartare they had ever tasted." And, the crab cakes and lamb lollipops were INSANE. At our Sunday brunch our guests continued to gush about how delicious all of the food was. Overall, Cristina listened to our ideas, provided insightful feedback, and left us speechless with the way our wedding turned out. She was patient and attentive in helping to create our dream wedding, while also being honest and using her years of experience to guide us towards what always turned out to be the right decision. Since our wedding was in the middle of a park in Center City Philadelphia, we were a little wary of having to build everything from scratch, but Cristina is incredibly talented and went out of her way to make the decision making easy and fun. Brûlée is one class act and Cristina was a blast to work with. Not to mention, one of the best kept secrets was Rosy, our day-of wedding assistant who tactfully shadowed us the entire night - she made sure we were able to try every single item on our menu, always have a drink in hand, and ensured we were having a spectacular time! We could not be more thankful for having Brûlée cater our wedding at Dilworth Park. The food, the service, the décor - it was all a dream!

We had our wedding at the Parkway Central Library in Philadelphia in June of 2024 with Brulee…read morecatering. The staff and chefs at Brulee were excellent. They kept everything running smoothly and the food was tasty. If this review was just about them, we would be able to give a fully glowing review. Unfortunately, Brulee's venue coordinator was disastrous and nearly ruined our wedding by creating an unsafe situation that injured one of our guests. When we toured the venue, we specifically asked about dangerous steps around the mezzanine level where cocktail hour is held. We were reassured by the coordinator that these would be blocked or guests would be moved away from the area. On the day of our wedding, the steps were not blocked in any way and the only safety measure was a small amount of tape marking the steps. One of our guests fell down these steps and hit his head, which caused a lot of bleeding and required hospitalization. Thankfully, he is ok and only required some stitches, but this was a disaster that should not have happened. If you are having a wedding at the Parkway Central Library - please make sure that the steps are blocked and guests are moved away from the area. On top of this, the coordinator we worked with was extremely disorganized and unresponsive. She mixed up details about our wedding often, and her lack of management and responsiveness added stress that we did not need. If we did not have to use Brulee as required by the venue, we would not have done so due to this coordinator. Fortunately for you, this coordinator is no longer working with Brulee. In another bizarre move, she told us the night of our wedding that it was her last day with the company and to talk to "someone over there" if we needed anything after the wedding. We really appreciate the work of the staff and chefs - they were great and highly recommended. It is a shame that the coordinator was not up to their level.
