Country girls know what real boots feel like, and these were not it! I returned the boots and paid 27.00 to return the poorly crafted so-called western boots. The company keeps making excuses of why my refund isn't getting to me. Thank goodness I bought them through my PayPal. Because I've had to open up a case against them , they quit emailing me. I will never buy from them again!

I ordered a pair of Skeetchers at the end of June and got them in July along with 3 other pair of…read moreshoes. The Bob skeetchers started to fall apart after a couple of weeks. I live outside of Vernon and the couple of times I tried to exchange / return them prior to today they were closed. The manager Tammy would not exchange them and said I wore them lots- essentially wore them out. I have never had such horrible service from a shoe store and never experienced that at another Shoe Warehouse store. I don't think shoes should last for less than two months...shame on this location for giving this store a bad name. I will never shop there again and suggest anyone reading this follow suite. I was wearing my Nike Sandals today by the way that are about 2 years older than my 10 year old and in great shape. I would have given a less than one rating but could not on Yelp as it was not an option. I work hard for my money and will not support locations that do not respect this fact. If anyone feels that it is all good for shoes to be worn out and falling apart after a couple of weeks and do not mind dealing with a store that does not back it products then this is the place for you to shop. The staff did not serve me at all...they were far to busy gossiping with people who were not shopping. The staff in the orange shirt, did you not see me standing with a pair of shoes in my hand, you were right in front of me...did I need help. No instead I had to go up to the checkout with two pairs in my hand and ask someone if they possible could help me. Well she did, never to see her again, so for paying for my purchases, I left them on the chair and again told someone I wanted to pay for them. I wonder what happened to the customer service, when you are trying on the shoes, did not one have the time to make sure I didn't need another size etc. Perhaps the staff will remember me I did ask for a shoe horn, as I believe in putting on a new pair shoe you should use one. I have grand children, I love the shoes I have purchased in the past, but really I believe I could wait now and purchase them in Calgary, Shoe Warehouse has a very large store there and believe me the sales staff are just great. As for the Vernon store, I will shop there if I am not going to be in Calgary for some time. I love the casual shoes you have in Shoe Warehouse, perhaps the staff should realize that older people in Vernon need shoes as well as the young people you enjoy serving. I have to say that it is very convenient for me to shop at Shoe Warehouse because of your hours, I work and cannot shop at the downtown stores because of their hours. In conclusion, not so happy shopper, when I left your store and the staff at Safeway made my day...they were so friendly, perhaps your staff should take some lessons from them.
