This store is awful! No one knows what's going on. It takes forever to get anything done. They don't honor what they say. They're supposed to credit for an iPhone and even after turning it in it was still sitting on the counter nine days later. Verizon stores can't help you when you use this third party POS. Do not go here. Sunday hours are 11 am to 7 pm but no I e is here. What a joke. They won't be there long. read more

This review is for the staff at this store and not the company, I still love Verizon. The man that works here that also works as a nurse needs to do nursing full time and focus on that instead of coming over here and playing around with peoples phones and at this point my money too. He had no idea what he was doing , did a transfer that he ended up putting the wrong phone number for. A month later, I notice I'm being charged for a random number that doesn't belong to anyone .. like how do you mess up that bad? read more

I haven't been into a Verizon store in years. Usually do everything thru the app with upgrades and new phones. But I needed a new line today asap. About 3 people there working and they were all tied up with customers. I usually would have left but I was acknowledged right when I entered so I decided to wait. The wait was about a good 20 minutes. Adam was the representative that helped me and it was seamless. Answered all my questions about any promos for adding a line. Up front with the cost and what to expect on my next bill. Awesome job kid! Thank you for a smooth transaction! read more

Placed and order over the phone with a sales representative a day before, came to the store to pick up my order and man, what a horrible experience, I've been waiting for more then 1 hour here, and still no help, there is only 1 person here and he has the worst customer service I've ever experienced, I came and ask if my order was ready and he said I don't know who you are so please wait, with a somewhat racist attitude, I politely asked how long more until my turn and he said he has not an answer for me... worst experience ever avoid this store read more

I came to the oak ridge location after going to several other Verizon stores and having issues. James assisted us. He helped my family and I in every way possible. He is extremely genuine and helpful. I cannot explain our gratitude for James' help. Extremely recommend anyone having issues at any other Verizon location to come here and ask for James! We had just switched over to Verizon, and when we went to the other verizon locations, all the employees told us that they could not help us, and that we have to go home and figure it out. We decided to come to this location and give it one more shot, and might I say I am extremely happy I did. James solved all of issues and answered all of our questions. Thank you for all your help and patience James, we really appreciate it. read more

Went in during the Holidays to upgrade my daughter's phone , was told there was a promotion if we upgraded that offered us a "Free" iPad and Apple Watch, NO COST!! That we would receive credits that offset all charges associated with the devices and the only out of pocket cost would be the taxes associated. All BS, received the bill after the first full cycle, there was a line charge , a device charge, and insurance charge on both devices !! Increasing my monthly bill by $50 per month for the next 3 years !! I contacted Verizon ASAP and they were able to eliminate the line charge and insurance charge but NOT able to remove the device charges !! So I'm stuck paying $15 a month for 3 years for devices I didn't need and were supposedly "Free" WTF!! The rep Scammed and conned me , you all have been warned !! I'm the sucker that didn't read the fine print and now paying for it read more

I thought I already gave this location 5 stars around a year ago. So this is my review now for 5 stars - but I'm not sure what happened to my 5 star review a year or so ago. I actually come to this location a lot. Everyone is always friendly to me. The guests always seem happy. Grace and Javy the Manager helped us. They are cheerful and know all the plans and products well. Before us a man was there and was getting help too. It looked like Javy and Grace was answering all his questions (and he had a lot!) Javy and Grace helps us find the best technology and plans for what we need. Javy also helped me get a phone number I really like. It feels like we not only got all the help we need with Verizon, but also made friends too. They have a way of getting things done quick, but they keep the atmosphere relaxed and friendly (it's not easy to get all of that in combination). THANKS GRACE AND MANAGER JAVY!!! read more

Went to this store to get our phones activated and left very frustrated with high blood pressure. I felt like I had stepped onto a car lot to buy a car. I have been a Verizon customer as long as we have had cell phones. We had to listen to everything he could do for is to save us money even though I had already told him we have everything we need and at this point we just want to get our phones activated. Finally he said he could do that for us but he will have to change us a $40. Activation fee on each phone. Like I said we have been with Verizon for ever and this is how they thank us. Please note : if you have to go to Verizon for anything find a corporate store like the one on Almaden next to the Bass Pro shop. They activated our phones and more with a smile at no charge. Ask for Eduardo. read more

Wyatt and James helped me. Both were extremely professional, and courteous. What ever they are paid, it's not enough. Answered all my questions in perfectly clear English without any eye-rolling. On August 30, 2024, at around 1 p.m., I went to the Oakridge Mall in San Jose, CA, to pick up my Motorola cell phone from a repair shop due to cracked glass, only to find out the technician had broken it. Since I am a Lyft driver, I panicked and ran into the closest Verizon shop to purchase a phone from Victra Verizon at 925A Blossom Hill Road #H1A San Jose, CA 95123. I was approached by a salesperson named Dee who I asked if they were corporate Verizon and he said yes which was a lie. I decided to purchase an Android A54. At that point, the manager, Victor, approached me and offered me a free extra phone for the 4th line at no charge, only taxes ( which also was a lie). I agreed to the offer at that moment. The process started taking too long because the salespersons there did not know what they were doing and kept approaching the manager and asking him many questions. The communication got broken and I started getting frustrated. Finally, Victor activated Android A54 and I left the office not opening the box or activating the other phone. I came home and realized the A54 phone was extremely unreliable and many functions including Bluetooth not working properly. The next day on August 31, 2024 frustrated I went back to their office at around 10:10 am and told the salesperson that I wanted to return both phones. He said there would be a $50 restocking fee for the one phone that I used. I was not unhappy about it so the salesperson called the manager (Victor) to see if he would waive the restocking fee of $50. Victor took the return personally and told the salesperson if I didn't exchange the phone with another phone not only he would not waive the restocking fee of $50 but also charge me a restocking fee of $100 for both phones even though I never opened the box for my 2nd phone. I felt I was being threatened and I told the salesperson to go ahead and charge me the $100 and pay me back the rest of $185 which I paid for the taxes on both phones and I would dispute it later. The salesperson then told Victor my plan and they started talking to each other for more than 10 minutes while the salesperson was doing something on the computer. Finally, I was handed a return invoice with only $5.45 credit and took all my money with no explanation whatsoever. Later, I found out they are not a corporate office for Verizon and the 4th line was not free. At this point, I am asking for a full refund of $185.43 otherwise will take legal action. read more

Waste of time. Came in at 630pm on Wednesday. Waited 40 minutes just to have the sales person tell me the customer he's been currently working with since 6:30pm was going to take up the rest of his night. If I can come back in the morning. I told him I'd like to wait and his response was well we close at 8 so if it comes to 8 I am closing. They really need to hire people and stop wasting peoples time. This happens consistently at this store where there is only 1 person working and not able to help that customers waiting. Go to another Verizon. read more

My father's iphone was not working and we could not find his location, so we were very worried. Alex at the Verizon store was so helpful when my dad came in. Alex was able to quickly identify the issue with the network settings, and even taught my dad how to fix it if it happens again. I highly recommend this Verizon store as we have gone there several times and have always had great service and support, and this is another example of great store service. Thank you Alex! read more

Just purchased my brand new iPhone from Apple and went straight to Verizon to help get it activated. I was assisted by a woman named Cody, although she was the only one working she managed to assist all 3 customers including me simultaneously! She was very knowledgable about what she was doing, very friendly and easy to talk to, very patient, and answered all my questions and explained everything to me in detail. Even though she said she'd been only working there for a month she was very professional. Would definitely come back to talk to her if I need help again! I am seeing a trend here with this company. I too got swindled. My wife and I went in to the Oakridge store on Super Bowl Sunday to replace her broken phone. The sales person there convinced me to take advantage of their buy-one-get-one-free special, even though my iphone was in perfect condition. So we walked out of the store with two new phones even though the plan was to replace just one - but hey, who can resist a good deal? The problem is, there was no deal. My verizon bills have been showing device charges for both my wife's and mine with about 22 more payments to go for each phone. Essentially, I unknowingly committed to pay $1000 over 24 payments. I've emailed Victra and got a simple one liner from them, basically stating that they are unable to help because this is a billing issue and I need to contact Verizon. We usually order our phones directly with Apple or Verizion. This is the first and last time we go with an authorized retailer, especially Victra. Please be cautious when dealing with them, they'll overwhelm you with paper work and elaborate explanations and send you away telling you that it will be reflected on the bill. Of course, once you find time to review your bill, you hardly have any recourse to get your money back or fix the issue. UPDATE: I emailed Victra just like they suggested in their response but I have not heard from them. Unfortunately I am very busy and have almost no time to chase this down so I may need to chalk this up as a loss. This was the perfect scam - congrats Victra. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. We went here on Sunday June 27 and at 11 am there was one person working. We asked to buy a phone and the transaction took 30 minutes. We were charged for two different service fees that we did not agree to. At no point were we shown an itemized receipt before they accepted our payment. When we went back to the store to talk about being charged for services WE DID NOT AGREE TO, we were told to come back tomorrow when a manager would be present. They also cannot, for some BIZARR reason, allow you to just buy a phone. They literally cannot in their system. You have to finance at least one dollar. The phone itself is also $11 OVER MSRP which you can buy at the apple store across the way. Again, we did not know this because they never showed us an itemized receipt before accepting our payment. With shady selling practices, untrained staff, and slow service, this place should be avoided at all costs read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. On 09/22/23 I came to pick up my iPhone 15, after pre ordering and transferring from t mobile to Verizon. I only switched from them to Verizon because ALEX , a new employee told me the plan would be 50% off with a student discount. When I got home, I was putting in my info for the "50% off discount" but then saw it was only 10$! Mind you, Joshua and Alexus were hovering over Alex while telling me this false information. I understand we are all new at one time in our life's, but Verizon needs to train their employees correctly because customers take their word. Alex also gave a Apple Watch and iPad and there were additional charges to the watch that I wasn't aware of. I go back to return everything 9/23 & 9/24 because 200$ a month I can just buy everything myself, Alexus the manager was trying to charge me 50$ restocking fee when on the policy it says it can be declined. She told me she's the only manager, which I'm sure is not true. The only helpful person was probably Kode, she told me to come the next day to work with Alexus so I wouldn't be charged the fee but obviously she didn't wanna decline it, to be rude. Anyways, I got everything under control after 4 days. Never will I ever come back to Verizon for anything! Train your employees correctly. read more

Just like other customers have worst experience I have gone through worst experience with this store also. Victra District manager promised me to fix the issue but now his phone is going to voice mail since 2 weeks and no reply of voice mail. So don't go to this store to avoid headache. Go to Verizon Corporate Store instead of Victra third party store. I suggest every body to report to better business bureau and small business court about their behavior. read more

Angry and Scared!!! So bad experience I've ever had! Please be careful when you go to this store! When I purchased an iPhone yesterday, the sales cheat me to pay for a phone case $49.99, a super-expensive screen protection $64.99, single line membership $29.99 and a protection plan. The sales name is James! He told me the phone case and screen protection are free gift, and he just put them in my bag before I pick up. I felt it's a much higher price than I thought when I saw the price in-store because the price should only include phone tax and service fee. So I asked him to show me the item list. And he hides the expensive items outside the screen and told me if I want the phone, I have to pay all the money! Also no receipt onsite. Until I went home and received the receipt in my email, I just realized have paid for all those things, about $200 beyond what I should pay. Today I went back to talk to James about this thing, he told me "NO Return"! and He forced me to leave the store! I'm so scared，so scared...never meet this saturation before. only can standing in front of the store, afraid to go in, don't know what I should do. Fortunately, a lady from the mall security department just stop by me and comforted me. Until now I still feel very angry and scared!!! Besides that, the sales look very friendly before I made the payment and immediately changed face after that. In the beginning, he promised to help me settle everything down. Once I paid, he let me go to another store to pick the phone by myself. Ok, I did. When I came back, he told me he can help me with nothing. Let me call the Verizon service by myself. Finally, I only got the return of the phone case with the security department's help, but still will have long negotiations for other returns. James, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Don't go to this store if you have any other choice. So disappointed with the Verizon store. Hope my experience can help you. read more

John was extremely helpful and professional. When the network went down for a while in the middle of activating a new device, he went out of his way to compensate us for our inconvenience. When the store didn't have something we needed in stock, he found it for us at a nearby store and spoke to the manager of that store so he would hold it for us until we could get to that store. When we got to that store and found it had closed, he contacted the store manager. The store manager was nearby, as he knew we were coming, and came back to the store and let us in so we could pick up the items being held for us. Very big KUDOS to John and to David, the manager of the Los Gatos store on Santa Cruz Blvd for their over and beyond customer service! read more

The sales person that goes by Kevin Nguyen2 is a straight up scam artist. I went in to upgrade my little sister's phone, and he was the one helping me. He found the phone that I wanted and everything, and as we were activating the phone, he tells me that the case and screen protector comes free with purchase. He tells me to go pick out a case, and that he will grab one of the screen protectors from the back. I picked out a case, he came back with a screen protector, and then proceeds to clean the phone and put on the screen protector. As he starts to ring everything up for me, I asked him what were the charges. He then explains to me, the taxes on the phone, and then tells me that the screen protector and case came in a bundle. I'm like what? First you tell me it's free and then you tell me that it comes in a bundle after you put the damn thing on the phone?! I understand sales reps make commission off of extras that they sell, but that's not a way of selling things to customers. That's a straight scam. That stupid bundle he wanted me to pay for was an extra $115 ... for a screen protector and a case. You can buy both of that stuff off of amazon for less than $10. I made him take those items off and charge me for just the phone, as it should have been. Do not get scammed by this guy!! read more

I strongly advise AGAINST anyone who would like to upgrade or buy their phone with any special deal at this Verizon Victra store. Don't trust them and the rebate promise is a JOKE. Though more than four months has passed, I still find myself getting upset each time of think of how I was deceived out of $300 by staff at the Verizon retailer store - Victra in Westfield Oakridge Mall, San Jose, in September 2019. The latest version of the iPhone 11 was released that weekend, and store manager, Jordan C. took advantage of my interest in the new phone. As I walked into the Verizon store, Jordan promised me a rebate of $300 if I upgraded my iPhone that afternoon and I also paid $300 cash for the package deal and taxes in the store. I did. The process was long, and frequently held up by questions from other customers, but I was patient until the exchange was completed and I had the new phone, about two hours later. What I didn't have was the rebate yet after 4 months of Verizon billings. Jordan assured me that a $300 credit would be applied to my account but the credit never came. After receiving my statements, I visited Jordan at the store for few times. I spent several hours waiting for Jordan at the Verizon store; he was often absent during my visits. After three months, I took my complaint about the missing $300 credit to Victra staff. Hours on the phone suggested that a program offering a $300 credit never existed. My hope was raised when a Victra staff member named Tanisha thoroughly reviewed my case. After more than two hours on the phone, she concluded that I was indeed owed a credit. She would speak with her supervisor and call me back the next day in December 2019 with details regarding the compensation I might expect given the deception. The call never came. In response to several follow-up calls to the Victra staff line I was routinely informed that Tanisha had the day off. I lived with this deception for four months now. There is no credit. There is no one who will review my case. Don't trust them and please save yourself time and buy your phone somewhere else. read more

Lysis and the staff was awesome!!! They informed us about all the different service and phone options!!! I totally recommend this place!!!

Needed a new phone. I absolutely did not want a brand new phone, two years of payments...you know the deal. Well let me say I'm not sure if I like my brand new Google pixel 4 yet. But I do know that I received the best customer service that I've encountered in years. The store was woefully understaffed, (only 1 person, at the mall, on Sat.) Plus it seemed like every customer had a lengthy question, problem (myself included) the young man working (Cody) handled it all with such a positive no problem attitude. He answered all questions, was knowledgeable and took care of everyone's needs (while dealing with computer issues to boot). Thanks again Cody. Do not be fooled by what they tell you, because they clearly lied to me and I am out several hours of work that I CAN NOT get back. I am so disappointed and upset! This store doesn't deserve to be rated this badly (1.5 stars at time of review). I came here twice (upgrade and exchange) and had great customer service and no unforeseen additonal charges. Both of the staff that helped me were friendly and fast. 1st visit: Upgrade Came to upgrade my phone. This store was the only one open past 8pm. I think the employee who helped me was named Andres. He upgraded my phone to the S9 quickly and gave me additional options without pressuring me. Overall I left happy and with the phone/services that I wanted. 2nd visit: Exchange Came 10 days later to exchange the S9 phone because the Bixby button was stuck/not clicking. I forget the name of the employee who helped me, but he was swol and had some tribal tats on both arms. The store was very busy and understaffed, and he was working very efficiently to help as many people as possible at once. He was friendly and transferred my data quickly. HE ALSO WAIVED THE $50 EXCHANGE FEE, which I appreciated. Overall, I came in annoyed that my button was stuck but I left happy and with a new phone with no additional charges. read more

Was having trouble with my perfectly fine iPhone 7 until the service decided to cut out. Was told that this was a manufacturing problem and was referred to the Apple store. The Apple store basically gave me an ultimatum and said take the gamble of paying $300+ if the phone was damaged internally by me. If not then it would be free. So I went to Verizon for an upgrade instead. Might as well right? Jordan took care of me. Helped me upgrade my phone and get a deal for an iPad as well while barley raising my monthly bill. He was very patient and made the transition smooth. Made sure I wasn't over paying for anything else and helped other customers promptly! Thanks! read more

It was the worst experience I've ever had at a retailer. I thought it was a "real" Verizon store it's not. If you buy anything here and it's a deal specifically with them you cannot go to another store to resolve. I went to get new phone and they told me that I was getting a free tablet with it. I told them I didn't want it because I have two already. They said its FREE. I sign all of those papers electronically only to find out that I'm being charged $10 per month payment and I cant cancel unless i pay $200 plus for the tablet. I finally after 5 months of paying negotiated $120 to cancel. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Go to a real Verizon store!!!! Best advice... read more

Beware of this store, they do not honor their commitments and make up policies on the fly. We went to this store 3 weeks back to get new phones when Verizon had the free iphone deal with trade in for all existing customers. They did not have the color we wanted and they told us they will order the phone and call us when they get it. We checked at the store in person twice and they told us they didn't get the phone yet. My wife had a surgery and we couldn't go for a week after that. We went to the store today (7/24/22 at 11am) and we were told the phone order was closed because they called us (his proof of the call was that someone had written in a paper saying "called customer") and we did not pick it up in 5 days. This policy was never stated anywhere or mentioned to us. The store manager "Mike" said the free phone promotion is gone and we will not get it anymore. He wouldn't give us his full name. My wife was irritated and started arguing with him and he said he can ask us to leave the store and we couldn't talk to his manager or anyone else. This is plain unethical. read more

This is not a rating for this reseller, rather it is for all cell companies retailers that sell cell phones at retail price of $1000, and trick you with a discount of $300, but charge the tax on retail price, where you can buy the same phone at Amazon for $700 and pay tax only on that amount. $30 that you can spend on accessories. The same tactic is being used for all the accessories that you can get at Amazon at much lower pricing. read more
