I love the new location of Verizon, and its employees. My first visit was with DAVID, and he was very helpful. Managed to get my BF and I both in new upgrades for a remarkable price. He even found us a discount on our plan. That works bested for our new financial circumstances. I had to go out on disability. Our 2nd visit came a few weeks later. We met with Denzel. He was equally amazing. I loved how professional, personable, well dressed he was. The visit came about because our bill was wrong. It was nothing David did wrong. When my phone was on its last legs, I stopped in to this Verizon store to see what the problem was and if it could be saved. Of course it couldn't, but that's no fault of the store representatives. I worked with Frank, who explained my options for getting a replacement phone through my insurance vs. buying a new one, and didn't try to upsell me on the latest model. He patiently transferred all of my photos and contacts over from my old phone and made sure I knew how to access older files. It would be nice if there were more case options available for my LG phone (all that was available in store was a utilitarian black rubber case), but I was able to find a decorative one on Amazon. The store was also out of screen protectors on the day I went in, so I had to return the next day. Spending money on unexpected phone repairs or upgrades is never fun, but the employees at this location made it pretty painless. read more

Bought an Invisible First-Defense liquid gloss screen protector, told if the glass get scratched bring it back for replacement. NOT TRUE!!!! Paid $43.19(not cheap); Insurance paid $100 for the screen replacement, I paid the $26.99 difference. . Now I'm out now $70.18 and no screen protection. Told by Sales Representative cannot be reimburse at least the $43.19 I paid for the product, when I was told it will be replace. Told him they lost 1 customer, but to tell you the true, they lost more than 1 because I'm telling my husband DO NOT GO BACK TO THAT STORE!!! AND WHOEVER I CAN TELL. . they will say anything for sell you the products, but not a solution for their errors. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!. Had a situation with my phone where it was left behind and i was waiting to be contacted once it was found. I stopped in the Culver location and met with Nicolas, whereas instead of trying to make sales helped my out before I would have to spend a lot of money. After receiving awful service at the corporate location on Ridge, I stopped in to the Culver location hoping to receive better service- and I definitely did! We were helped right away by a salesperson named Justin and a trainee who's name I did not catch. He answered all of my questions and concerns about switching to my own account and was very upfront with me. He talked through each option- even future options!- and helped me decide which would best suit me. I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of or that there were any hidden "catches" whatsoever. He even blocked off a time slot for me to come back tomorrow to finish everything up, to make sure that he wasn't busy with other customers. So normally I HATE going to Verizon for anything and try to avoid going as much as I can . There's always long lines and most of the time the sales people are just trying to make there money and just push to sell. Well not today , I was more than pleased !! I went to your store today where I was met by one of your sales gentlemen named Aaron Brewster. He was very knowledgeable about all of the devices. I went in to get my son a new ipad and Aaron showed me a verity of different ones . He was extremely polite and very kind and patient and you could tell he really wanted to help me get the best deal. I highly recommend going and speaking with him if your in a time crunch like I was (I was in and out) or if you have any questions absolutely go see Aaron !! Stopped in for a problem with the camera on a six month old smart phone. Customer service was beyond minimal. Attitude of the staff bordered on "sucks to be you". This is after spending $250 on a warranty plan. When told we would take our 4 phone plan to AT&T we were told that' was fine, Verizon would charge us $350 cancellation fee. Steer clear of this "Authorized" dealer. If I were Verizon I would be more than ashamed of having someone like that representing my company. Came home and called Verizon. They are handling our issue with the customer service you expect when you spend the money you do on a 4 phone plan. I was informed by verizon automated message that I was at the end of my contract and due for an upgrade. I went to the verizon store at 3045 Culver Rd, Rochester NY 14617, and interacted with account manager Jeff in regards to an upgrade. He informed me that verizon no longer does 2 year contracts and that even though I had an upgrade, that doesnt matter and I need to pay monthly for a phone He did the figures and for an Iphone 6s I was going to pay an additional $31 a month for 24 months. So $730. I asked him why verizon no longer did 2 year contracts and stated that all upgrades were basically meaningless then, and he informed that "that is how verizon does it now" I told him no thanks, and took his card and went home to research. About 30 seconds after logging on their website and proceeding through the prompts, I learned that not only would they sign me up for another two years, they would allow me to upgrade my iphone 5c to a 6s for $150. Basically, account manager Jeff was trying to trick me into paying 730 for a phone I can get for 150 to make more commission. He wasn't overly high pressure, but he used the normal tactic of throwing a lot of numbers really quickly to try to confuse you, in addition to flat out lying. I filed a "360 complaint" with Verizon (which was pleasantly uncomplicated, Ashley the rep was great and very understanding) and was told they would be in contact with me. read more
