I should have known better not to give them my business from the very beginning. We showed up on a Saturday at 4pm - clearly during open hours. The door was locked. Workers and customers were inside. When I tugged the door an employee came and said they were closed, I said what? We're here to open two new phone lines and buy two iPhone 13s, that is when he decided to "be open" and let us in. WTF? At the moment I didn't care, because I just wanted to get our errand done. We activated two new phone lines after switching from another provider. Fast forward two weeks later: I find out that the iPad we bought since they had a promotion for $300 off, THEY opened a 3rd phone line WITHOUT OUR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. We found out the hard way when we saw our first bill. On top of adding the line, they decided we wanted equipment protection plan on it?!!. Outrageous. Next, they forgot to give us trade in credit for my iPhone. I had to call Verizon corporate customer service to get this corrected. I called the store to let them know I was good to return the iPad because we were not told the correct info, and the employee said we could not because it was past the 14 days. I called Verizon corporate, they indicated they was not correct, it's 30 days. I called the store back, told them the right info, didn't even apologize. Again really?! I had to write this review because there has been no accountability. I get it their employees get commission for all their sales, up-sells, and accessories, BUT DO NOT sign people up without disclosing costs and purposely not giving out the proper information. Since then, I have been on the phone with Verizon Corporate Customer service fixing the last 3 statement bills for over 5 hours total on 3 separate calls- all been soooo off by $350. They even advised me to never go to this store! Biggest mistake, next time going to their actual corporate store. read more

I went in with my mom, and they treated her as if it was their mom. They asked to see if we need to switch plans but told us we were grandfathered into a better option. It's nice that they weren't trying to upswell just to make a sale. Bought some accessories just cause they were very pleasant to deal with. Got the iPhone 14 (wasn't in stock elsewhere). read more

Went in for a new phone. Motorola edge. Ordered me the wrong one and told me it was the "new one". When received I looked up and saw 2 Motorola edge phones. Wanted to trade in for correct phone. Blew me off on two appointments. Cheap phone cracked and they will not honor return even though they failed me in every way. Please don't go to franchise locations as the corporate dealers are much more customers friendly and honest. read more

This specific store sucks. Dude called me that my phone has arrived, the things is my parents got a deal, but you have to trade in all the phones. My phone has arrived, but I've asked him if it's okay if I will trade in only my phone because my parents are out of place. He said yes, but when I came up there, he said to keep up the promotion we have to trade in all the three phones. I told him that I've wasted my time, he said that he nothing can do with it. He provided me wrong service and didn't apologize to me, instead I've got dude, I have nothing to do with it. The service is terrible and representatives don't have a fundamental knowledge to carry your customer. 1/5 this is Fiasco Karl!!!! i have been with Verizon for about 8 years; all has been fine. I usually go to the store in Higgins in Schaumburg, today, I went to the Rolling Meadows location in Rolling Meadows to return a small accessory. This experience was on 11/26/2019 at 1:05 pm; there was only one associate working and she was so rude. She completely ignored me and would not help me at all. She was too interested in selling stuff than doing a necessary return. when i went back there an hour later; she was alone and no one was in the store; she was gabbing on her personal cell phone. She never made eye contact me; never apologized or wished me a good day (or Thanksgiving); i will never go back to that store at all; and i would advise anyone else against going there. Let me start by saying I have been a loyal customer to Verizon for 5 years. I also get the best I-Phones available and plans. Every year I turn my phone in and do the 12 month upgrade.So when the new I-Phone 11 Pro Max 256 gg became available my son and I both ordered it on the launch date that Verizon notified me to do. September 13th phones to be shipped out the 20th of September the following week. On the 20th I checked using my Verizon app my sons ships out status of mine shows processing held till the following week not available? So I wait in the meantime my sons arrives all good. I keep checking and call Im told it will arrive by the 27th Im dissapointed because my coworkers have theirs by now from another carrier. But I wait the 27th I make sure someone is home for the delivery .... Nothing I call again on hold for 35 minutes till I reach someone after another 30 minutes of back and forth Im promissed it will be delivered by the 30th. I wait and set up once again someone to be home for delivery NOTHING !! I call again over 40 minutes waiting to speak to someone after another hour on the phone Im assured it is on its way but they cant understand why Fed EX has it but hasent issued a tracking number. They will call me back the following day with update by then it should arrive. No call no Phone. I call again 30 -35 minutes to get somebody to talk to its shipped Im told wait another day it will arrive we will call with follow up to make sure your good sir GREAT Thanks. Now its September 2nd still no phone or call. I call back same thing 30 minutes plus to get somebody THEY SPEND ANOTHER 30 MINUTES FILLED WITH CONFUSION ON THEIR PART TELLING ME IT ARRIVE ITS SHIPPED TO THE ORDERS CANCELLED WE CANCEL ALL ORDERS IF THEY ARENT COMPLETED WITHIN A CERTAIN TIME FRAME SIR REALLY?? I went to this store to switch my cell phone service from Sprint to Verizon. I met with one of his employees, her name is Jazmin Solo and I made the switch because they had the deal of buy one iPhone xr get one iPhone xr free and $200 vouchers for each line. This was a promotion for switching to Verizon. They said I would receive it after two months which means $800. I started the service on 3/19/2019 and after I started, I received 4 emails from the Verizon company. Each email has the tracking number for each $200 voucher. I bought new 4 Iphone XR based on my deal meaning that I should pay for only 2 cellphones. They kept charging me for 3 cellphones for more than 4 months and they give me a hard time to get the second free one. Anyways, it was 4/25/2020 and I didn't receive the $800. I went several time to this store for them to help me get the $800 promotion spanning over a year. Everytime, they told me to wait another 8 weeks to receive it. Eventually, I called Verizon customer service and they told me there is nothing in my account that proves that I was promised $800. They did tell me that stores always do that - they tell them about the promotion and never submit it to the company. Even though I had emails proving that they owe me $800, i never received it since they neglected to put it into the system. This store is only looking for their commision. They do NOT care about their clients. read more
