I came into the Verizon Hauppauge location and was blown away by the service. The team is knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely there to help not pushy, not rushed. They walked me through the best deals for my phone upgrade AND hooked me up with Fios at home. I even found out they offer special discounts for teachers, nurses, and first responders (huge bonus). The store is clean, modern, and actually has good vibes. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they do. Bottom line: if you're in Suffolk County or anywhere on Long Island--don't waste time anywhere else. Come here first. Green light all the way. read more

The employees were super friendly, and went out of their way to help me. My situation, my phone was unable to dial out and when people called me I was only able to hear them when it was on speaker phone. I went to the T-mobile store in Centereach because I was running errands in the area. I told the guy about the problem, he calls my phone from the store phone, puts it on speaker says it's fine, and moves on to the next person. By the time I realize it's still broken, the store is closed. The next day I go to the store in Hauppauge. I told one of them my problem and how I was treated at the Centereach location. They didn't have any Sidekicks in stock, so he set me up with a customer service rep (we had to hold a half hour.) They say I have to send it UPS and it could take up to 2 weeks after they receive it to send a new one out. That was un-exceptable. I said no thanks and hung up the phone. The guy saw how disappointed I was, he called a few of the other managers in the area and found out the Centereach store was the only one in the area with one left in stock. I had an amazing experience at the Verizon store in Hauppauge thanks to the outstanding service provided by Qwamie and Robert. From the moment I walked in, both were friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help me with my account and new phone upgrade. Qwamie was incredibly patient, answered all my questions clearly, and made sure I got the best deal possible. Robert stepped in to assist with the setup and made the entire process smooth and stress free. Their teamwork and professionalism were truly impressive. Upon further review, the representative added a $17/month fee for insurance on my new phone without mentioning it to me. I never get insurance through my cell phone provider, I always do it through Apple, so had he mentioned it I would have declined. I was able to get it removed, but I'm now responsible for the fee this month and have to hope Verizon remembers to give me a credit on next months bill.
