This place is the biggest rip off. Went in to add my son to my plan and was told my plan would go up only $30.00 and he would get the Iphone 15. This would bring my bill up to $108.00 per month. When I got my first bill it was $309.00. I called verizon and we went over my bill and there was a lot added that was not discussed when I made this transaction. The cost for the two new phones with the trade ins plus our updated plan ended up being about the same price as our old plan per month! Worst customer service and cell service I've ever had. I have had to go back to the store multiple times for multiple issues with the phone they sold me and multiple screw ups on my bill. They charged me for insurance that I told them multiple times that I did not not approve. Then when I told them I (obviously) wanted a credit on my account for the $200 they charged me without my authorization, they tried multiple times to get me to only accept a $100 credit. What? You literally stole from me and now want to only give back half of what you took, ya right. But wait, there's more! We traded in multiple phones and put down a huge amount of money to have zero monthly phone payments and you guessed it, they screwed that up too! We were paying about $100 a month more than we should have, and they would have just kept taking it unless I went and spent another 2 hours at the store arguing with them. Stay as far away from this company as you possibly can. You can get the same exact service ( literally the same towers) for a much better price and they're waaaayyyy easier to work with. This place straight up scammed me. I went in with my girlfriend to get her a phone. We ended up getting two phones. Like clockwork, they tried to sell us the screen protector and the case. A case and screen protector combination cost about $90 for the ones they were offering. So $180 for two sets. I told them flat out that I would be buying that online cause it's 25 per set. He also told me that if I got the screen protector that they sold for between 30 and $40, one it's nearly indestructible, and two if it breaks I get a free replacement. First, about the replacement. I found out the hard way that the replacement cost $10 because of shipping. So that's not free. It actually cost more than the eventual screen protector I bought online to ship the replacement for the one I bought at the Verizon store. The first one that I had broke in two days. I legitimately dropped it on my tile floor but in the case. I have no idea how with the raised edges of the case they sold me that the screen protector broke but I assumed it had something to do with the vibration. Not something that is supposedly indestructible should have happen to it. The second one I dropped on what seemed like the same floor they have in public schools, but at Paint and Sip. It dropped from around the height of the seat so maybe about 2 or so feet? The thing shattered. They were useless. I bought something else online and I'm not going to pay another $10 for shipping another replacement. The Crux of the scam was that Sam, the guy who sold us the phones, told us that he could get us a rebate for a $200 prepaid Visa card if we bought the two cases and two screen protectors. This would pay for the case and screen protectors with a surplus of $20 in our pocket. I asked him what the catch was, and he said nothing it's just another offer that's going on right now. I asked him if it would affect any of our other rebates that he was giving us, and he said no. Not at all. After the work was done for the phones, and after getting the discounts for the phones, he punched in the rebate himself for the prepaid card covering the cases and screen protectors himself. He did it on his own. We played no role in actually putting it in but we did accept it. A couple of months later we got a message from Verizon saying that we could not get the $200 rebate that Sam applied for on our behalf after giving us the discount for the phones. I messaged him and asked him about it. He told us that we couldn't get that rebate because we already got a larger rebate for the phones. I reminded him of the circumstances of our transaction and that he put in the rebate for the $200 himself. After the discount for the phones were applied. If there was a conflict where the $200 rebate was prevented by the phone discount, why then would he put the $200 rebate in and tell us it would be fine? Did he not know? Was he legitimately trying to scam us? I don't know or care, I just know we're out $200. After explaining this to him calmly, he stopped responding to the texts. I've gone back and forth with Verizon support and stopped when they referred me to yet another person to talk to. Moral of the story is, don't go to Verizon in Williston and expect not to be scammed. Make sure you have them document everything that they tell you, review it yourself, and then make sure everything they said is on there. Because once you're out the door, it's your word against theirs and they know that. If the manager of Verizon Wireless reads this, I'll happily share my text messages with you that included Sam in them. read more

Don't waste your time with this 3rd party lying and cheating facility. I am left asking myself if this is a joke.... I was lied to by multiple people within this company during this process. I purchased 4 new phones from them and was a returning customer who has made multiple purchases. When I was there I was told my trades were going to be worth $550 and to just send them to Verizon directly. Once sent in I received my trade value of $202. So that lie cost me $700 and I was not able to get my traded phones back. I was told my new cellphone bill would be " around $400". That lie was going to cost me $400 a month as my first bill was $1150 and moving forward my new bill was going to be $800 a month. They sold me screen protectors that didn't work with and inhibited the functions of my phone. I reached out to their regional director as I was able to get his number but he didn't answer and would only reply through text. He had his lower level managers try to help me but they did nothing to resolve the issues created by their sales consultant. Their idea for resolve was to pay the high payment for 6 months, go on auto pay and pay $3000 to pay off 2 devices to get to the payment I was originally quoted. I was then told after no resolve I could return my phones and break ties. Unfortunately and not to my desire I had to purchase phones from AT&T who couldn't believe the situation I was in and brought back some faith in the phone industry that I had just completely lost. When I went to cellular sales to return my phones they told me " you own them" and they could not take them back and it was against the law and to watch for the $5000 bill for the devices. It's kind of struck me funny that " against the law" came out of their mouths after this fraudulent transaction ive been dealing with. I will be reporting this company to the state of Vermont and intend to contact a lawyer. I do not recommend stepping foot in this building. Buyer beware. Please direct your friends and family to save a hassle and just deal with Verizon corporate directly, they will save time and money and they won't have to pay and additional $45 Set up prior to Verizons activation fee. I had to make 2 stops within 1 week, to the location in Williston. I was fortunate enough to meet with Travis Garrett on both occasions. The 1st time I stopped it was to return a brand new phone that my sister had received about a week before. Unfortunately, she passed away unexpectedly without even getting her new phone completely set up. He was very understanding and worked diligently on the return for me. The 2nd stop was actually for my mother, who we had just bought a new phone for and we needed to do the transfer. Again we met with Travis. The salesman she got did a job on her and convinced her to buy a new phone (even though we had been paying the insurance all along) and convinced her that she needed to get the "free" tablet. Unbeknownst to her that there was an activation fee and the monthly service charge and data fees. So we went back the next day and talked to a different guy, who happened to be the manager (so he said). He didn't seem to care that the first guy didn't try to help my wife and pushed the tablet sale. In the end, they took back the tablet and since with the insurance, we had to send back the phone and wait for a refurbished unit to be shipped back to us, we decided to keep the new phone. Terrible customer service from this store, specifically Devon Bradford and Asad ___ (refused to give me his last name). I was sold a screen protector which they had trouble putting on. They said I could have it replaced if it did not seal to the screen. I brought it back and was given the same screen protector. This time they told me to try putting something heavy on it, and if that didn't work they would give me a different (cheaper) screen protector. I went in for the third time since it didn't seal and was told that there was nothing they could do for me since I already had one replacement and that I would have to pay full price for a new one. On a positive note, my original sales agent, Sam Coleman, was awesome to work with. If you're trapped by Verizon, go see him at the Shelburne road store. Though this location is easier to get to than an actual Verizon store I would recommend avoiding it. Sales staff have the style of bad used car sales people. They push to sell things I did not want or ask for. They also have said one thing but then gone against thier own statements. Watch out for the mandutory insurance they say you have to the on all new phones. They will say you just need to call and cancel it after you leave the store. They can not force you to take the insurance but will try to. Overall, avoid this retailer. read more

I am not allowed to go to 0 stars. I tried to buy new SE from this store and it was ordered 4/15/23. Matt Faris, the salesperson said he would call when it came in. I repeatedly called and texted him and the store with no answer to find out if it was in. No text reply and no call back. Our Verizon web site said it had arrived at store on 4/19/23. I was out of town and eventually reached Devon in early May-- he said he would mail it to my other address. Never happened [and apparently against the rules] I continued to try to reach anyone and reached Olivie [sp?] on May 3rd. He could not find it in the store. On 5/15/23 I went to store and was told that they had shipped it back because I never picked it up. Sales lead Matt Parisi had no answer other than that there was a mistake. Did not offer anyone else to register a complaint with in-store; made no offer in response to the lousy customer service. Did not explain whether customer "service" staff were trained to lie. 4 hours of my life that will never be found again. I have over 25 phones with Verizon with my business I walked in to purchase a prepaid as you go Sim card the rep helping me was great he was struggling getting the Sim to work and asked the Manager for help the manager was sitting with feet up talking with a coworker about his planned trip to fox woods casino in CT the rep helping me could not get the sim card to work. This is by FAR the BEST Verizon store in the area - I have been to all of the other stores in the area, including the CORPORATE store in South Burlington, Vermont, and they are AMAZING. They also have the MOST phones on display that you can actually experience HANDS-ON, including (but NOT limited to) some of the slightly older Verizon phones. The men are always super knowledgeable and humble (Surprisingly many of them are young Christian gentlemen who play basketball - good men) UNLIKE the 'Corporate' SHARK / EGOIC South Burlington store (The WORST store in the entire district). What a joke this place is. Just got done closing out account which we closed over 6 weeks ago!! Were told by Verizon to return our phones to the store and we'd be all set. We did that and then get hit with a $1600 bill because the original sales person was out and no one else could process the return correctly. On top of that the customer service at this "vendor" shop in not good. Tried to say we couldn't get the phones without buying insurance. The hot hit with non refundable setup fees for a set up the I basically had to finish at home. Then they couldn't quote me what my company discount was. I purchased my phone here years ago, with insurance/replacement plan and everything. Phone cost me about $400 back then. It died the other day so I stopped in to see what my options were. After bringing up my account I was told that I could get a replacement of my old phone but it would be $150. The guy then showed me some options in the $700-$800 range. I explained that I don't care too much about top-of-the-line and didn't feel like spending that much, noting what I paid for my old phone. I was dismissively told that there was no way I paid only $400 for it. But I did, at that place, so....? Once the guy saw that I wasn't dropping $700+ on a phone (and therefore bagging him a nice commission), he immediately became pretty disinterested in helping me, rather using his energy to tell me how I was incorrect in all my assumptions. Not great customer service. So I left. Went to the main Verizon Store. There I quickly learned that I could get a replacement of my old phone for FREE, was shown many options across many prices (if I wanted to replace) and also told that I had a bunch of upgrade credit on my account that I could use if I wished. But, you get the idea. Cellular Sales was unhelpful, insulting and dismissive. A lot of us already dread going to the cellphone store. Don't make it worse on yourself by going here. read more

There is often a difference between dealing with a large corporation over the phone, versus having real in-person contact with the corporation's employees. Verizon is a perfect example. You may or may not have spent copious hours listening to hold music while trying to get in touch with a Verizon rep. But then again, I may ask, why are you still with Verizon? Because in the end, you know their service is so good you don't actually want to leave. They are really quite wonderful and they've saved your bacon more times than you care to admit. However, if you have been sadly disenchanted with over-the-phone dialogues, do yourself a favor and visit this Verizon location in Williston. And ask for Nate. Your day will become brighter and the sky a lot cheerier. And you will smile. We are extremely dissatisfied with the service that we received. My family purchased two iPhone 12s and two iPhone SE's with a service plan and the salesman Tyler had no idea of the products offered in the numerous discounts and savings that we could have benefited from .My wife and I both had military discounts and they really did not try to let us use those and steered us away from some of the benefits that we could've received from that as well as the rebates were not easily applied and it was three days later that we realized we could've received an additional 25% off the accessories if we ordered online which we did not know and they pushed hard for us to purchase them in the store. They should've informed us of the discount and that we could've purchased them online and saved an additional $200. In my opinion they should know about the products and discounts for military and first responders that they are selling . But it seems that they focused more on sales commission then informing customers and providing them the benefits possible. It's just my opinion but if you are a military member or first responder I would look elsewhere to purchase phones or plans since you might be steered away from some of the benefits that you are eligible for. read more

Stay away from this store. It is NOT a Verizon store but an "authorized retailer" even though the sign over the store says Verizon. You will be charged a $40 "access and set up" fee that a true Veeizon store will not charge and they will require that you buy insurance. Because of the very deceptive signage on the building noting there is. I way of telling that this is not a real Verizon store, it is not, and I therefore will be notifying the state Attorney General's Office and the Better Business Bureau and lodging a formal complaint. Absolutely worst place I've ever dealt with. I went in to upgrade my phone which we did. Well first off the guy I was working with never asked me if I wanted new or "refurb" so he ended up giving me a preowned iPhone. We paid off the remaining balance on my old phone which he ended up charging 4 times to my card... anyway after I had gotten home I looked over the bill and noticed they were charging me $1010 for a preowned iPhone X when a new one is $999. Not happy. Then I went to restore my stuff onto it and it would freeze up every time. So I went back and wanted a new one. Well the guy had reset my 4 digit pin but typed it in wrong so he couldn't do the return. Was told I have to wait 24 hours in order to reset it again. I was able to reset it just fine on my phone but they refused to try the new pin. Well... I went in the next day to return it and the pin I had set the previous day worked just fine. Returned the phone and went to the actual Verizon store in South Burlington and got a new phone with no issues. Only issues we had were trying to fix the fuck ups that cellular sales caused on my account. Whatever you do... DO NOT GO HERE. Go to the actual Verizon store in south Burlington. read more

Pretty awful experience here. First, when I asked if they were a Verizon store, they said they were not, but rather an authorized retailer, and then they proceeded to bad mouth the local Verizon store and tell me how they were better than them. That should have been my first clue to leave, but I needed a screen protector and I figured it didn't matter where I got it. Boy was I wrong. I purchased a screen protector on a Friday. I noticed that along the edges of it, there was a rainbow effect going on. On Sunday, I noticed a chip in the screen protector. Now this was a brand new phone that I didn't have a case on yet, so I wasn't using it much as I didn't want to risk having anything happen to it. I am dumbfounded as to how it got a chip in it. On Monday, I went into the store to see if I could return it. It was pretty expensive for something that broke in 2 days. The guy who greeted me said it was applied incorrectly, hence the rainbow effect. It was applied by the salesperson at the store, so they are at fault for that. However, he said since there was a chip in it, they could not accept a return, as they would "get in trouble". He reiterated this many times. So I bought something that broke in 2 days, and they refused to accept the return. When I went home and contacted the company that makes the screen protector, they didn't understand why I was not offered a refund at the store - they said that since it broke within 30 days, the store should have issued me a refund, and they would not "get in trouble" for that. Justin and Joe were fantastic at this location! I went in to get a new phone and Justin was very patient and helpful based on what I told him about what I liked to have in a phone. (I spent about an hour debating and thinking about what phone to get.) As it turned out, the phone just didn't work for me because it was way too big and when I tried to hold it in only one hand, my thumb hurt trying to reach the notifications bar. Since I wasn't quite ready to stop one-handed phone operation, I brought the phone back 4 days later and was fully refunded for EVERYTHING and was even given back my upgrade (which is in Verizon policy). They even gave me a refund on the case, which I couldn't find the box for when I returned it. Even though I told them I wanted to get a phone at another time since it is a stressful experience for me, Joe was very helpful in suggesting smaller phones that I should look at when I was ready to find a new phone. I really really appreciated their help, even though the phone didn't end up working out for me!! read more

I will add with others that this store does not deserve a good rating since something got screwed up at their store and they are claiming they can not help me out in anyway. Nor can corporate Verizon and nor can their insurance company. The issue is was miss lead on the insurance. I was told I was getting insurance from Verizon. I now have learned I was being charged for cellular sales insurance and for verizon. When I call up cellular sales insurance company they are not able to find me in their system under my number nor would they help me unless I had a number that was in their system even though I was told this was the company charging me. I called the store they were useless. I went into the store I was promptly assisted. The gentleman helping me also had a hard time finding me in the system and kept questioning whether I got the phone there. After several different tries he finally located my account. It was very obvious there was something wrong with my account by his expressions. He called their insurance company on my behalf to which the two cell phone numbers he gave from his system, they also were not able to locate me. They had to use me credit card number to find the account. To go even further with this there is no record of me signed up for their insurance yet this company has my card and has been charging it (with my understand this was verizons insurance) and I've also been covered under verizon (since it is actually part of the plan)(true learning experience this has been). No one can explain to me how I could be getting changed by this third party insurance company if I had not agreed to anything. It is very concerning no one can find my record or have a very difficult time finding my record. The staff member in the store said he did everything he could and I was advised I should go to the corporate store in in South Burlington to only find out they can not help me either. Truly the most frustrating, helpless thing I have ever experienced. No, I did not question this for a while because I thought this was the verizon insurance like I was told until I just recently found out the verizon insurance is part of my bill and this is a third party. The last real kicker of all this is the corporate store told me they "sent an email" to the head manager of this store and he would be contacting me and I could not be given this information. Guess what I haven't been contact nor do I believe I will be contact or that this will ever be right. This store created the problem with this 3rd party insurance company and is refusing to admit/take ownership of their mistake. They are refusing to put forth the effort to make things right. Like many other comments out there, stay away go to the corporate store, go online or switch companies. Terrible Customer Service. I went to this store to upgrade from a 5s to iPhone 6. As all previous phone my complete intentions were to contract the phone under a 2 year contract by paying the $199 contract price. The young salesman talked me right through everything.....sign here, initial there. I was told they were running a fabulous promotion. If I purchased a package of accessories for my phone, the phone would be FREE. All I would pay would be taxes on the phone. Sure why not? Who wouldn't accept free items. I paid $263. It was my assumption it was a one time payment in full. Little did I know I would be charged an additional $27.50 per month for 24 months. Well, I for one would never give $263 for a phone that I would in turn pay have to pay another $660 for. Absolutely absurd. I notify Verizon only to be told this is not a corporate store and that there was nothing Verizon could do. I call the store and speak to the manager, John. He understands how there could have been misunderstanding and that the salesman should not have said it was free. He assured me he would check into it and get back to me by the end of the day. Well, no call back. I call, 2 days later, a voicemail. Wait two days, again voicemail only, a third time. It has been 7 days and John had neglected to return my call. Poor customer service!
